the problem is also the same for apple users I can't access the rooms tells me to down load the windows app at the top as well
I have an issue too. The box where you would normally sign into the chat rooms has been replaced with a download. It specifically asks to download the app for windows. I have an apple product, therefore, I can't download this. I've spent a long time trying to get in. It's very frustrating! Does anyone else have this issue? Has anyone else worked out how to get around it? Thanks.

This is all very complicated! "I just want to turn on the faucet and have it work!" Aps and downloads are foreign to me.... have windows 10 and used to have adobe but for some reason it doesn't work anymore.

I'm having the same problem. I'm not about to buy a new computer just so I can get into chat.

As I stated before, Adobe has been discontinued.. and the support for it sucks because now whenever I want to watch videos or play games, I have to add the site to the "manage exceptions" tab.. Never had to do that before, in the 6 years that I've had this computer.

The forum is separate from the chat application so what I'm stating here applies only to the chat rooms. Nothing has changed with the forum, and you don't need this software to use the forum, in fact the software is only for the chat rooms.

For years our chat rooms were flash based, but as someone in this thread mentioned, Adobe has recently announced end of life for Flash, and though they will continue it until 2020, it's already being blocked by default by browsers. Not to mention, there are so many random issues with Flash. And Flash doesn't really run on mobile devices. So the way to go, at least for us, now, is a mobile app and a desktop application, to cover mobile and desktop.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding in this transition and debugging.

Mac users don't fret, we'll be testing the Mac version of the desktop application any day now. Just pray that it works!

But besides just replacing Flash with a desktop application we are also making some important changes and additions to the chat system so hopefully it will be better in the long run!

I also did donate to the site and was not sent a message that I had it was taken out of my paypal and when I was in chat I still was unable to use the mic until no one else was talking so please fix this for me I asked several mods they stated they had sent you a message but still nothing.
I am happy to donate even though I do not come here everyday I think it is a great site I do hope chat is fixed soon.

I'm just wondering why i have to use the chat app for Windows and do not see all the rooms nor have all the functions the site has when we could login to the site it self. The chat app for windows looks the same for the mobile app. Less functions and cant see all the rooms like before. Is there something special about windows for this? Makes no sense why i have to login to the chat app to chat but login to the site to do other things. Does MAC have the same chat app?

It's been discontinued on Android devices as of August 15, 2012.. Since 2015, Adobe has been telling users to stop using Flash. It has discontinued support for Mac and Linux users. As Robo said, browsers are now blocking it by default. The offline installer page and direct downloads were decommissioned on January 22, 2016. According to the article below, Adobe has said that it will "stop updating and distributing" Flash player. Essentially it HAS been discontinued, even though the lousy support for it goes until 2020.. Also this article is from July of this year.
