Eating my cereal with Half and Half. It may sound indulgent, but it's so much better than milk! Someone got me started on it in college and I've never looked back. :)

When it's raining hard I sit on the trunk of the car and watch the show. Something about heavy storms I find fascinating.

Somehow I didn't connect the dots between adult beverage and moisturizer......

It adds a little flavor to the adult beverages. And it keeps your lips nice and soft, which you need if you're sitting outside around a campfire. Nobody wants chapped lips.

The soft blue lights of Chanukah, with its quietness and peace. Its tender moments by the fireplace, with eggnog or hot cocoa, and soft intimate conversations. Its lack of frenzy.

The little redwood bowl on our tiny kitchen table, that is filled with nuts, and has its own tools to make eating fresh nuts a pleasure.

A leisurely visit to the zoo on an autumn day. (Unfortunately, our local zoo has raised its entrance price to the point at which I don't go anymore.)

Like your shares. I do love soft lights too, but we have no fireplaces=). Simple hot cocoa, not the commercial ones sold here, for we have some locally made, slightly creamy (w/o additives i must say) but reminds me of childhood days.

The time i remember going to the Manila zoo was on a trip in kinder i think, and not again. I just make do and be content w/ the wildlife around, you know, birds, butterflies, other insects like ladybugs and grasshoppers! For 2 nights, i saw a firefly inside the house too. And another simple pleasure is listening to soft music like As the deer or this
or playing them myself. It would be great if there were people to sing/play them with as in church practice, but people are so busy, we only manage on weekends.

Me too! Thank you so much for sharing that Mar, that was very beautiful, and I also really appreciate the fact that the words were included, which greatly added to the meaningful experience. Praise God He gives us a heart to worship and love Him and be grateful for all He has done for us. God bless you!

This tune I have never heard, I listened and it brought me to tears, before our LORD I thank Him, for I have drank today after a LONG time from not...This is my truth, this tune and gracious fingers playing to our LORD reminds me of who I am in Christ...xox...

I have been hearing the song sang by some SDA, and found it very touching. Finding the instrumental w/ the lyrics was really a treat, coz i could sing something i havent learned the words of yet, and have come to love the song w/o knowing to sing it still. Speaking of music, do you know music sheets are not that readily available here? My sister used to buy a music mag, with abt a dozen or so pop songs an issue in the 80's-90's, and we have several issues still. Some antique classical music too, but that isnt my forte, so hardly play except for pcs/lessons that i like as Londonderry Air. But on finding Wonderful Savior in key of C online in an arrangement one could play... that was another treat!

Thanks, magenta, and am glad you're blessed.

I dont know what it is abt grasses, but i marvel as i pass the roadsides and grasslands. When i see things like this, the grass-like fimbry, and other grasses, grasses and grasses with the diversity of leaves, flowers, seeds, colors and shapes... makes my heart sing.

Make sure you apply the adult beverages correctly and sip your moisturiser

That sounds idyllic..

I love watching the snow fall.

One of my favourite Bible verses

Job 38:22
22 “Have you entered the treasury of snow,
Or have you seen the treasury of hail,
