Well, He DID get angry, true? But NOW I know that His anger differs from ours. :) Ours is usually self-motivated, whereas His wasn't/ isn't...

Sister, please. Jesus never sinned. You really gotta stop this! You just claimed, AGAIN Jesus sinned. Please. Stop.

And I think therein lies the misunderstanding on here: that since He was human, He had to know the things WE are tempted with. It's easy to forget that He also was psychic (all knowing) also.. :) It would be alot easier if the bible told us exactly what He was tempted with..

For those of us who believe Jesus Christ was God Incarnated, being God in human form, Christ already knew the terrible things we humans can be tempted with. That doesn't mean He was having those same thoughts. Just saying.

What a sight it would have been...him using a self made whip to drive the thieves (money changers) from the temple in Zeal........sometimes I feel that way with the workers for, sinless perfectionists and Pharisees......I also cannot stand statues of Mary........hahahhaha ;) Now watch the vitriol hahahahhaha

Well,

I can only say you have assumed these are inward emotional temptations, as part of our contemporary lens of reading scripture, which then means Jesus had a carnal nature he had to battle daily........ or........ to travel even further into this line of thinking Jesus was tempted to murder, rape, steal and much worse since people are also tempted to do this as well.

Hebrews 4:15
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are--yet he did not sin.

He was (as the above verse says) tempted in every way we are yet without sin. This scripture stands for itself.

His temptations are recorded in Matthew 4:1-11

Jesus was not tempted to sin as in holding back urges, like it He had this ongoing struggle with the flesh as many seem to be implying here.

1:13 Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one

Just as Satan comes after us during times of weakness, Jesus was tempted by Satan during a time of weakness not by a sin nature.

He was not tempted to commit suicide.
Yeah, that suicide remark was another one :p Jesus was being tempted in the same ways Adam and Eve were: the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life. Adam succumbed to temptation and delivered us all to death. Jesus succeeded in overcoming temptation and delivers us to life through faith in His sinless sacrifice upon the cross, where He willingly shed His righteous blood due to His great and everlasting love for us. Saying Jesus sinned is wrong on so many levels, and destroys the gospel message of His righteousness, and being a worthy sacrifice in our stead. That any Christian could defend such a position boggles my mind.

I'm NOT blaming you at all. Nor am I trying to minimize my error... And anger IS a sin if it's acted upon...
Yes you are, making ME responsible for the fact that YOU keep posting, trying to tell me what to do when you know you have absolutely no right to do so, and basically repeatedly accusing me of misrepresenting you when I have not. Anger is not a sin if it is acted on. Get your facts straight Blue.

I do not believe that in the temple the whip Jesus made was for the people, but to drive the animals out of the temple that were being sold, but He did overthrow their tables, but as a human He could not harm anyone, and when He did show anger towards the people calling them hypocrites, and vipers,it was coming from Him being God,which the Bible says call no man fool,or be in danger of hellfire, and the man Christ Jesus always went by the actions of the Spirit, and never the flesh in a wrong way, although He was tempted as we were yet without sin.

I NEVER said that you were misrepresenting me. And I NEVER said that you are responsible for me posting.. And I never told you what to do, I ASKED you to please stop responding to me so that the subject could get dropped and we all could move on to another subject.

So if I get angry and burn down someone's house, that ISN'T a sin?

I never said you were, just that BASICALLY you are by trying to clarify something as IF I'd said anything differently than what you said. Gosh, Blue, just admit you were wrong already! This maybe He did and maybe He didn't business is nowhere near good enough. Jesus was and is sinless. FOREVER.

You have made the assumption that lust is separate from our fallen nature

James 1:14
But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own lust. 15 Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death. – ESV

You believe Jesus was be lured and enticed by His own lust but then did not sin?

As well, neither do I see James trying to separate one out form the other, Lust from Sin, but rather explaining the sin has its roots in lust.

However the point is moot.... because Jesus did not lust, this contradicts far too many scripture that Magenta has already posted.

No offence but lust does not come from sin....I have posted this three times now and almost everyone is ignoring it....My bible states clearly that WHEN LUST HAS CONCEIVED IT BRINGS FOR SIN......this is a clear distinction.......LUST MUST CONCEIVE TO BRING FORTH SIN!

It is clear...he drove the MONEY CHANGERS FROM THE TEMPLE....IT STATES NOTHING OF ANIMALS....exactly why people make the bible state something that it did not state.....

I made no assumption, but rather a logically deduced conclusion from the verbiage supplied by the bible
