"Nothing shall by any means harm you if you believe." Dying did not harm us, the door is open, "I have the keys of death and hell."

amen

I AM the door.
If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved,
and will go in and out and find pasture.

(John 10:9)

So God's Laws are still in force for us as it was for Ananias and his wife Sapphira in Acts 5.
which law did Ananias & Sapphira break? vow offerings? herem?
they lied about the price of the property they sold - that's not 'bearing false witness against a neighbor'

if their punishment was physical death, and as you say, it is because they were under the Law, then do you agree that anyone who lifts a burden, travels, kindles fire or engages in commerce on the sabbath must likewise be put to death?

LGF seems to be under the delusion that whatever he calls false becomes false and whatever he calls true becomes true. Fortunately the rest of humanity is not under the same delusion.
2 Cor 2
15,
For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:
16, To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?
17,
For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

Yes Yahovah/Jahovah is a false name no doubt. It has replaced YHWH in some branches of religion just like adnoai, the Lord, ha hsem etc have.

Are you implying the the "OT" is the teachings of satan?
RED: No I am not implying that at all. The I AM is very much in evidence throughout the Old Testament, although we need to seek him out. When the Israelites obeyed God there was peace in the land and the people prospered. The I AM was with them the whole time guiding them through, keeping and protecting them, but it was different when they turned away. This should be a lesson to us all, and I am sure we are all aware of it anyway, but it just goes to show how easily we can be misled by the god of confusion. God bless.

Is YHWH the supreme Creator and the "I Am" to you?

Yes, I believe Jesus is the I AM who the Jews know as YHWH.
OK fair enough, just wanted to see your belief on this matter, I think a praise to YHWH is due!

Psalm 118:29, "Give thanks to יהוה, for He is good! For His loving-commitment is everlasting."

My brother we may disagree on somethings but seek YHWH is the greatest calling a human can have, praise to Yah for His mercy upon us! May He strengthen and guide us continually!

Psalms 133:1-3, “See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity. Like the precious oil on the head, Running down on the beard, The beard of Aharon, Running down on the collar of his robes. Like the dew of Ḥermon, That comes down on the mountains of Tsiyon. For there יהוה commanded the blessing, Life forever!”

Jesus was battling against the god of the Pharisees and the Jews. Who is going to tell me the name by which they called their god?

Hint, it wasn't the I AM.

These same people who come in Christ's name have tha audacity to call themselves Christians.
Indeed as it is today, those who profess him in name but deny him in action serve another God indeed and do not know him who calls them.

.........

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

In times of ignorance God winks at but now calls all men every where to REPENT for the KINGDOM of HEAVEN is at HAND (Acts 17:30-31)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

There is another name the imposter/deceiver has adopted.

They called the Golden Calf LORD and they call the true God LORD.

Ya in Yahovah means God and if you look at the second part of Yahovah, i.e. Hovah, strongs number H1942 and you will see it means "eagerly coveting, falling, desire, ruin, calamity, iniquity, mischief, naughtiness, noisome, perverse, very wickedness." i.e. Satan.

.
That is interesting. What is your resource for what I have highlighted in bold? I can't find anything to substantiate it and I would like to share it but would need further information.

יְהֹוָה
yehôvâh
BDB Definition:
Jehovah = “the existing One”
1) the proper name of the one true God
1a) unpronounced except with the vowel pointings of H136
Part of Speech: noun proper deity
A Related Word by BDB/Strong’s Number: from H1961

There at the end I highlighted in bold the root word for Yahovah and it is Hayah not hovah.

הָיָה
hâyâh
BDB Definition:
1) to be, become, come to pass, exist, happen, fall out
1a) (Qal)
1a1) -----
1a1a) to happen, fall out, occur, take place, come about, come to pass
1a1b) to come about, come to pass

1a2a) to arise, appear, come
1a2b) to become

1a3a) to exist, be in existence

you arrive at these conclusions because i quoted Galatians?
Not really Ph it is because you are teaching against God's LAW and the Gospel this is what Jesus and the other apostles never did and gave warning that all who do are the least in God's eyes.

Hello LB. Did you not lookup H1942. LINK

Another LINK for H1943

[Psa 5:9 KJV] For [there is] no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part [is] very wickednessH1942; their throat [is] an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.

[Psa 38:12 KJV] They also that seek after my life lay snares [for me]: and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous thingsH1942, and imagine deceits all the day long.

[Psa 94:20 KJV] Shall the throne of iniquityH1942have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?

Strong’s Definitions H1942(Strong’s Definitions Legend)
from H1933 (in the sense of eagerly coveting and rushing upon; by implication, of falling); desire; also ruin:—calamity, iniquity, mischief, mischievous (thing), naughtiness, naughty, noisome, perverse thing, substance, very wickedness.

God WORD says that we can choose to worship on the Sabbath or treat each day like the Sabbath.

the Sabbath is God's rest and a time to remind us of our Heavenly Father's love and His promise that we will get to go back HOME one day.

Yeah how about it!
Thanks for your response. I will look further into this.
Have we spoke before on other forums?
We have spoken, but I think I might keep you guessing. :)

Did you ever moderate on the sadly missed Premier forum? It was part of Premier Radio.

You have infinite time to edit. Just hit the 'go advanced' button and keep using 'preview post'

It's only once you've decided to permanently post to a thread that you have 5 minutes to make any further changes. This is so I can't go back and change something I wrote a week ago that a hundred people have already read and replied to, which could potentially make conversation, particularly debate and argumentation, almost impossible to follow.
