If I did not love you I would not tell you the truth. If I was sharing a PC gospel I would avoid the possibility that you would be offended by what I say the gospel says. That would mean coddling you and making you think dead faith can save you when Jesus comes back.

He who has ears to hear...
We have ears to hear your sly implications. NOBODY says a dead faith can save.

Watch my discussion with budman particularly. You'll see.
He'll deny he's saying that, but I will show you that what he says amounts to dead faith can save.

The bottom line is, many people in the church who live like Galatians 5:21, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Ephesians 5:5, and 1 John 3:6-9 think those passages don't apply to them because they are already born again. But even the once saved always saved doctrine they use to defend living like that says if you are living that way you are not born again. The only once saved always saved doctrine that says you can live in sin and be born again is the new once saved always saved, but everybody denies they believe that. I'm exposing this lunacy for what it is.

I've noticed many people believe that repentance is limited to what you think. You know, a change of mind. As we can see, though, to repent also means to change your behavior.

"repent and do the deeds you did at first"-Revelation 2:5

People are quick to limit repentance to only what's going on in their head, not in their behavior. I can see how that would come in handy to rationalize sinful behaviors. I'm not saying you are doing that. Just engaging some discussion here.
I'm reminded of the phrase, "I think, therefore I am."

People's religion has been so twisted that they now believe whatever they think is what really matters to them.

That's the reason there's so much eisegesis In the BDF.

Deluded to the point they think they're saved by how they think they should be saved, which is the easiest way of all.

One confession,
One repentance,
And it's all over.

They think they're committed by their ideas & methods.
They're deceived to believe they're saved in their own minds, not by living by faith as the Bible says.

First, they were deceived to believe the old OSAS, then the newer OSAS, & now free grace/hypergrace.

What's left to believe? Only one more - Universalism.

That's the direction it's heading.

Is this why you continually misrepresent what people say, avoid conceding to what they've really said, and why you just plain make up things they've never said?

Just wondering. You do this daily. You're called on it more than daily.

When will you repent?
It's funny how you SAY you believe differently than others, yet here you are, acting just like them.

That's why Jesus said, "you'll know them by their fruits", not by what they say.

Matthew 23
1Then Jesus spoke to the crowds and to His disciples, 2saying: “The scribes and the Pharisees have seated themselves in the chair of Moses;3therefore all that they tell you, do and observe, but do not do according to their deeds; for they say things and do not do them. 4“They tie up heavy burdens and lay them on men’s shoulders, but they themselves are unwilling to move them with so much as a finger. 5But they do all their deeds to be noticed by men; for they broaden their phylacteries and lengthen the tassels of their garments.6They love the place of honor at banquets and the chief seats in the synagogues, 7and respectful greetings in the market places, and being called Rabbi by men. 8“But do not be called Rabbi; for One is your Teacher, and you are all brothers. 9“Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. 10“Do not be called leaders; for One is your Leader, that is, Christ. 11But the greatest among you shall be your servant.12“Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled; and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted.

It's easy for the blind to miss the point.

If all the Law is done away with, so are those sins. That basically means we can run after our lusts & it's alright.
Only if your mind is on your lusts and not worship.

Whose blind now?

That's what Jesus taught, and we know Jesus did not teach a works based theology.

He did not seem to be too afraid of being politically correct and avoid telling people like it actually was. He used what we would consider some very not PC language when describing the doom and destruction of those who do not put his words into practice.

That's not a works gospel because we know that we put his works into practice because we are saved and have His Holy Spirit inside of us. It's a works gospel when we try to put his words into practice in order to earn our own salvation. The point is, the issue is not the works. It's HOW and WHY you are fulfilling those works. That's what determines if you believe a works gospel or the true gospel. Works in and of themselves do not constitute trying to save yourself, but you'd sure get that impression from reading some of the posts around here. I don't know how a person who actually has works of the Spirit in their life would think that anyway.

Read what I wrote. I did that.
But it's not important now because apparently she was just trolling.

Hang around. I will show you as opportunity presents itself that much of the theology being pushed here is actually a thinly disguised 'grace is a license to sin' belief. I'm not the only one that sees it. Watch me and budman's discussion especially.
Once saved always saved is often used as the license for people to think that even though they are 'living in' the sins of Galatians 5:19-21 they will still inherit the kingdom despite the plain fact that the passage says they will not.

If you are still 'living in' the sins of Galatians 5:19-21 and other passages, God has probably not started the work in you that you think he has. Don't beat up the messenger. Take it to Jesus. Sort it out with Him.
I am telling you now, as I have told you in the past, that people who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Hello again, just popping in. Looks like I have about 300 pages to catch up on haha
Meanwhile why not cite the book of Isaiah?

Isaiah 52:3

For this is what the LORD says: "You were sold for nothing, and without money you will be redeemed."

And yet it is you who rejects God's Word to defend your ancient religious traditions.

7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

The Pharisees created their own Law and Paul followed it perfectly before Jesus exposed the Law he followed as "Commandments of Man" and not the Laws of God.

I understand you can't accept this because it is the truth. Paul's one sentence does not make a Jesus a liar. You are free to preach that it does, Jesus warned that you would. But your ancient religious traditions do not nullify the Word's of Jesus, as my Messiah, or His Word's as God of the Old Testament. No matter how many times you deflect or insult others, you are the one preaching the lie here, not Jesus.
Blah blah blah nothing of value comes from your working for sad joke religion....same garbage Cain pushed

Well I'm done for. The cross was all for nothing. I have no works. None. I've never done ANYTHING. I have nothing I would be proud to wag in Jesus face and say "hey look! I DID THIS! aren't you proud of me?"

I had better get busy in the latter part of my life.
No worries......those who push works and embellish faith with works for will not make the final cut......Jesus identifies them as the plenteous in number......

i didnt expect an apology for your false accusation....

another false accusation

followed by a shame tactic based on a lie

Gods word will last forever

you dont decide what recovers from what

and i am looking forward to His return

Isaiah
40 Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.

2 Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the Lord's hand double for all her sins.

3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

4 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:

5 And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

6 The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field:

7 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the Lord bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass.

8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

9 O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!

10 Behold, the Lord God will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

11 He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.
Amen......his words do not quite match his game......and or false dogma
