Greetings to all.
This is one long heated argument. Hello, Rgm, I'm sure u have been told over and over that the "Him" was Jesus.
But, I see the problem here. You are having divided faith in Jesus. I've had lukewarm thoughts about God, back then when I was younger, that time some teacher was filling our heads with scientific 'theories' about the world's creation and stuff. But thank God, I snapped out soon after. I know u r upset about d atmosphere towards u here. Sry, abt dat. (Hey, guys in d forum. When u come across a person with a confused spirit. Answer his questions with patience. Being cold is not encouraging at all).
Rgm, u should know that every word spoken from d Lord's mouth is true. The Bible is a book of perfect Truth. U only please God by believe all (not some) of His Words. Doubting his words is actually a sin. Brother, maybe it is situations in your life that brought about questions. But, everything in that Book is true. It would help if u gave us reasons to think otherwise.

The Him is Jesus Christ. Jesus was God, is God, will forever be God, however, he had to be made into the form of man to come to earth. So, yes, God made God. God being triune, (three-in-one) this is possible and it truly happened.

Was Jesus sin? Personally, no! BUT go back to the Law of the two goats, where one is sacrificed for the sins of the nation that entire year and the other one everyone laid their hands on to take on their sins, before it was let loose and kicked out of the nation.

That was a shadow of what Jesus did. He who never sin, took on all the sins of his people. All of them. So, yes, he was sin. Nothing much left of him at that moment except for sin, so he was sin.

I sin because I'm a sinner.

I'm not God, so what I do isn't what God does. And who I am isn't who God is.

I sin because I'm a sinner. Jesus never sinned, and yet took on the sins of whosoever will believe. Big difference.

Who gave you the right to question God’s word and pick which verses are legit and which are not? If one verse is not true, then we can’t trust the whole bible.
