Let's say that you came to a city where there was no church/congregation that you would want to worship at.
Then you decided to start a congregation with others in a rented building.
And you would say that you wanted to follow the Bible example of what the congregation should be like.
What would you do?
Join with a denomination or remain as an independent congregation?
Have elders/bishops to make decisions independently, or call a headquarters, or an archbishop?
Would you toss out the traditions of men and just go by the Bible, or keep to the rituals of the past?
What kind of congregation would you end up with if you just followed the example of the Bible?
---------
For many years the Bible was not available to most people.
Then when it began to be translated and printed, people realized that the RCC was not following the Bible (Martin Luther).
As people broke away from the RCC, they tried to get closer to the truth about Jesus and His church/kingdom.
At first the groups were not very different from the RCC,the main problem, and even today,is the authority of the Bishop of Rome (BoR) Vatican.
Over time groups began to abandon the traditions of the RCC and came closer to the simplicity of the early congregations.
Now we don't need denominations, or head quarters to tell people what to believe, we can go by the Bible.
----------
There are many different groups of Christians with different names worshiping in spirit and truth.
It's your personal relationship with God that is most important.
Some variations should be expected.
But if you go by the Bible, most things should be the same.

What kind of congregation would you have?
What name would you put on the sign outside?
Would you join a denomination or remain independent?
What would you do?
