I mind why sabbatarian like SDA not kill sabbath violator, while bible instruct it
Numbers 15:Now while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks on the Sabbath day. 33 And those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the congregation. 34 They put him under guard, because it had not been explained what should be done to him.35 Then the Lord said to Moses, “The man must surely be put to death; all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside the camp.” 36 So, as the Lord commanded Moses, all the congregation brought him outside the camp and stoned him with stones, and he died.

Is there any verse cancel this verse above?

That is vile and in line with everything else. There is nothing to cancel it until we come to the teaching of Jesus who came down from heaven (John 6:38) and gave the people a new commandment to love one another (John 13:34).

to my knowledge, sabbath mean rest.

Jesus say,

Matthew 11:28 King James Version (KJV)

28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

real rest is when we come to Jesus.
Yes we should come to Jesus and find rest, and we should find rest in Jesus all the time.
Because i have rest in Jesus, can i steal your car? can i take the Lords name in vain? Can i forget the sabbath day?

Gen 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
Gen 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

God didn't need to rest but He gave us this day as a gift to come and rest with Him. He sanctified it and has commanded us to keep it because He loves us, just like He commanded Adam and eve not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. They disobeyed and sinned. It is for your Good to obey the 4th commandment and the other 9.

Why does the Holy Spirit speaking through Paul call them a ministration of death? ((re: 2 Cor. 3:7))
Disobedience to the law whether it be the law of Moses (before Christ) or the ten commandments = sin and sin = death.

Sin is the transgression of the law. The law is what points out that we are sinners. Sin = death

Rom 7:8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.
Rom 7:9 For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.
Rom 7:10 And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.
Rom 7:11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.
Rom 7:12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
Rom 7:13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.
Rom 7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

The Law says, the man who does these things will live by them: but all under the law are condemned under it. Grace is not like this: but all are shut up under sin so that He may show Himself merciful to all!

The Canaanite's were going peacefully about their everyday life until Moses invaded and committed genocide.
Bridgeway Bible Dictionary

Conquest of Canaan
Though all the Canaanite peoples were religiously and morally corrupt, God gave them ample time to repent before he finally executed his judgment upon them. It was several hundred years from the time God warned of judgment to the time the judgment actually fell. Only when the Canaanites’ wickedness had gone beyond the limits that God’s tolerance allowed did God command the Israelites to destroy them and possess their land (Gen 15:16; Deu 7:1-5; 20:17-18).

"all things are lawful for me"

praise God!!!
"Everything is permissible for me—but not everything is beneficial" (1 Corinthians 6:12)

Notice the quotes. Paul is not saying this, it was a common saying among the elite of the day. They were quoting Plato and and Paul is quoting the Corinthians who lived in "sin city" as Corinth was known. They were saying immorality was permissible. Paul of course set them straight.

“Question: How prove you that the church had power to command feasts and holydays?

“Answer: By the very act of changing the Sabbath into Sunday, which Protestants allow of and therefore they fondly contradict themselves by keeping Sunday strictly, and breaking most other feasts commanded by the same church.

“Answer: Had she not such power, she could not a done that in which all modern religionists agree with her; -she could not have substituted the observance of Sunday the first day of the week, for the observance of Saturday the seventh day of the week, a change for which there is no Scriptural authority.”

I stopped reading lgfs posts a long time ago, and I apologize for reneging on what I had been convicted of & foolishly reading a few of the shorter ones recently.
I read all his posts because some of his EG White garbage should be confronted and because his outright lies and distorted truths should be confronted; but I usually don't respond to him directly.

Scripture says that God commanded Israel to destroy them. If you choose to set your opinions above Scripture, anything and everything you say becomes worthless just because you said it.

I know the God of the Jews told them to destroy the people. This is the problem.

let ponder it dear

sabbath mean rest

who ever come to Jesus get rest

can you come to Jesus and not get rest?

if you say yes, than you accused Jesus as a liar

it mean when you come to Jesus, automatically you observe sabbath/rest every day, dear

Scripture says that God commanded Israel to destroy them. If you choose to set your opinions above Scripture, anything and everything you say becomes worthless just because you said it.
Rom 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

There are 2 extremes and Satan doesn't mind if you are going to either side.
Legalism - like the Pharisees that made the keeping of the law there salvation.
Grace does away with the law (what do i call this extreme) - Where you say there is no Law because keeping the law is works and our works count for nothing.

Rom 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

Paul explains it well. We have become dead to the Law because Christ has taken our place and taken our punishment.
The law doesn't have a case against us if we have Christ as our representative.
But He doesn't say to not keep the law and make it void. He tells us to serve it.

Rom 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. (One of the Ten Commandments)
Rom 7:8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.
Rom 7:12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
Rom 7:22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

Paul is saying not to keep the law to be saved because we all fail and are condemned to death by the law.
Rom 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
Rom 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Rom 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
Rom 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

How is the righteousness of the Law fulfilled in us?
If i walk after the Spirit, and I’m Spiritually minded I’ll delight in the Law like Paul.
If Christ dwells in me He will keep the Law in me and I’m not keeping it to be saved or disobeying the law by grace.

Righteousness = Obedience to The law of God
righteousness by faith = ?????? By faith
