Some might argue that we should always rejoice through our sufferings. But sometimes it boils down to that life is just a bunch of let downs, rejections and failures. So. Here is the thread where you can list all the sad, self pitying complaints you might have.
 
Oh pitty me. I have a zit om my nose, and am too ashamed to leave the house.

Pity me, because I can't get out of my house.
 
Pity ME because I just had a log-jam of Thread Mashup ideas using this thread title, and now my brain hurts.

I'm going to go to the Thread Mashups thread and get some of them out.
 
Pity me, for not being able to lend Tommy my fingers so he could count to twenty.
 
Pity me for not having American heart burn meds at my local drug store.
 
Pity me it's 4:40 PM and I haven't eaten anything today...
