Mormons do not say that Jesus was just a good man. He is ONE among MANY gods, in fact they consider that Lucifer is a god too, and so is his Brother, Jesus.

Jerald and Sandra Tanner, were raised in the Mormon Church, and were later converted to Christianity. They began a ministry where they reached out to Mormons, to share the TRUTH about God and the MANY Errors in Mormonism. After her husband died, she continued the Ministry. This Pamphlet was around since at least the early 80s, and was converted to Computer format, and is entitled "TERMINOLOGY DIFFERENCE". READ THROUGH THIS PAMPHLET FIRST, before you go to the attached video. WHEN YOU SEE THE "TERMINOLOGY DIFFERENCE" that the TANNERS had first hand knowledge of, you will know that the video on by Jeremiah Films is telling you the TRUTH. With this first hand knowledge you will see that the Mormon Church is an Anti-christ religion, or as they like to call themselves the "Ladder Day Saints".

Terminology Differences (Main)

Jeremiah Films has been putting out Christian based editorials and films.

Wikipedia: "Jeremiah Films is a media production and distribution company. The organization was founded by Patrick Matrisciana in 1978. As of 2012, they are based in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Jeremiah Films produces videos that the group says "promote patriotism, traditional values, and the Biblical worldview of [the] founding fathers"[SUP][1][/SUP] of the United States. It has produced films that investigate subjects as varied as terrorism, paganism, evolution, Mormonism, Seventh-day Adventism, abortion, Halloween, Islam, Christianity, Cults, the occult, Jim Jones, Jehovah's Witness,
. . .

Another noteworthy title is The God Makers film, released in 1982, along with its sequel The God Makers II released five years later."

Here is their opening credits from the https://shop.jeremiahfilms.com/about/

"Celebrating over 30 years in the field of video communication, Jeremiah Films continues to lead the way as an effective creator of hard hitting, life changing motion pictures. Through its high standards of excellence, Jeremiah Films has impacted the world with its production and distribution of intelligent, innovative, and thought provoking films, videos, books, and music. The founder and president of Jeremiah Films is award winning motion picture producer Patrick Matrisciana, whose success has made him a much sought after radio and television talk show guest."

Now here is the Video by Jeremiah Films, "Part 1, The Beliefs of Mormonism".

But the Title has been changed to: (NOT the original Title)

Banned Mormon Cartoon - EXTENDED VERSION

However, what they do not tell you, is it was Banned ONLY in Utah for Mormon believers:

If you read carefully they claim God and Jesus are 2 different men who attained being gods. This contradicts the Bible. That is as far as I need to go. In addition they are a Christian cult defined as such because they use more books on the same level as the Bible. Much of their theology that contradicts the Bible comes from those books.

Ah, baptism. There is a can of worms. There are three modes (or methods) of water baptism used in Christian churches today: immersion (in which the person is completely submerged), affusion (that is, pouring), and aspersion (sprinkling). Different denominations accept only some types. Baptists usually only accept immersion. Absolutely no verses in the Bible define how it is to be done. The argument goes to the root word in Koine Greek. First which word and then it's definition. Round and round the argument goes with no resolution in sight.
Wrong...the word itself, and the picture it portrays and the fact that Jesus was sealed in a tomb settles all arguments and points to the fact that immersion is the only correct method!

How hard is it to understand the words....NOT BY WORKS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS WHICH WE HAVE DONE, but ACCORDING TO HIS MERCY HAS HE SAVED US!

I mean serious.....it is not that difficult to grasp or understand! Out RIGHTEOUS works have NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT HAS SAVED US (PAST TENSE)

This entire thread has already been reported as Hostile, unfruitfull, barren, and so forth.

If a moderator or administrator desires to do what is right and best for everyone visiting this board.

Then the thread will be closed.

I would say that evidently the moderator(s) have no problem with this thread seeing that it has gone on for as long as it has. We all have a choice, take it or leave it. No one is forced to post nor to read this thread. Actually, I have found this thread to be enlightening.

I have already given countless warnings to everyone reading about dcon.

To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder and a witness of Christ’s sufferings who also will share in the glory to be revealed: 2 Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; 3 not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. 4 And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.

5 In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,

“God opposes the proud
but shows favor to the humble.”

Please, if you are an elder, why do you seek to destroy a believer's character? Yes, God does oppose the proud and shows favor to the humble.

Your posts on this thread, which you say should be closed, show no humbleness but does put forth a bit of character assassination.

Hi Endoscopy, given your background; You are 72yrs old, Saved in 1954, you were raised a Christian, appointed as an Elder and Deacon in the Reformed Church in America. Your theology is Reformed, (Calvinist). And all of this is public knowledge directly from your, "About Me", profile.

My statement is; you should have an understanding of most of the questions you are asking; such as; Quote: (About Baptism); "Absolutely no verses in the Bible define how it is to be done."-- (a false statement). As an Elder/Deacon you should know that Jesus is our example of all things spiritual and biblical, however, you should be teaching me given your qualifications. An Elder, (overseer), should be an; "able teacher" 1Timothy3:2

The Baptism of Jesus: (Our example), Matthew3:16,17
16) "
As soon as Jesus was baptized, "He went up out of the water.", At that moment heaven was opened,
and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him.
17) And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”

Yes, and people get fooled by "they are just good people", and my grandson is one of them. The use Christian terms, but they DO NOT MEAN WHAT WE MEAN BY THOSE TERMS. It is the Biggest psuedo-christian cult that I know of. You would think that they call Jesus and Lucifer Brothers, would scare everyone from joining them, bit is grows bigger every year.

Say that this does happen...
What's to stop anyone from making a similar thread?
I myself have in the past made a similar thread and others have too with a different turn on things or in an opposite way,it won't change anything as some suggested you can simply make your own thread even "in your favor" possibly,if you so wish, many have done so and it makes for interesting discussion this thread has stayed due to "popularity" of sorts on "both sides" of the salvation spectrum and so long as people "find it popular" it will continue on simple really.

Exactly why Jesus states that the PLENTEOUS in NUMBER (MANY) will come before him claiming their right to enter based upon their works in his name.....
