I honestly think with all the hollywood garbage we produce, all the decadence we have, all the drugs we have, all the abortions we have, all the corruption and the Federal reserve we have, that God is going to bring judgement upon America like he has with all countries whose sin reaches the Heavens. When nations sin in the bible they never last long. Our sin is especially bad because we have so many churches and the Gospel, telling us the way we should live and many become atheists and ignore it.

I'm thinking in the next 10-20 years it will happen. Whether it be an attack by Russia + China, another depression, or something.

Is America Babylon from Rev 17-18?

Is God going to judge America for her sins? Or will she be judged with the rest of the world?

What do you think?

I find the notion that people are eager to see an area judged is a bit sad. If that is the case that will mean the deaths of numerous people. You're WISHING death on someone for being how you once were. Not sure I see the Godliness in that. God's judgment is not something He revels in but rather something He does with a heavy heart. So why would anyone that follows Him be so eager for it?

More false accusations flying around I see. Where did the OP say or give any hint that he was "eager" for any judgment to happen ? I didn't see that at all in his comments. He simply asked if others thought it might be coming. You, Ugly, just assumed that notion all by yourself and put words in the OP's mouth. He never said what you have accused him of at all.

And yes, I do think it's coming, just no way to know exactly when.

Slow down mate.
I think you will find that Ugly was responding to Lady Bluebug
and not the OP.

And yes I have come across many a gleeful and naïve Christian
publicly calling for the Lord to bring it on.
Millions of men, women, young people, children, babies and the unborn
will perish - perhaps two thirds of the World's population.
It will be terrible beyond imagination.

Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you?
the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.
Amos 5:18
Through the wrath of the LORD of hosts is the land darkened, and the people shall
be as the fuel of the fire: no man shall spare his brother.
Isaiah 9:19
For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea,
and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn
them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
Malachi 4:1
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens
shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat,
the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

I'd think that slavery would have put us in need of judgement from day 1.

I have always wondered if the USA of today is the Babylon concerned for the end times. I find it also ironic that is also a town called Babylon in New York.

Correct me if I should be in error in what I myself am going to say, but I see America of today as a amalgamation of other past cities/nations that have been referenced in the bible, and having characteristics of such places as well, including Sodom, Gomorrah, Egypt, Ninevah.

On top of that, I see other countries not that much different than the USA, just that the USA appears to be the worst. Everyday shootings, level of gang violence, drug addiction, excessive amounts of pornography, more and more perverse content in entertainment, and so on. Speaking of entertainment industry, from my own research, it seems to be reaching to the point that LGBT is being shown in a positive way, and if it is not, then some activist will whinge and complain.

Even here in Australia, there was a time I thought that Australia wouldn't become like the USA as far as violence is concerned, but over the past number years, I have seen Australia becoming like the USA.

You know, one way to tell how family values are like in a given time period, is to see what type of content has been in TV shows that has been made for family members of all ages. Because a lot of the stuff today would not of seen the light of day back in the 80s (for family tv content).

The real sad thing about the USA, is back in the 50s, there was a lot of strong family morals, as far as I know.

I was researching about Earthquakes, and fault lines, in America, and I do know about the New Madrid fault line, but I was amazed to learn that Rodgers Creek and Hayward Faults are both connected to one another. So here is a interesting question, could a extreme force of impact be sufficient to literally divide the USA into 3 if these earthquake fault lines suffered from such a impact?

Read how babylon is described in the bible and then compare that description to America it's uncanny how perfectly they line up

I recall sometime ago reading about Babylon, this is why I have always wondered about USA of today being the equivalent of Ancient Babylon. The descriptions given of Babylon in the past just mirror what the USA is today. And I do know a lot of other people have often asked this very same question.

Question, this Hollywood Walk of Fame, can that be considered some type of "idol worship"? The amount of money people spend just to get their name onto a footpath? Speaking of Hollywood, how many people today look up to the celebrities like idols? How many people want to be like them?

There are consequences for incurring God's wrath:

https://www.biblestudytools.com/dictionary/wrath-of-god/

God's wrath imposed great suffering for injustices to the poor in the city of Sodom ~ Ezekiel 16:48-59 and to the nation of Israel for its injustices to the poor as per the Book of Amos. However, in the New Testament we are promised, "God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ" as per I Thessalonians 5:9.

This is a nation of many great Christians as evidenced by the many good people on this forum. I believe we may be spared any such wrath because of it.

As far as idol worship goes in the bible days it was speaking mainly of worshiping actual stone idols but the same can also be equated to worshiping people.

That's a bit wide-eyed and innocent. But wrong.
This verse applies to only those who are alive in the gospel preached by
Jesus and the Apostles.
The gospel embraced by the first church described and taught in Acts and
the epistles.

Good people outside this new Spirit-filled Covenant will not be spared from
the wrath and the horror that is coming upon the whole Earth.
There are two types of people in this world right now - the saved and
the unsaved.

He already has He's called Donald Trump. Which proves God has a sense of Humour even when it comes to judgement.
