Wouldn't you think that it should be mandatory to believe specific Scripturally verifiable facts about Jesus Christ before one could consider themselves a bona fide Roman Catholic, rather than specific facts about Mary that cannot be proven with Scripture? The Bible was not written to reveal Mary to us, after all.

That is a sign of Mary's humility. Jesus as God did not elevate Mary above others. But Jesus as God made man likely followed most children in holding His mother in the highest regard. And we see in Luke 1:28 (KJV) that God, the Father, deemed her worthy of being in a state of grace, even if she did not: “And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.”

The first thing Catholic children are taught is the Apostle's Creed. Those who attend Catholic schools are also taught the Catholic Catechism. You can find it at: Catechism of the Catholic Church - Table of Contents. The first sections focus on what Catholics should believe about God, including Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. It's quite comprehensive.
In addition to the Catholic Church, most mainstream Protestant denominations also have their own catechisms.

You point to what they "should" believe, whereas the infallible dogmas concerning Mary are MANDATORY.
Were you raised in a Catholic school system? Even if you were, I highly doubt there is some enforced cookie-cutter teaching blueprint Catholic schools must follow, as if there were no variations among what is taught, and when, in Catholic schools all over the world.
So catholic believe about God. It can be anything. If catholic follow His teaching than it is specifically mean only pray to Jesus.
believe about God can mean only believe that there is God, I just talk to non Christian and He say believe about God, but he believe, Muslim and Christian and Hindu etc worship the same God but in different name. So he believe Allah and Jesus is the same person.
But catholic and Christian worship different God in the same name, that is more cunning.
Unfortunately that is not enough. Truly adhering to the Apostles Creed would mean turning away from false doctrine and idols.
If they adheres to the apostles creed, why they pray to Mary, Peter, and hundreds more death?

News flash #1: When "God" is translated into Arabic, it is "Allah." When Arabic Christians pray to God, they pray to "Allah." When "God" is translated into French, it is "Dieu." When "God" is translated into Spanish, it is "Dios." When "God" is translated into Icelandic, it is "Guð." Are you suggesting these countries are not worshipping God because the word is different from English?

I hate to burst your insular little bubble, but Jesus is God. He is part of the triune God made up of God, the Father, Jesus, the Son of God, and God, the Holy Spirit.
News flash #3: Catholics are also Christians. They worship only God. And they accept Jesus in their hearts as the Saviour.

Your "Catholics worship idols" nonsense is getting very old. Catholics do not worship idols. And that fact is acknowledged by all mainstream Protestant denominations. You remember, they were the churches that emerged from the Protestant Reformation (1517-1685).

Protestant theology defends all things written in the law and the prophets(sola scriptura) no oral traditions of men as the things of men .It is the reforming authority in any generation .Its what the Catholic must resist with all their heart soul and might so that they can seek the approval of men seen, rather than the Holy Spirit not seen.
Its not agreeing or disagreeing with the private interpretation of men(Catholic or Protestant) . Every man or denomination called a sect, a word that comes from the word heresy has a opinion what they think God's interpretation the Bible to us is saying .
Catholics must go above all things written in the law and the prophets or their foundation built on sand will crumble... down comes the lying Queen of heaven that they have named Mary.
But those who would add another source as those who go above that which is written (sola scriptura) hate all thongs written in the law and the prophets .It shows them as another Christ, another gospel which is not really good news at all. To a Catholic the skies the limit and even if proven wrong Mother Mary is happy the air ways remain open to add to their false authority by their oral tradition, as commandments of men that do make the word of God without effect. Christ called them a brood of vipers for a reason
That above as a law of the Catholic fathers is just like the private revelation defined by Pope Urban below .They both attempt to make the word of God(sola scriptura) to no effect so that they can Lord it over the faith of other. Faith does not come by hearing men as if they were in the place of the promised Holy Spirit.

Yes full of God's grace .Not after the corrupted flesh of Mary who no longer has any part here under the sun (she is sleeping just like the other saints that have had their sin atoned for in full .
He does not give partial down payment of a unknown amount of grace then say suffer to suffer to gain that which is lacking for an undermined time . The Catholic make the grace of God without effect.... so that they can glory in their own flesh .

Ignoring that all issues outside of the creed is agree to disagree. They don't worship idols. They use pictures and statues as aids in worship.
In point of fact only one time has a pope spoken ex cathedra. That pronouncement was very Biblical. Popes avoid it like a plague. They know their limitations. One thing the Catholic Church has is immunity from a secular takeover that has befallen the 7 largest protestant denominations. Think and investigate before you rant. I have several issues of disagreements with the Catholic Church. That doesn't make them evil.
They prayed to dead people that they call Saints. Outside of the fact that that is not scriptural they think As if they know And can judge as God.
