I really haven't felt with it today. Seems like everyday and each week is basically the same for me. I believe that I'm ready for a change or something. It feels like that I'm stagnating and going nowhere.

Sounds like you need a new hobby or ministry.

Hopefully, I will be retiring in a year or two so I'm not overly concerned about where I work at the moment. I do try to serve God well in my job by setting a good example and being kind to the people that I work with. I am still happily married although I still have work to do in this area. I talk to God all day long and He is a good friend to me even though I'm not always the best friend for Him. Maybe I am reaching a point now in my life and wondering where do I go from here? Also, I do have occasional depression but thankfully it is not debilitating. I enjoy this thread very much and it warms my heart to see the joy in all of the peeps. I guess that there is a lot of time that there is no joy in my heart for one reason or another.

I have found that attending 2 good men's Bible studies each week has helped my attitude a great deal. I wonder if you might be missing the "communion" of the saints?

Well hey, only God knows what is best for you right brother. I was at a point in my life 4 years ago where I absolutely had no idea what I was doing or where I was heading. But I got the conviction from the Holy Spirit to cast everything onto him, including these thoughts. When I did, and when I surrendered to God, He showed me what He wanted and not what i wanted. It humbled me :)

Here’s the principle of sowing and reaping: Whenever you have a need, you plant a seed. Whatever it is you need - more time, more energy, more money, more support, more relationships, more wisdom - just plant a seed. If you need more time, give more time to your wife or friends. If you need more money, give it away to someone who needs it. If you need more wisdom, share what wisdom you have with others. Give yourself away!

It may not make sense to you to give away something that you need more of, but that is exactly the kind of attitude that God wants to bless and that will produce fruit in your life. When you have a need, don’t gripe about it, don’t wish about it, and you don’t even have to pray about it - just plant a seed!

Tour-bus-driver AKA (Tourist) - allow me to ask you - (if I might):

*For what need have you been waiting on God to provide? It may be you will need to pray about this to see what God is wanting you to need...and then you can see how that differs from what you really want contrary to Him. Honesty is important here. This is convo time with God.:)..

*What do you think God might be waiting on you to do about that need? Thru spiritual intuitiveness communications and not mindfully first. What seed can you plant today? But the issue is what seed will God enable you to plant if you have faith He can and will enable you as you do what He makes clear for you to do?

*What kind of effects do you see in yourself and others when you plant a seed and give of yourself? Allow this to be an encouragement from God Himself for He has done many things in and thru you to date..

*What kind of character do you think God wants to build in you? You know this one like the back of your hand, but it is when it applies to our lives - we must battle to be humble and pliable, we must allow God to re- plow our fields again for seeds to be planted in us by God and there is no shame in that, only acceptance that we move onward and upward in Him.

I will pray for you Brother. We love you here ya know!! Seriously!

I'm having a great morning thank you sweet one! I've had an omelette with spinach, onion, cherry tomatoes and garlic - on toast - with a cuppa. Have been enjoying some quiet time with the Lord. I just love Him so! How about you dear one?

Ahhhhhhhhh.........the sweet whispers of love dance off the pages and caress your very soul.......oh, yes, I am familiar with what you say.........secret, sweet early manna.....there is no other so life giving....when the dew is gone, it is gone. Sad but true. He pours out to the early risers and seekers - those He satisfies. :)

Well of course renewed_hope - Mrs. Peabody will pull up a chair and I will serve a special coffee with dark textured rich flavor and a overtone of palatable remembrances. Coffee to be cherished with friends....
