What, exactly, has been refreshed? What, exactly, has been restored? This world is in terrible shape, and is getting worse.

And once they start, the times of refreshing and restoration will not go on forever. Christ's millennial kingdom on this earth will be a wonderful place to be.
Our connection to God. It was lost in the garden. We no longer have to "sleep" in Hades and rest. We immediately get to go to heaven when we die. The restoration has nothing to do with bugs, weeds, and evil people on this planet. Christ's millennial kingdom is alive and well in heaven and on earth right now and you are in it. This teaching is clear in John and other places. We are not citizens of this earth (even though we live here now). We are citizens of heaven.

It's true that Jesus Christ made the Christian new birth available.

Not true. The definition of death did not change with the work of Jesus Christ. The grave is still the grave, and that is where people go when they die. When Christ does return (which did not happen in 70AD), the dead in Christ will be raised from the dead.

The restoration has nothing to do with bugs, weeds, and evil people on this planet.
It does in part. This earth will be "made new". All the destruction man has done to this planet will be fixed. "Deserts will bloom", etc. This earth will become a paradise. Animal nature will be changed. People will no longer get sick (although in the kingdom, natural people will still procreate, and die).

Christ's millennial kingdom is alive and well in heaven and on earth right now and you are in it. This teaching is clear in John and other places.
We are not in the kingdom yet. It does not exist yet. Jesus Christ will set it up when he returns.

In one sense, EVERYTHING is part of the kingdom of God. He is responsible for creating everything.

But in many places in the Bible, Kingdom of God, Kingdom of Heaven, and the millennial kingdom all mean the same thing.

One example where the "kingdom of God" specifically refers to the coming millennial kingdom is:

Luke 13:
28) There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

There are many more..

That kingdom is not here yet.

Jesus said "My kingdom is not of this world" at His first coming. What we presently have is not the Kingdom Age but the Church Age.

Once the Church is raptured, and the world is judged, Christ will literally, physically, and visibly establish His Kingdom on this earth, with the saints reigning with Him. It will begin with the Millennium and continue as the eternal Kingdom of God.

"Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place."
J 18:36 NIV

What about this view:

In ancient Israel, the kingdom of God was "of this world", it was physical. But now, the kingdom of God is not from this world, its from another place, spiritual (and will stay in this way forever).

The question is, how to see the use of "now". If as an indication of temporal state or as an indication of something new, a change, a differentiation from the old state.

I am 73 and since my late teens have studied eschatology off and on till now. The definitive conclusion I have come to is I am pan mil. It will all pan out in the end. Eschatological books especially Daniel are closed until the end times. Therefore although the end might be near it isn't here yet. Therefore it is all a guessing game.
Have fun guessing.

Serious omens have and are occurring. An eclipse crossed across the US and in 2024 another eclipse will diagonally cross the US making an X. It will touch 7 cities named Salem. In the 1950s the US was a Christian country but since the 1880s the protestant denominations came under attack with secular ministers moving to take control of the 7 sisters denominations. Gary North wrote Crossed Fingers documenting the complete takeover of Presbyterian USA by secular ministers by 1932. All 7 have fallen to secular ministers in order to have access to the church funds. Presbyterian USA refused to defrock a minister that stated from the pulpit he didn't believe in Jesus.

At present there are sub denominations that still preach the gospel. Go to one of the 7 sisters churches and see if you hear the gospel message.

Deade,

"I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take courage; I have overcome the world!” - John 16:33

What you are claiming above is an on-going error that many make regarding the time of God's wrath. The tribulation that is being described above is referring to the tribulation that comes from the testimony of Christ and the word of God. However, what is quickly approaching is the wrath of God, which is not the same as the trials and tribulation that Jesus said believers would have. The difference is that, trials and tribulation come at the hands of mankind and the powers of darkness as a result of our faith in Christ, where as God's coming wrath, which is the day of the Lord, will be God's direct wrath being poured out upon the earth via the seals, trumpets and bowl judgments. It is the latter that believers are not appointed to suffer.

Regarding God's coming wrath, the word of God states that believers are not appointed to suffer God's wrath, that Jesus rescues us from the coming wrath and that the Lord would keep us out of that time of wrath (Rom.5:9, I Thes.1:10, 5:9, Rev.3:10). The underlying principle is that, Jesus already suffered God's wrath on behalf of every believer, satisfying it completely. Those in Christ have been credited with righteousness and have been reconciled to God and therefore, the wrath of God no longer rests upon them. God's wrath does however rest upon those who have not believed - John 3:36

In short, by your quoting John 16:33, you are confusing the common trials and tribulation that Jesus said believers would have because of our faith in Him, with the coming wrath of God. You are not making a distinction between the two.

To keep us from God's time of wrath, according to His promise in John 14:1-3 and 1 Thes.4:13-18, the Lord will return to gather His church to take us back to the Father's house, removing us from the earth prior to the first seal being opened which initiates God's wrath.

This is a little Long Ahwatukee but please read to the end for some of this is for you.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior,

I have something to apologize for concerning the prediction of the Temple Mount agreement and ground breaking occurring in May 2018.

I apologize for this, an act of Omission and I am responsible for this alone.

At the time I was told this would occur in May of 2018 it was approximately 6 to 8 months prior to May of 2018 and the percentage that this was going to happen was so high that I asked the Angel if I could use this for a 'Sign' concerning what I wrote about Revelation chapter 12 verse 1 and the Rapture of the Church was true.

I was told by the Angel that yes at that time I could but remember this;
Angels are NOT God almighty and see the future in terms of percentages because of the factor of Human Free Will is involved. Because of this the Future is somewhat Fluid except where God himself specifically dictates.

Examples of God's will being delayed By Human Free-will are these:
1) Solomon's building of the First Temple. He delayed the building of the Temple Mount because he was too occupied with the building of his own House first.
2) The building of the Second Temple was delayed due to the Jews in Jerusalem at the time meeting resistance from the local Rulers as stated in the Book of Ezra.
3) The Jews Rejection of Jesus as the Messiah has delayed the Kingdom of God for a period of time. Thankfully this was foreseen by God and planned for the Salvation of the Gentiles also. This also was Human Free-Will for which the Jews have no defense.

Now for what I am apologizing for.
This Angel told me about 2 weeks before May of 2018 that the percentages of this event happening were deteriorating dramatically and that this would probably not occur in May of 2018 as told earlier to me by him.

I decided that if this was going to be a "Sign" from God then it would occur no matter what we as humans did. I essentially tried to hold this Angel's feet to the fire when he was clearly telling me this would not going to happen. I had no right to do this.

Also, because of my pride, I would not write that he had told me this because I did not want to appear to be backing off of what I wrote about May 2018. I decided to let the Bullets fly and let the Blood lie where it may.

For this I am personally Apologizing for. I should have retracted this in mid April when I learned of this. This is a fault of my own Pride and Not the fault of the Angel in any way, shape or form. What he saw 6 to 8 months ago was true at that time when he told it to me.

Now Ahwatukee, this is for you.

I've read where you stated that Revelation 12:1 could not be a physical heavenly sign. You used Joseph's dream as an example and here you are in error in 2 ways;
1) Joseph's dream was an interpretation of his dream of the future events concerning him given to him by God. NOT a Heavenly Sign.
2) Joseph's dream had 11 Stars not like Revelation 12:1 which has 12 Stars. They are not the Same.

Also read Luke 21:11 and see what Jesus himself declares about the signs in the Heavens. Heck Ahwatukee, Jesus' Birth was declared by a sign in Heaven was it not?

As I agreed I will take myself off of Christianchat and post no more.
As I have said I recant the May 2018 prediction.
As agreed I have apologized to my Brothers and Sisters in Jesus Christ.

Now for what I can NOT do.

I was told that the November 22, 2065 is the date for the Revelation 12:1 sign. I was told that the Rapture of the Church would occur in a time frame 60 days before and maybe including November 22 itself. This is 100 percent going to happen because this was given from God to this Angle to tell me. It will happen as stated. This is the truth and I can NOT Recant the Truth!

Now I know my reputation is Shot and I'm OK with that.
This now makes this a matter of faith. Believe it or not as you are able to receive it.
Let me be proved a Liar and God's word Stand Forever True!

Peace to All in Jesus Christ.

Shrume,

<Not true. The definition of death did not change with the work of Jesus Christ. The grave is still the grave, and that is where people go when they die. When Christ does return (which did not happen in 70AD), the dead in Christ will be raised from the dead.>

What you don't realize is that as of 70 AD only our earthly bodies go in the ground to decay and rot away, but we immediately go to heaven and receive our spiritual bodies. We do not need the resurrection as it was for those who died prior to 70 AD. Prior to 70 AD, the souls of the dead all went to Hades while the spirit returned to God. So, it is the soul that was refreshed in 70 AD at the presence of the Lord. Our earthly bodies both before and after 70 AD remain in the ground, returning to dust. Paul teaches this clearly in several places such as 1 Cor 15. Not one molecule of our flesh body goes to heaven.

<It does in part. This earth will be "made new". All the destruction man has done to this planet will be fixed. "Deserts will bloom", etc. This earth will become a paradise. Animal nature will be changed. People will no longer get sick (although in the kingdom, natural people will still procreate, and die).>

Sorry Shrume, not so. The "new earth" does not apply to the planet earth, rather it applied to Israel. Animal nature does not change. Nothing of our physical planet changes. People will still get sick and die. You are miss-applying the imagery of Isa 65 no doubt. The end of Isa 65 using figures of speech to relate a time of peace which followed the devastation of Jerusalem which the chapter was all about. People still die.

<We are not in the kingdom yet. It does not exist yet. Jesus Christ will set it up when he returns.>

Oh, you are so wrong. Christ brought the kingdom with Him when He returned in 70 AD and spiritually gathered the Elect into it. Christ now dwells within us when we accept Him, that is the kingdom entering us. We are the temple of Christ right now!! This is a big change from how things were prior to 70 AD. During the time Christ was gone when He ascended, He sent His helper, the Holy Spirit, at Pentecost and they were to wait for the HS and not leave Jerusalem. Thus through the HS, Christ was with them even until the end of their age which came in 70 AD. What a huge departure from how things were in the OT. We are all part of a kingdom that will never be destroyed and will last forever. The only thing left is when we die, we enter the spiritual realm but are still with the Trinity and we shall reign on earth with them. Heaven is Christ's throne and earth is His footstool.

<That's true. Christians salvation is assured. We will be in the kingdom when it gets here.>

You have all the powers of the kingdom right now at your disposal, you just need to have the faith to invoke these powers. This is an area I also need to improve upon, that is to take control of evil spirits and exercise authority over them, so that I will be more effective for the kingdom for which we dwell. It's sad that you don't realize the kingdom is already here but the teaching is clear that Christ set it up during the kingdom of Rome in the first century. The spread of Christianity throughout the world is the manifestation of the power of the kingdom at work dominating all other earthly kingdoms/gov'ts.

Actually, Christ brought the kingdom at His Parousia in 70 AD. At His first coming He said that the kingdom was at hand, or near.

See Mat 13 and Mat 16:28 which makes it crystal clear when the kingdom was to come. Mat 21:43 explains that the kingdom was being taken away from apostate Israel (which was falling away) and given to the Christian nations which were to be established over the next 40 years. Christ expands on this idea in Mat 25 when He separates the nations.

Interesting that you believed the first "angel", and he was wrong, but you believe the second "angle" is telling you the truth.

WHENEVER people start setting dates for the rapture, you know that it will NOT happen on that date.

The rapture could happen today, tomorrow, a week, a month, a year, 10 years, or a century or more from now. We simply do not know. This includes you.

It is my personal opinion that I could live to see it, but it's just my opinion, and I can surely be wrong. I'm 65.

But whether it happens in my lifetime or not, I am convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that it will happen.

God has not been bringing any new revelation since the last was given to John when God sealed up the possibility of another. The skies the limit today just believe the signs as lying wonders that the father of lies is bringing..... along with them God sends a strong delusion so that men will believe the lie.

Colossians 2:18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Colossians 2:20 Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,

That was a lesson not to be faithless (no faith) but believe, we walk by faith, the unseen. What we will be or as to what kind of body cerlistrail or terrestrial no one know? We will be like the angels no procreation .No more male or female, Jew nor gentile but an entirely new creation .
In the beginning there were two beginnings?

Roadkill,

I was told by the Angel that yes at that time I could but remember this;
Angels are NOT God almighty and see the future in terms of percentages because of the factor of Human Free Will is involved. Because of this the Future is somewhat Fluid except where God himself specifically dictates.
First of all, an angel truly sent from God, is only going to proclaim what God has given to him to proclaim. A true angel of God will not nor cannot speak anything that is not the truth of God. The angel is representing God and not himself. Therefore, your excuse above is invalid.

Regarding the above, none of those events where given specific dates by God as being concrete and therefore do not apply to what you claimed. May I remind you that you stated the following:

"Now for your verification, here is something to let you know this is from God the Father."

If God told an angel to give you a message that the ground breaking for the new temple was going to take place in May, then that is exactly what would happen and that because it would make God out to be a liar if it did not. The angel is representing God when He brings information.

The way in which the people knew whether or not one who was proclaiming to be a prophet was of God, was whether or not what he claimed was fulfilled. If it wasn't fulfilled, he was a false prophet, because what God says, He will do.

God does not work like this! He is not restricted by what humans do. If He says that ground breaking for the temple is going to take place, then it will take place, period. I told you that what you were claiming was not the truth and that because it did not match the written word of God. Furthermore, with something as monumental as ground breaking for the new temple, the world would have known at least 6 months prior to the specified time.

I've read where you stated that Revelation 12:1 could not be a physical heavenly sign. You used Joseph's dream as an example and here you are in error in 2 ways;
1) Joseph's dream was an interpretation of his dream of the future events concerning him given to him by God. NOT a Heavenly Sign.
2) Joseph's dream had 11 Stars not like Revelation 12:1 which has 12 Stars. They are not the Same.

I assure you, I have not erred in any way and that because, unlike you, I know the word of God.

That is a pretty pathetic attempt on your part to try to make the claim that "Joseph's dream had 11 starts and Rev.12 has 12 stars. So let me make it clear for you:

Twelve stars = eleven of the sons of Jacob, with Joseph being number twelve

The sun, moon and stars are not literal cosmic events, but is how God used that symbolism revealed in Genesis 37:9-10 to identify the nation Israel in Rev.12:

Sun = Jacob

Moon = Wife/wives

Eleven stars = Eleven of Jacobs sons who would bow down to Joseph, with Joseph making it twelve stars.

The woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and wearing a crown of twelve stars represents the nation Israel.

Also read Luke 21:11 and see what Jesus himself declares about the signs in the Heavens. Heck Ahwatukee, Jesus' Birth was declared by a sign in Heaven was it not?
You're unbelievable man! You're not talking to someone who just fell off the turnip truck! I have been studying end-time events for over 40 years.

"There will be great earthquakes, famines, and pestilences in various places, along with fearful sights and great signs from heaven." - Luke 21:11

"And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed in the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head." - Rev.12:

The context will always determine whether something is literal or symbolic. That said, in Luke 21:11 is referring to events that will involve literal events in heaven. Whereas the context in Rev.12:1, the sun, moon and stars are obviously symbolic representing Israel As you will notice, the two scriptures above read completely different demonstrating what is meant to be literal and what is mean to be interpreted as symbolic. You not being able to discern between the two is a red flag.

This is the truth and I can NOT Recant the Truth
You don't learn, do you? You gave us a false prophecy regarding the ground breaking for the temple and you are attempting to claim that the above is still going to take place?

This is 100 percent going to happen because this was given from God to this Angle to tell me.
So was the prophecy regarding the ground breaking that you claimed. And that didn't go too well, did it?

If the angel who was supposedly from God was not correct about the ground breaking for the temple, why would you think that he would be correct regarding Rev.12 and the gathering of the church? Understand this, Rev.12 takes place in the middle of the seven years, which is also well into the majority of God's wrath. Since the scripture has said that believers are not appointed to suffer God's coming wrath and that Jesus rescues us from the coming wrath, then the church must be removed prior to the beginning of that seven years and certainly before the middle of that seven years.

The gathering of the church is not going to take place as you have suggested above and do you know why, because the Lord told us that no one could know the day or hour of his return, and for those looking for His coming to watch and be ready. The Lord's promise to return was imminent with the apostles and the 1st century church and it is imminent now. The only way that we know that the time for the gathering of the church is near, is because we are seeing the stage being set for God to pick up right where He left off with Israel in fulfillment of that last seven years, which cannot begin until after the church has been gathered, according to the Lord's promise of John 14:1-3 and the detailed account of 1 Thes.4:13-17. We also know that the gathering of the church is near, because we seeing the stage being set in regards to the mark of the beast, with the world electronic crediting and debiting system (buying and selling) and the fact that for several years now we have had the technology for sub-dermal chip implants, with one of its functions being to make purchases.

In addition, the building of the temple will not begin until the revealing of the antichrist, which is what his seven year covenant will make possible.

I am amazed that you used the excuses that you did above. At least you could have just said, "I was and am wrong about everything."

By the way, the gathering of the church, dead and living, will not take place over a three day period as you claimed, but is going to be an event that is going to take place faster than the blink of an eye. This event is not for the purpose of giving people who didn't believe in the Lord's promise to see and believe, for all believers are to have been watching and anticipating the Lord's appearing in fulfillment of His promise. Your scenario doesn't require anyone to watch, because they would just have to wait for the dead to rise who according to you, will remain in the air for three days. That's pure baloney! The only way that the world is going to know that the church is gone, will be because there will be millions and millions missing.

I would have respected you more, if you would have just admitted that the angel was not of God and that your claims were all incorrect.

Truly unbelievable!
