Jesus stated in Mat 6.33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

According to Jesus the "FIRST" Priority of mankind is to seek his kingdom and his righteousness . The Golden Question is how do we seek his kingdom and his righteous in a wicked and adulterous generation.

It is not found in a wicked and adulterous generation:

Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.”

Believing in the Gospel of the kingdom is the seeking of the kingdom. That is; believe that Jesus is the Christ, He came in flesh and died for our sins and was raised from the dead. This alone would make a person greatest in the kingdom.

“The hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”. ...

Why do you say " greatest in the kingdom?" The first will be last and the last will be first.

Matt 18:3“Truly I tell you,” He said, “unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4Therefore, whoeverhumbles himself like this little child is the greatest inthe kingdom of heaven.

And John the baptist is the least in the kingdom.

Matt 11:11 Truly I tellyou, among those born of women there has risenno one greater than John the Baptist. Yet even theleast in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

A humble person is one that doesn't claim to know, just the basic belief in Christ.

The first thing is the need to understand the functions and terminology of kingdom. Without knowing this one will not be able to seek it. In short to seek the Kingdom of God is to seek out the rules, rights, and privileges as a citizen (What God says about Kingdom, His ethics and principles) then apply that lifestyle to how we live (righteousness) and fully trust in it.

I found your agenda in What Is The Gospel discussion. You think there is too much attention given to Jesus and the church should instead focus on the coming government system in the millennium. That idea is contrary to the Gospel authors. Matthew writing to prove to the Jews that Jesus is their Messiah, while Mark stressed the humanity of Jesus but he does not neglect His deity. Luke` main theme is the nature of Jesus Christ` messiah ship and mission. John's main them is Jesus is God.

Jesus stated in Luke 4:43 that his purpose was not to die on the cross or give his life for the ransom of many, or spill his blood, but to preach the Kingdom of God.

Luke 4:43 I must go to the other towns also to preach the Kingdom of God, for this is the reason/purpose I have come.

I said to much attention is given to the writings of paul and jesus and his message of the kingdom has been rejected/neglected and disparaged.

forget it

you won't get an honest answer from him

he just either changes what he says or changes what he asks depending on the responses that he gets

he obviously fancies himself a teacher, correcting responses or handing praise when one agrees with him and no doubt this thread is started with, as you say, his actual agenda in mind which did not really fly in the other thread

however, this is not original teaching. he is getting it somewhere, agreeing with it and 'blessing' the forum here but he does not seem to know that this 'kingdom now' message has already been well discussed...no harm in discussing it again...but you get nowhere when trying to talk to someone is like trying to nail jello to the wall :);)
