Don't forget that Jesus was God manifest in the flesh and he often spoke like a man.
Jesus was also called the SON of man, disrobed himself of Glory, took on the form of a servant in the likeness of sinful flesh, called NONE good including himself, was tempted in all points as we are tempted and had moments of weakness...FATHER, if it be possible let this cup pass from me.

Why is it so hard for people to understand the truth.....Jesus said to his saved, immersed, disciples (apostles) that the spirit is indeed willing, but the flesh is weak......

We have a born again, saved, justified spirit that is born of incorruptable seed that is eternally secure in Christ HOUSED in a dead weak body of sin that is not subject unto the word of GOD, the battle ground for control is the mind and if it is NOT transformed (Romans 12) we will struggle with sin, failures etc. our whole life....if it is transformed we will surrender more often than not to the Spirit and walk in a manner that pleases the LORD...NONE are without sin and or failures and JOHN speaks to this and includes himself....

John who walked with JESUS, was an apostle, wrote almost 1/5th of the New Testament, was the disciple who JESUS loved stated clearly....

IF WE say that WE have NO sin, WE are deceived and the truth is NOT IN US. <-----PRESENT TENSE

amen

Hebrews 12
7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

no youre bad for being a sinner

just like everyone else who is not Jesus Christ

that is why you need His imputed righteousness

and your own will not be good enough no matter how much you try

if you are implying anyone here spoke against good works

youre wrong

but if anyone is going to push the false gospel that works aid in their salvation

they will be corrected by anyone who knows the truth

i noticed you stopped quoting my posts and ignored my questions

if you want to continue talking with me

answer them first

the one where i corrected your error in matthew

and the one where you made a silly remark about hebrews

and the one where i addressed your false accusations saying i condemned others

this isnt some game of 20 questions

Seohce, is your caps lock stuck?

Anyhoo, to answer your question, it depends on what "benefits" you're hoping to get from these competitions. Money? Song rights? A record deal? Or to just simply put your music out there, and give any glory from it to God?

lol why do you think He chastens His sons?

you think you get chastened when you obey?

or if you arent His son?

cmon now

open your eyes

HERE'S WHAT HE SAID:

1 John 2 : 3-6
3 We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands.
4 The man who says, "I know him," but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 But if anyone obeys his word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him:
6 Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did.

HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT YOU BELIEVE GOD YET BE DISOBEDIENT?

WAKE UP BRO... DON'T BE DECEIVED.

Romans 3
21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

Romans Chapter 5

1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

3 And not only [so], but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

11 And not only [so], but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

15 But not as the offence, so also [is] the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, [which is] by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

16 And not as [it was] by one that sinned, [so is] the gift: for the judgment [was] by one to condemnation, but the free gift [is] of many offences unto justification.

17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

18 Therefore as by the offence of one [judgment came] upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one [the free gift came] upon all men unto justification of life.

19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:

21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

I know, I also know why The Word became flesh. I find your tone slightly derogatory of my Lord and Saviour. He became man for our sakes and suffered for our sins in our room and stead. Let us have a little more respect, yes.

How is his tone derogatory of Jesus? He suffered more than we could ever imagine, and more than WE will ever suffer, definitely.. He was a complete human with the same emotions and temptations as ours, and at the end He became sin personified and that's why God forsook Him on the cross.

Suffice it to say that our love for others is manifest by the things we do for people.

I totally agree.

I think that should be evident in what I write, however it may not be.

Love is a verb. That alone should be suffient for the one seeking the truth.

Sorry I didn't respond better to your post.
