Welcome back to being able to be with us more...tourist. Good to share with you again. I appreciate your well wishing on Karen and my happiness. It is indeed the moment to live in the now, isn't it, in Christ? And as we live in the now in Christ both Karen and I understand he will establish our steps - I trust you trust Him as well in that, and will be happy for us whatever God's will be in relationship to us. - Amen.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths” (Prov. 3:5-6).
Wherever God puts us, our one great aim is to pour out a whole-hearted devotion to Him.
This is both a comfort and a challenge. There is security in knowing that the Lord will lead us each day, but we must not become so attached to our plans that we resist God’s redirection or His timing. As much as you care for us, we cannot put the weight of peoples expectations of happiness before the joy of the Lord in doing His will - whatever that may be in the future - one way or another.
We have no right to judge where we should be put, or to have preconceived notions as to what God is fitting us for. God engineers everything. Wherever He puts us, our one great aim is to pour out a whole-hearted devotion to Him in that particular relationship and good works.
One thing is to be sure - it is well with our soul in Him - now. And we are well with each other in that. That may be why we like each other so much - well that and her cooking! LOL....
