What you do KNOW is the Catholic Catechism DEFINES the Church BELIEVE, so Priests and Bishops drug in all kinds of false beliefs, that ARE NOT IN THE CATECHISM. Like I said they may be Borderline, but the DEFINITELY are not a psuedo-christian cult. YES, they have members that worship Mary, but that is NOT WHAT THE CHURCH TEACHES.

I had a VERY LONG discussion with the first Born Again Priests, that I met at a steak house, and we sat there in that both for almost 3 hours. At one point in the discussion I asked "Why do you encourage people to pray to Mary and the Saints? Do you know that several Catholics think Mary is going to answer that prayer?" He said, "I know that is true, but THAT IS NOT WAY WE WERE TAUGHT IN SEMINARY. We have done a very poor job of teaching that truth from the Pulpit, and I guess we might force people to leave the Church. So first answer me, do you believe in asking a Christian Brother to pray for you?" I said yes, and I believe it tells us to in the Book of James. The he said, "Yes, but where do you find a verse that tells you to STOP asking that brother to pray for you, when he dies? You see, in seminary, we are taught that praying to Mary and the Saints is a form of intercessory prayer, and that is ALL IT IS."

So, I had to agree, they have done a VERY POOR JOB OF TEACHING THAT FROM THE PULPIT.

That is why once I had a COMPUTER, I went to the VATICAN'S Copy of the Catholic Catechism; I looked up what the CHURCHES POSITION REALLY WAS ON THOSE SEVEN COMMON BELIEFS STATEMENTS, because MANY opinions of what the Churches Position is, were JUST RUMORS.

By the way, YOU surely do believe that the Seven Letters to the Churches were REAL CHURCHES, AND Represents the TYPE of CHURCHES in throughout the Church Age? Notice ONLY TWO of the Seven were Churches that CHRIST had NO CONDEMNATION FOR. Those are the Philadelphia Church which was mission oriented the last AGE, and the Persecuted Church at Smyrna. ALL OF THE OTHER CHURCHES, CHRIST HAS SOMEWHAT AGAINST THEM. Each Church was also the DOMINATE CHURCH that was in the majority for a large number of years throughout the Church Age. AND they were LISTED in the EXACT ORDER THAT THEY BECAME DOMINATE. Now we are almost through the Laodecian AGE, the CHURCH THAT WAS LUKE WARM, and CHRIST said HE WAS ABOUT TO VOMIT IT OUT OF HIS MOUTH. Believe me, that is WORSE than the Catholics. IF I WAS TO GUESS, the Church at PERGAMUM, would be the TYPE of CHURCH that the CATHOLIC CHURCH would be.

Revelation 2:12-16 (HCSB)
12 “Write to the angel of the church in Pergamum: “The One who has the sharp, double-edged sword says:
13 I know where you live—where Satan’s throne is! And you are holding on to My name and did not deny your faith in Me, even in the days of Antipas, My faithful witness who was killed among you, where Satan lives.
14 But I have a few things against you. You have some there who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to place a stumbling block in front of the Israelites: to eat meat sacrificed to idols and to commit sexual immorality.
15 In the same way, you also have those who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans.
16
Therefore repent! Otherwise, I will come to you quickly and fight against them with the sword of My mouth.

Now NOTICE VERSE 15. I did a search for the teachings of the Nicolaitans, and hear is what I found:
I obviously believe the letters were written to true new testament churches...which does not include the Catholic church which came on line some 230 to 250 years AFTER the letters were written....!

Sorry, but you would be only Partially Right.

It is addressed to the CHURCHES, Not to the SEVEN.

Yes, they were REAL CHURCHES with real Problems.

However, PROPHETICALLY, the SEVEN TYPES, would be present in EVERY AGE.

Those SEVEN TYPES would BECOME, the Dominate TYPE in the EXACT ORDER as the AGE of Church History that they were WRITTEN IN.

Some say the TYPES, can go down to the TYPE of Christian you are, but I am not sure about that.

HOWEVER, I AM ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE that those TYPE OF CHURCHES DID DOMINATE (the majority of the Churches), in each of the sub-division of the entire CHURCH AGE, and all SEVEN TYPES would be represent in every Age. IT IS CHURCH HISTORY.

Currently due to the LUKEWARMNESS of LAODICEAN AGE (EASY BELIEVISM), WE are well over half ways through, probably NEAR the End of the Laodicean Age; then the NEXT EVENT is the Rapture.

The Philadelphia Age was approximately between 1800-1960, when MORE MISSIONARIES WERE SENT OUT during those 160 years than the REST OF CHURCH HISTORY. Sadly, it was MY GENERATION that Dropped The Ball.

In chapters 2 and 3, we have individual letters addressed to the seven churches of Asia. The letters may be applied in at least three ways. First of all, they describe conditions that actually existed in the seven local churches at the time John was writing. Secondly, they give a view of Christendom on earth at any one time in its history. The features found in these letters have existed in part, at least, in every century since Pentecost. In this respect, the letters bear marked resemblances to the seven parables of Matthew 13. Finally, the letters give a consecutive preview of the history of Christendom, each church representing a distinct period.
Believer's Bible Commentary: A Thorough, Yet Easy-to-Read Bible Commentary That Turns Complicated Theology Into Practical Understanding.

The second and third chapters differ from all the rest of Revelation in that they are letters dictated by the Lord to the Seven Churches which have been chosen to represent the entire church of God. The description of their varied conditions and the commendations, rebukes, promises and warnings given them, are a fitting introduction to a book which is designed to reveal the various phases of the church in history, its fortunes, its lapses, its tribulations, persecutions and final triumph.

Yes, forgiven and SAVED to live FOREVER
How? By our works? Not at all

But rather by the Sacrifice God the Father made, offering His Son, on that Cross

But what works are required now?
And HOW can we do these good works?

First how: By the Help of our Lord, and the POWER of the Holy Spirit

What WORKS are possible?
Purity
Santification
Holiness
Blamelessness

YES, We can live most days, most hours, most minutes with a pure heart, God's Heart in us.

What do WE do, what works?

We must CHOOSE Goodness, Kindness, Longsuffering to others, Gentleness (The fruits of the Holy Spirit)

And let the POWER of God work in us

My friends, a BIG KEY, is we must CHOOSE to be apart of this society (think tv, etc)

The Greek word for the "church" is "The Called OUT of"

Remember, the candle that shines, is off in the distance

We can do ALL THINGS through Christ Jesus our Lord

Yes, to a great degree we can be Pure and Holy Children of our Heavenly Father, NOW

Amen (Yes, surely so BE IT)

Here? Oh my. I will ponder. But what I share will only be, to witness the rescue of our Father from all the fiery darts He blocked from reaching my heart. To His glory, and to His Praise. His PROTECTION is there for all who seek Him

No, actually I am fully correct....it was not directed to false, satanic cults, and or false churches...it was directed to 7 churches that had their origin and founding in the Lord not some man....and they did not represent AGES...that is ridiculous....they accurately represent the types of the Lord's churches that will be found in any time period...lose the Protestantism philosophy....and the bolded is foolish...

1. Separate yourself from all HURTFUL things
This world, the garbage on TV, friends who cause you to do what you should not do

Then God the Father can be reached

He says "Come OUT of her my people"
and you will be my people
And I will be your God
