Today is a beautiful, bright, sunny day here! Wonderful weather we're having.

Of course it does make it a bit warm when I'm riding my bike to work. But it's still great.
AdjutantAlpha said:
How could you be so callous? There are people getting rained on right now, you insensitive jerk. How do you think it makes them feel when you're bragging about sunny weather?
TheLastWannabe said:
What about disabled people who can't ride a bicycle? How do you think THEY feel when you're bragging about riding a bike to work? Man, some people are so oblivious to the feelings of others. And you call yourself a christian?
CaliDudette said:
Actually it is raining where I am right now, and I didn't think it was offensive at all. I'm glad somebody is getting sunny weather.
AdjutantAlpha said:
CaliDudette that's even worse than Lynx! At least he's in the sunshine so we can expect him to not be sympathetic to people in the rain. You ARE in the rain but you think just because you don't care about it then nobody around you should care? Really? You don't even care that your next door neighbor is probably getting depressed with all the gloomy weather right now?
WindStalker said:
Okay, I get it. This whole thread is just an underhanded jab at me because I talked about sunny weather a couple days ago. Do you really have to mock me in front of the whole forum like this?
DuckyLife said:
There are already plenty of threads about sunny days in the Weather Discussion Forum. If we have to have yet another thread about it, could we at least put it in the correct forum with all the others?
Lynx said:
Wow, all I wanted was to express joy for a nice sunny day. Who would have thought it would offend so many people?
AdjutantAlpha said:
Well maybe next time you think about other people's feelings before you go spouting about sunny days. Just be glad we haven't broken out the whole global warming debate on you. Yet.
Seriously, this is what it feels like to be on this forum these days. I know it is currently fashionable to actively look for reasons to be offended, but do we have to bring it into the forum? It's starting to feel like BDF in EVERY forum these days. No matter what a person posts, there is a real chance somebody will be offended by it.

And Heaven help anybody who starts a new thread these days. Back in the day you could have a neat idea, start a thread about it and let it run. These days you have to baby-sit a new thread because it will probably get derailed by a bitter argument - usually in the first page.

Please, could we all try to just relax and enjoy christian fellowship here? Just for a change, just to see what it's like?

Then he talks about it being hot. He has no consideration for the people suffering in the heat, along the equator. If it's so hot where Lynx is, lets see him deal wil malayria.

can the-last-wannabe username person be more blatantly "easily offended" just because someone decided to ride a bike on a nice weather, does that person think that Lynx is omniscient somehow, knowing everything, including the opinions of thelastwannabe? Does Christianity require omniscience to avoid offending anyone?

I actually stopped reading by the time I got to someone feeling offended that Lynx decided to ride a bike

and I'm the "third person perspective" here

Ah yes, thank you. I forgot that one. How could I complain when there are people dealing with far greater heat in other places?

You know who's fault it is, that someone is offended?
The person offended.

You’re from Tennessee, that’s offensive😁.

Ain’t you never thinking on all the folks y’all up in Tennessee, yes “up” in Tennessee, cause that lame saying “down in Tennessee” was obviously made by some yankee that couldn’t tell the difference between up and down🤪.

Oh, where was I? Oh yes, y’all up in Tennessee are oblivious to the fact that there’s is way warmer in Alabama.

Now what you say?

🤦‍♀️

I have no idea where those quotes are from, lynx. Unless you made the whole thing up. If so, I’m offended by all of it because it’s a made up story!

Well, Tennessee boys may very well be inbred trash but we got a saying here - It's garbage can. Not garbage cannot.

I’m offended because over in the UK we have had wall to wall sunshine since April. The UK is starting to look like the Sahara. Lol

I’m also offended because it was so hot yesterday that I jumped in the shower set it to the coldest setting possible and the water was still luke warm. 😁

True. A bit like the argument that you and Zero had on the other two threads? 😂

I went to church once together with a farmer's daughter. The vicar praised the sunny weather and said it was good for all of us except the farmers. My friend got offended by that note. It was like the reservation it self got her annoyed.

People might chose to get offended by anything if they chose to. Mostly it is just to ignore and move on.

I have my things that, if you want to make me upset, always works. Down talking and discriminatory remarks about disabled people and telling me it is basically my fault God hasn't healed me. Those things attacks my core being, and I get very upset.

You are hereby warned.

It is a sunny day, poor farmers, dogs and pale people. The rest of us can enjoy. And blessed be the icecream seller. He will make a great deal of money today.

We too! There is no lawn to mow. All brown and not at all as green as it is in a normal rainy Norwegian summer

Colossians 3:12-17 NKJV
[12] Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; [13] bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. [14] But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. [15] And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. [16] Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. [17] And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

Yes it was all fiction. The hard part was coming up with user names I know are not real registered user names.

I'm offended because you referred to luke warm, but I have no way of knowing how warm Luke is.
