Its kinda sad..a lot of men i have dated recently live with thier parents and are around MY AGE of 51! Some say due to divorce 2 plus yrs ago.. Dont buy it..these men have better incomes than i do n im on my own...its kinda expected for a woman to be on her own even with children but there seems to be a different stamdard for men..and yes..rents and taxes are high here but honestly.. I just think they want thier mothers to take care of them again..so guys BIG TURN OFF TO POTENTIAL DATES..IF YOURE OVER 30..BIG TURN OFG TO BE LIVING AT HOME WITH PARENTS..GET A ROOM MATE OTHER THAN PARENTS. lol

Firstly the CONTEXT of the statement was in reference to dating/romance only.
Secondly further context shows it was directly related to car doors also.
Thirdly the notion that the "wrong people" in this world are people not conforming to man made rules is patently ridiculous.
Lastly the notion that my family and friends would qualify as the "wrong people" is flatly insulting.
You pride yourself on opening doors yet feel no qualms insulting ones friends and family. Who really qualifies as the "wrong people" here?

Oh. And in reference to your out of context commentary I DO hold doors open. Even with having two bad hips, trouble walking and a crutch I still hold doors for people. Just like any of my friends or family would.

Because most women don't wear dresses, or have them long enough for them to get caught outside in a door/ horse and carriage like they used to. Im assuming that's where the whole "ladies first" thing came in.. Guy needed to be behind her to make sure she doesn't get caught in a closing door.



Because as little girls they probably watched too many princess movies and identified with them and as they moved into adulthood, a bit of that still remained, except they forgot that most, if not all of the princesses had dresses. So now when they ask a man to open/close the door for them hes like "for what?". My suggestion to her if she wants that type of door action, is for her to get one of those 1800's dresses. Pretty sure all kinds of people will hold doors open and close for her.

Other than that i don't really see the point.. I have seen firsthand how hard
and fast women can fling open a freezer to get at ice cream.

Im going to get you a horse and i bet its lot easier for you to open car doors than maintain and use a horse..lol..men just have gotten lazy..admit it..lol

Opening car doors all the time. The few times I've tried it it seemed unappreciated anyways. So why bother?

Well..dont know if youve been married but theres been lots of times i cooked for my husband without any appreciation..why bother right? I did it cause its the RIGHT THING TO DO!

If a woman can do it..a man should be able to..MOST men spend OVER thier percentage of child support on thier child when married anyway..figure on what you spend on your kids..food..clothing..shelter..toiletries..school stuff..bet it all equals more than your 1/3?

Never spent nowhere close to what child support is, and I pay 100% of the child support. See, women can just not work, and always find a guy to live with.

Hmmmm..never did that..not cool for the kids! A lot of men dont want to pay for another mans kids..i think women are more accepting of a mans children than the other way around...

Things he should be doing the rsst of his life..but my brother was taught as well as i taught my sons ..to open doors for all age women..young..old..respect thing..so they never griped bout opening up doors for gfs..it was a given..
