I would have thought someone of your caliber would have at least enough wisdom to realize you don't update your "scorecard", to see who's winning!
You update your scorecard in "discerning" which TEAM/S, the "Players" are on!
(be STILL, my aching sides) Perhaps you should enlist in a new "Town Crier!" As I think your present one, has a Foster Brooks complex!
As for me? I thinks God's sense of humor is being put on display! Going around "kicking over" (supposedly) "lively stones", just so other people can see what kind of "varmits" start scurrying, when the "light" hits 'em! Wouldn't you agree?

I'm addressing this to all the cessationists not just Roger here...I have had exchanges with you all at one time or another and some of you are worse than others. dismissive, mocking and downright just common rude
no CS isn't being haughty and I'm not saying that cause he is a mod and I am trying to be on his good side
all you cessationists come out of the closet and attack him is what happened and I don't know why the forum puts up with it
you all have the leniency to post whatever topic you want so why not start one saying I hate all things I don't personally agree with and I will attack the poster of any op who has the nerve to post what I do not agree with
I'm sceptical of people being raised from the dead and maybe some other things but I have the God given common sense not to attack it because if it is true, I am attacking the hand of God at work in this life we have.
some of the things I read in this forum written by cessationists are truly not necessary. and I see a progression in some of you in the way you write and respond. your hearts are getting harder in some cases and you don't even realize it
when someone does that? they end up having their hearts made harder and harder and you actually become like Paul while he was still Saul...zealots who think they are on God's side who need a confrontation with the risen Christ
the written word saves no one. only the blood of Christ transforms and some of you think you are defending that but you are attacking the very life God gives to those who love Him

God controls spirit life. Those that are truly dead in so such much that their temporal spirit has returned to God who gave it.... cannot not be resuscitated. The corruptible cannot inherit the incorruptible.
If life comes back to these bodies of death then a person was not truly dead. No one has received their new incorruptible bodies.
.And again as it is written, with the word it representing the faith of God. It is the exclusive source of faith by which we can believe God. Natural man is defined as having "no faith" not little but none . He is left with his own imagination again no faith.
Having a fleshly what some call out of the body experience which is really fallen angels bringing in lies as did the Son of man experience came from lying sign and wonders. Along with it God sends a strong delusion to beleive the lie. Believing a lie to confirm the Holy Spirit is involved does not represent the gospel .
Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:2 Thessalonians 2:9-11

Using ones own imagination as a source of faith only proves God to be true and every man that opens his fleshly mind to the occult world . God is simply not brining and new revelations after any manner.

What I do, is tend not to "argue" with people like that after having having had a session or 2! Realizing the size of the "chip on their shoulder", and the "stiffness" of their neck? Tells me thing a thing or two in regards concerning people displaying such obviously suspicious "mannerisms, and behaviors!" Not the least of which, is winning! And, it makes no difference to them, how "astray" they traverse in their achieving their win! Except, when confronting their views. Then, they are quite "obliged", into "spinning", or "deflecting", away from their true source, or sources. They dare not "blow their cover!" Especially, should they be "data anylist's", on someone's payroll.
If this were Moses' day? "Go BACK to EGYPT, YOU HYPOCRITE!"They "fear" the "rod of Iron!" Want everyone else to "fear" it too!

There are multiple stories of people who were clinically dead and came back to life with many of whom were not even Christians. Where does that leave us with this "supposed proof" ?
What I don't see in this video is a purported apostle or one who claims to have the "gift of healing" saying .... "Lazarus .. come forth ! "

I do use considerable restraint when I post here on CC. The Holy Spirit applies what He knows is needed in the hearts of those who read what is posted. Some are instructed and some are pierced by what the Holy Spirit teaches from the exact same words. Such is the power of Gods word.
What you falsely accuse as judgmental is offered in the love of the Lord.

The disciples of Christ performed many miracles, but after their time miracles became rare. I believe God gave them the power to perform miracles to help the spread of the gospel, as the miracles drew a lot of attention and people were more open to hear the gospel after they witnessed a miracle.
Miracles are rare in our days because most people have heard the gospel, so God doesn't perform miracles on the scale He used to in biblical times. But there are still thousands of miracles happening around the world, a lady at my Church was given a few months to live due to cancer.
We all preyed diligently and she has made a miraculous recovery and the doctors are absolutely amazed, they had to apologize for telling the family to prepare for her death.

I find it funny those who have taken issue with my comments above.
I mentioned no names it could have even been an atheist and even someone you have known not even on CC. BUT some here in their prideful self-righteous Pharisees outlook; took it to mean them. LOL If am wrong for my post I will say it could be trolling those who meet the above description. However, the video does provides proof that God raises the dead.
Watching those scramble to create biblical opposition to this testimony was fun
Then out of anger mainly due no Biblical refute of this testimony, they act like Pharisees attacking the testimony of this video. It was only after that, you see their true fruit
. False narratives, allegorizing verse to over spiritualize this testimony, even flat out questioning their salvation after they publicly gave God glory for what has been done.
Doctor testified, “This was a Miracle”. Yet some here who are not Doctors; try to provide medical explanation to this event and were not even the ones who examined the dead man. LOL But they know better .

you can limit God all you want To suggest that God does not perform miracles on any scale that man sets is wrong and prideful. You do not know all God does each day nor are you able to say with authority such a claim. That is why I'm in direct oposition to this unbiblcal thinking because the word of God is and the testimony of the people.
