So then if you are still sinning you're in a ""very serious place to be"" So one can only conclude that you are in a very serious place now because you have failed to cease sinning right?? Since you should not have any struggles with the same sins...

So your sins ( since you seem to be acknowledging that you continue to sin ) will ""deal with you"" Wow i am glad i do not believe as you do CS1

Why do you say one type of sin? All sins no matter what the type cause a man to fall short of the perfect standards of God..

This topic has nothing to do with the OSAS and falling away from salvation issue.. This has to do with people declaring that sinning must stop for people to maintain their salvation.. Or that particular sins that some people personally find extra offensive are more serious then others and thus they determine that such sins will be added to a list of sins that cause one to lose their salvation...

If a person willfully sins then there is no longer any Atonement for their sin.. This issue is not about willful sin it is about sin.. It seems that you are injecting the wilfull element into things.. I am not talking about willful sinning here at all..

If a person steals a cookie from a cookie jar or if they pilfer a pen from their workplace then they are worthy to be cast into the eternal lake of fire.... It seems to me that you have set a scale of sins that are acceptable and ones that are not.. When you should realize that God is PERFECT and ZERO sins are acceptable to Him.. Therefore if your doctrine is correct it does not matter what sin you sin you have fallen short of the perfect standards of God and are thus worthy of eternal damnation.... So what is the point if you stop going to a whore house to engage in sexual sin.. If you do any sins at all no matter how minor you assume them to be you're in a very dangerous place according to your doctrine..

If you have victory over sin in your life .. YOU WILL CEASE ALL SINNING.. Because Victory means victory over sin.. If you are still sinning then you have not achieved victory,,, have you..... nope..

What if it is not Gods will to remove a sin from you? Indeed if it was Gods will to remove all sins from me i would cease all types of sin right??? And so would you.. We would be both sinless in the flesh...

But we are not and no one is...

So there is something wrong with your beliefs CS1...
Adstar there is nothing wrong with what I am saying. What is wrong you have an issue with context and see it from one perspective biblically. why does one die? and are you going to die Adstar? will your physical body age? what caused that to happen? If you drink to excess and you develop liver damage after being told to stop drinking and die from it, why did you die? The reason is the sin. If you are a Christian you will die too even if you have been forgiven why? Because of sin. Sin has a price you will and I will die because of it the body dies each day we live. that is because of sin. God does forgive and saves us but the flesh is not saved yet. saying you do not believe that your sin will deal with you , you say that because you do not think sin has a price, the wage is death.

What has physical death got to do with the second death which is being cast into the eternal lake of fire...

Why even bring up physical death when this discussion is not about physical death... We are talking about Eternal life and what causes one to have or not have eternal life with God..

So yeah we all physically die because we cannot inherit eternal life in these corrupt bodies but we will be gifted eternal perfect bodies when God perfects us and we are sinless eternal beings..

Of course i think sin has a price.. Physical death for believers but not the second death..

I did not steal a cookie from the cookie jar or take a pen from the workplace your example is a self-righteous outlook. But would the Holy Spirit in the Christian wink at taking the Cookie or pen>? So your outlook on sin is a little is Ok cheating once in while is ok, drunkness once in a while is Ok. you can have a little sin activity is Ok. God to Cain something " sin is at the door and you must master it. the difference between what your saying and what Jesus is saying are not the same. If you like stealing cookies & pens and have no remorse from sinning because you think it's ok to do so . You have bigger issues then a missing cookie & pen.

because Sin is the reason why ones die you should not even get sick because you have been forgiven Adstar. No, I'm talking about sin in the life of a person who wants to be free from the bondage of sin like homosexuality, drunkness etc... Sin did that to the body. You have reason to take care of the body once you get saved by your assertion.

No.. If i stole a cookie or pilfered a pen and was not covered by the Atonement of the LORD Jesus ChristGod would be totally justified having me cast into the eternal lake of fire.. But if i am covered by the atonement of the LORD Jesus Christ i would be forgiven for stealing a cookie the same as i would be forgiven for operating a gas chamber at Austwitz concentration camp.. Sin is sin.. It does not matter minor or major sin unforgiven sins disqualify one from eternal life..

So your outlook on sin is a little is Ok cheating once in while is ok, drunkness once in a while is Ok.
Where did you get that impression from? I mentioned those seemingly minor sins to show that even those are enough to disqualify a person from eternal life.. So they are not ok.. No matter if a person is a mass murderer orpilfers a pen from their workplace both sins are enough to see one cast into the eternal lake of fire if they are unforgiven..

Of course people should acknowledge every transgression against the will of God to be sins.. stealing a cookie is stealing and therefore against the standards of God.. I am saying that there is no difference between minor and major sins in regard to salvation.. You on the other hand proclaim that if someone sins the Homosexual sin then that sin is one that is so major that the person cannot be saved...

For me the only sin that cannot be atoned for is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.. The rest can be atoned for..

sin unchecked in not a minor thing . if you are cookie stealing pen theiving person you have a serious issue with your character and integity . No one said a person who was homosexual could not be saved. The idea that after you are saved thaT YOU are still a homosexual is the issue and is unbiblical. if you want to genralize homosexuality cookie stealing, I think that is mockery of God holiness and rightous judgement. The human reasoning is not Biblical or do it make God reasonable. You think God would send a person to hell for taking a cookie without permission in the same way a person still having homosexual sin? LOL ahahahhaah what a joke. were done.

God knows whom he calls to his son. There are likely many gay people who are Christians. What straight Christian is without blemish? Why worry about what others are in the eyes of the God that knows all? Worry about your own soul and how you, that individual that professes Christ, lives the example of being regenerate.

Hi Diana, the fact that no straight Christian is w/o blemish is undoubted (by most Christians anyway ;)), but none who have been regenerated/are "born again" .. Ezekiel 36:26-27; John 3:3, who have been made by God into wholly "new creatures" in Christ .. 2 Corinthians 5:17, remain in/embrace (or even return to) an unrepentant, sinful "lifestyle", or their "claim" of being a Christian should not be regarded as anything more than that.

As the Apostle tells us:

.........1 John 3
.........9 No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God’s seed abides in him; and he cannot keep on sinning, because he
.........has been born of God.

Why worry about what others are in the eyes of the God that knows all? Worry about your own soul and how you, that individual that professes Christ, lives the example of being regenerate.
We are called to witness to/bring the Gospel to bear in the lives of the lost (whether they "claim" to be Christians or not), and the "lifestyle" that we lead (what we do/say and even how we think) is normally the best proof that we have of who we really are .. cf 2 Corinthians 13:5. Regardless of Cain's lovely sentiment concerning his brother Able, we are called by God to be helpful to each another in this life, to be our "brother's keepers", especially where the eternity of another is the thing that's at stake.

I was baptized as an infant and raised in the church, loved it, in fact, and attended regularly from Sunday School as a child through college. And even though I entered "the world" in a BIG way during my college years and beyond, I still considered myself to be a Christian, until the day I actually became one, that is :) (2 months after my 30th birthday).

I will be forever grateful to the Lord for bringing the people He did into my life at that time as they faithfully and selflessly brought the Gospel to me and helped me understand that I wasn't the "Christian" that I believed myself to be. One was a colleague and the other, an employee, and I will be forever grateful to both of them as well for deciding to worry less about themselves and more about me and the fact that I was lost (as they both decided to take a risk, particularly my employee, to talk to me openly about Jesus in the workplace).

If it this is so ( the statement i have highlighted in your post.. Then likewise the idea that after you are saved that you are still a sinner must also be an issue.... But as you have confessed you are still a sinner just like everyone else that has been saved... So how can you select one particular sin and declare people who sin that sin
un-Christian while you sin sins but your sins do not disqualify you from being a Christian..

Either sin disqualify s a person from the atonement of the LORD Jesus Christ or it doesn't..You cannot say this sin disqualifies and another sin does not. Beyond what Jesus already declared when He revealed blasphemy of the Holy Spirit..

The human reasoning is not Biblical or do it make God reasonable. You think God would send a person to hell for taking a cookie without permission in the same way a person still having homosexual sin? LOL ahahahhaah what a joke. were done.
YES INDEED i believe it... Any sin will end in that sinner being cast into the eternal lake of fire because our God is Perfect.... And all who seek eatery into eternal life with Him must likewise be Perfect... The only Way for us to be deemed Perfect is to be perfectly covered by the Atoning Blood of the LORD Jesus Christ for all ones sins from stealing a cookie to the most terrible sins imaginable.. Each and every sin needs the Atonement of the LORD. and each and every sin will be covered by the Blood of Jesus if the sinner believes Jesus and trusts 100% in the effectiveness of His Atonement for their sins.

That's the Gospel and it ain't no joke..

I believe that in the case of most homosexuals is that they are wired that way in their brain since birth or shortly thereafter.
I don't believe that at all....Romans states clearly is is a choice based upon lust and being given over to a reprobate mind void of judgment!

Where is the evidence for this?
There is none....as a matter of fact the bible teaches clearly it is a choice based upon lust and being given over to a reprobate mind....and there are a lot of sins by man that are not LABELED AN ABOMINATION by God in his word.....!!

Yes..you can still be a christian..being gay is a sexual perversion but God doesnt see that sin as any different than one who openly lies..over eats knowingly..gossips etc..we ALL sin and need to repent and ask forgiveness..some just struggle with certain areas in thier lives...

HOWEVER "struggling" NOT to do something verses outwardly and KNOWINGLY doing something wrong and not caring

Again..i dont believe a person can lose thier salvation because of sin..thats the beauty of the plan of Salvation..we WILL be judged accordingly though when we die...
Ummmmm I would have to disagree with God seeing all sin on the same level....the law makes it clear that sin is qualified and quantified by the level of punishment meeted out for particular sins......God calls man with man or woman with woman or either with animals an abomination....there are numerous sins that do not meet that qualification......just saying.........and no offence my friend.

Are you saved CS1 ???
Are you still sinning??? Yes..
So therefore you are saved while still being a sinner correct?
You have declared that you still sin CS1 so you yourself are being saved while still being in your sin..

Do people practice gluttony and saved? Telling "little white lies" and saved? Pre marital sex and saved? All sins..same as homo sexuality

We are to LOVE THE SINNER..HATE THE SIN...:)
