The problem that is happening today, is that the very basic moral foundation of society is crumbling to the point that the foundation itself cannot be repaired. We are reaching a level of degradation that not even animals would confuse their young with their gender.

This is the level of society we are at today.

It is not uncommon for people to lose their jobs if they don't support LGBT way of life, but if its the other way around, where as a transgender or homosexual loses their job, it is discrimination, but if a straight person refuses to celebrate and accept the LGBT lifestyle as being acceptable, then they risk losing their job. This evening I'm talking with my husband about this and that. And he asks me, as he's just gotten in from work, if I've yet heard about this Transsexual that has now decided it is a dragon. This made news two years ago but it is being re-hashed on a Christian media program on radio. He heard it discussed on the drive home.

It in this context is not an insult. Rather, it is what It wants to be called now since it has come to the realization that not only was it born male but then decided he had a female hiding inside years ago, but now as that trans-female It has arrived at the realization It is a dragon. And rather than gender pronouns it wants to be called, "It".

It has mutilated itself having its ears cut off, as you see. And while PJ Media isn't typically considered a viable reporting agency, in this case they're spot on. Because this is a true story.

It's become a cultural thing now. Just popular and cool for some odd reason...Or maybe it was all those Lifetime movies in the late 80's and early 90's making it sound so cool and martyr"ish". And now days, you got things going on like on the front page of this thread. I feel heartbroken when I see or am told of the latest article about someone's self mutilation due to their "feeling" they are other than their born sex or worse, human.
And in this age it would never happen like it would have in the one not that far removed, it isn't malpractice to comply with a clearly possessed, mentally ill, sufferer's request for body modification.
I cannot wrap my head around the body's shock when awakened from general anesthesia after all that work to change that which went to sleep.
The immune system has to adapt to those implants of whatever type they may be. And it will fight that new invader that snuck in while the body was under anesthesia for a great long time. Until the body goes to extremes to survive itself.

What if what we as Christians are amazed at reading headlines or, if like me, are unaware until entering into a form we've joined, like this one, are actually being afforded the opportunity to repeat Biblical history while employing as ourselves, "me" who thinks I am Christ-like, what Christ taught, which first and foremost is, that he will lead and guide us personally.

What if, God's written word is a blueprint?
While if, as it says, we let ourselves be open to the holy spirit teaching from within ourselves, as unique saints God knows, follow where he leads, write our own testament?
What if being Christ like actually entails listening to Christ right now? Rather than thinking we're obligated to acting out right now what pertained to first century reality?

Well this morning, I read up about 2 christian woman, calligraphers, who risk facing jail because they refuse to take part in an event that promotes same sex weddings.
