1st Corinthians 15 1-4

moreover bretheren , I declare unto you the Gospel , which I preached unto you , which also ye have received , and wherein ye stand

By which also ye are SAVED , if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you , unless ye have believed in vain

For I delivered unto you first of all , that which I also received , how that Christ died for our sins ,according to the scriptures

That he was buried , and that he rose again the third day

Galations 1 : 8

But though we or an angel from heaven preach any other Gospel unto you , than that which we have preached unto you , let him be accursed .

Jesus is not a tyrant and he died to free us from the tyranny of the law. He died to fulfill the law in our stead that if the Holy Spirit really is working in us love is the fruit we shall bear. I've done what you asked, your turn. You have a Bible handy I hope, go check out 1st Corin. 13... the whole thing, not bits and pieces of it.

If a person is "saved unto good works", but does not the works that the Lord has reserved for them, will they still see EL?
Even if a man does do the works that the Lord has 'reserved for them' -- they will not see God -- unless their performance of those things met His perfect standard. Anything less is eternal destruction from the presence of the Lord in the Lake of Fire.

It isn't about how bad a man is . . . it's about not being as good as he required to be.

To people who are saved. We won't get cut off & cast aside but trimmed so we can produce. produce what? love.
You are correct. "Every branch in me" = saved people in Jesus.

Now let's look at the next part of the verse, it is: "that beareth not fruit". What is Jesus referring to when he says
"that beareth not fruit"? I will answer this for you because it is fairly straight forward. Jesus is referring to a branch that produces no fruit.

So putting this together with the first part, what do we have. "Every branch IN ME, that beareth not fruit". Jesus is referring to saved people that beareth no fruit. Am I OK with our interpretation so far?

My love

It is said that no one can save themselves by their works in righteousness.
If this is true then by the same token no one can condemn themselves
by their works in unrighteousness. Or neither one of these can be the truth?
He that believes on the Son is having everlasting life.

It pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe

Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds/works if the law.

It is written...
with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you
She's entirely correct. One thing that is for certain, as soon as a man dies he will know the truth that he avoided over his lifetime -- and the sham of a fig-leaf religion that he attempted to clothe his nakedness with. For the unsaved, religious zealot, it will indeed be a sad day.

Some scriptures indicate that a gift is irrevocable, but some do not. For instance John 15:2 indicates that if you are saved IN JESUS, but do not produce fruit for his kingdom, you will lose your salvation. Many other scriptures indicate that the gift is not irrecvocable.
No it does not....that is just your erroneous interpretation.......!

Kneeling and reciting a prayer that someone else wrote does not save anyone if it does not come from the heart. The first fruit is love. Love

Try again this you have said does not change the truth.

How can a person who is saved, made a new creature, based on their faith in christ not do works?

Your to focused on works, and not enough on christ, repent and seek christ and not your self righteousness,
