Why da heck should people own guns? I know it has some advantages but if the disadvantages outweigh the advantages then it isn't good anyway

Well in some ways I agree with both sides I agree we should have the right to bear arms but if things keep going as they are many people shouldn't there should be stricter gun laws instead the pro guns blame the media first movies now video games it will lead to more censorship and completely missing the problem as usual
