This is a copy/paste from today's issue of Vermont's Front Porch Forum online.. These people call themselves Unitarian Universalist Pagans. This church is across the road from me, and they're going to be doing pagan rituals in an effort to "contact spirits and dead ancestors..

I am appalled that this is happening in a church. Mind you, this is also one of the churches that proudly displays the gay pride colors in their windows and outside the front door.

This is NOT a Samhain observance for the witches' new year. Let's call it what it is: DEMON WORSHIP. In a CHURCH. Just a few steps away from my apartment building. :rolleyes:

Just another example of how satan is working.. Here is the article..

Samhain Observance at Unitarian Church Thursday

Event: Nov 8, 2018, 6:30 PM
Please join UU CUUPS (Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans) as we engage in a participant-led observation of Samhain. Samhain (pronounced Sow-When) is also known as witches' new year. It is a time to embrace the growing darkness of the year and to connect with spirits and ancestors. Participants in this ritual will be invited to bring an offering to the ritual. Offerings may include an item for the ancestor altar, a song, a dance, a chant, stories of loved ones, or whatever you feel moved to bring to the space.
Thursday, November 8 6:30p.m. in the fireside room at the Montpelier UU Church, all are welcome.

The problem in the USA is that any group can call themselves "church".

So, its not about churches going to be more and more perverted, its about more and more groups calling themselves church, in this case...

But it's kind of an oxymoron for them to be pagans, and do a satanic ritual inside a SUPPOSEDLY sacred Christian church. These people also conduct rituals up in Hubbard Park, which is just down the road. I knew there were devil worshihpers here in my town, but I never realized just how truly close to me they are..

Ah, you mean church as building, not church as... church... ehm, English :cautious:

I sent an email to the lady who posted the article, and told her I hope Jesus' blood will cover her and her fellow pagans as they do their demonic rituals tonight.. I told her that as a Christian, I cannot fathom WHY PAGANS would do such a ritual in a church, instead of going into the woods or something, like they do at Hubbard Park..

As though this is only a problem in the USA. There was a synagogue of Satan in the first century. And many Europeans are neo-pagan and no doubt call themselves churches.

They're in Europe as well, let's not limit this as if it is some "American" problem.

Your article reminded me of these verses from 2 Thessalonians 2:

1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

satan was defeated and remains defeated to this day. that does not stop him from his desperate attempts to oppose God and exalt himself in his own imagination (and whoever he can get to join him).

the Lord Jesus Christ is still seated at the right hand of God, far above satan and his minions.

you can sit and pray while the pagans revel in their idolatry.

Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world – 1 John 4:4.

They can't be called a Christian "church" even though the stones and mortar most likely had Christians in there in the past:

They are tied to Unitarian Universalist Arsesociation and state the following in

Unitarian Universalist congregations affirm and promote seven Principles, which we hold as strong values and moral guides. We live out these Principles within a “living tradition” of wisdom and spirituality, drawn from sources as diverse as science, poetry, scripture, and personal experience. These are the six sources our congregations affirm and promote:

  • Direct experience of that transcending mystery and wonder, affirmed in all cultures, which moves us to a renewal of the spirit and an openness to the forces which create and uphold life;
  • Words and deeds of prophetic people which challenge us to confront powers and structures of evil with justice, compassion, and the transforming power of love;
  • Wisdom from the world's religions which inspires us in our ethical and spiritual life;
  • Jewish and Christian teachings which call us to respond to God's love by loving our neighbors as ourselves;
  • Humanist teachings which counsel us to heed the guidance of reason and the results of science, and warn us against idolatries of the mind and spirit;
  • Spiritual teachings of Earth-centered traditions which celebrate the sacred circle of life and instruct us to live in harmony with the rhythms of nature.
Rev. Kathleen Rolenz said, “Throughout history, we have moved to the rhythms of mystery and wonder, prophecy, wisdom, teachings from ancient and modern sources, and nature herself.”

I prefer to see situations like this to be a sign of the times.

Look at this past mid-term election within the USA. First of all, Trump (business man = not a typical politician) won the presidency. Secondly, the first openly GAY/FAG/QUEER was elected as a governor of one of the 50 states within the USA. Even Muslims and Native Americans were elected this past mid-term which is a first. It shows how far people have changed and what is now being accepted. I obviously do not oppose the Muslims nor Native Americans from being elected, but I do oppose the QUEER for governor.

To me, it just reveals how easy the Antichrist will come in and sway people and take over pretending to be God. I see it as the table is set and we are now just waiting for the remaining players to sit and join the party. People's acceptance of anything today is a definite sign that things are in place for the END!!

I also see with this QUEER as governor, future real Godly churches being shut down. How do you preach against homosexuality when the leader of your state is a homosexual who now has the power to arrest you and close your doors?

Way too many pieces are in place for the Tribulation and the Antichrist to take place, in my opinion!!

I know two people that go to one of those organizations here in town. The man who goes there talks of how you can be anything you want because they accept "everyone"; Buddhist, Hindu, New Age, and he named several others, but he never mentioned Christian.

They all share their subjective truth, then praise one another...praise their false gods...deceive one another...share lies from satan with one another...

Now what is it with this movement and leftists in their ideological similarities, that they are so willing to accept "everyone," so tolerant, so spiritual, so loving? As long as you're not Christian or God himself?

I don't believe these have apostatized from the faith as for the most part I don't think it has ever preached the true Gospel or professed faith in Christ and his Gospel alone for salvation.

Thanks for sharing. Gave me something to pray about. I just prayed in opposition.

How did the lady respond to your email? Or did she?

Sorry my brother, that isn't accurate. The context is those who were among the believers who departed from the faith. The context of 2 Timothy makes this certain. We can't call those who were never claiming to be of the church apostates. Your definition of apostasy isn't accurate bro. But, I'll buy ya a beer when you come down this way. :)

As scripture says, in the last days there will be a great falling away. We are witnessing that. As churches stop being churches and instead become entertainment centers.
