the opening statement on your not at all prejudiced article, calls Harper a bigot

shall I find the ones that call Trudeau gay, a muslim, or 'using' muslims for votes and various other claims?

Harper's comments were against radicalized muslims, but they are all actually a threat unless they convert

Islam is a political system and conveniently can be 'interpreted' to suit the occasion

from your article:

Harper used “public fear to advance his political agenda at the expense of Canadian Muslims,” wrote Faisal Bhabha on the blog The Harper Decade. In his essay entitled “Does Harper care about Canadian Muslims?” the Osgoode Hall Law School professor and former vice-chair of the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, noted that on “the day of the April 2013 Boston Marathon attack, the Harper government announced plans to rush debate of new legislation intended to revive the anti-terrorism detention and investigative powers that expired in 2007 . . . Within days of the January 2015 Charlie Hebdo attack in Paris, French President François Hollande spoke publicly to reassure French Muslims of their civil rights, acknowledging that Muslims were ‘the first victims of fanaticism, fundamentalism and intolerance.’
Faisal Bhabha. says it all right there. what do you think Faisal is doing? trying to create fear in muslims against Harper

muslims lie every single time they say theirs is a peaceful religion

Regarding the existence of bias in media:

I agree.

I only wrote posts on this so people with common sense could see how the argument parses out.

...

as someone once said, 'common sense is not so common anymore'

[an example of bias ]

After news broke of the gruesome murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi,
the mainstream media blamed United States President Donald Trump for being
complicit in the murder. Mr. Trump has been criticized for having a close
relationship with Saudi Arabia.

Where were these voices of outrage when Barack Obama literally bowed to the
Saudi Arabia’s king or when Hillary Clinton’s foundation happily accepted tens
of millions of dollars in donations from Saudi leaders?

gee and we were having such a lovely flow of disagreement here and now comes one of the most off the wall inserts into a thread I have yet seen in this forum

surely Canadians can have their tiffs as well without discussing something so unrelated that you get whiplash reading it?

Yes, that is the one-sided view one gets when one only looks out of their right eye.

As for college campuses only greeting leftist speakers, well of course that's going to happen. Campuses have become the breeding ground of leftism. Just like corporate shareholder boards create extremist rightism. My question is, whatever happened to the middle? It doesn't even exist anymore.
Humm so why are are the cooperations spending more money on the Democrats than the republicans?
Here is the spending of the top ten corporations in the 2016 election.
Dem 217,025,310
Rep 174,053,055
They are not so right leaning as you think . If you go down to the top 100 the money gap is even larger where nearly 57% of total corporations spent their money on the dems .

I can't imagine that you weren't right smack dab in the middle of it. If you don't remember those voices it's not because they weren't there.

Sad how people follow political parties and put their faith in them over putting faith in Jesus.
The hate people have for other people who don’t agree with them ( both sides) makes me wonder..... it’s not Jesus they are following.

I sincerely doubt any of us our putting our faith in politics over Jesus.

Non biased media? Well, I believe all of us have heard of “Телеграфное Aгенство Советского Союза при кабинете министров СССР, ТАСС”

...known as “TASS” in the Western world.

Now, and I might could be as wrong as a copperhead voting for the Democratic Party, but butter my b*** and call me a biscuit if TASS is (was, or whatever) an unbiased medium.

well Trudeau did legalize marijuana.

that might help when the country goes belly up. no one will give a tiddly wink

including mr toker smoker himself

Now, Trudeau claims he does not smoke dope, and he may be right! A dedicated Muslim probably wouldn't.

But Islam does countenance anything, when it comes to bringing down the enemies of Allah! Leave the country legally stoned? All good for Islam!

And in Canada today, Trudeau signed their sponsored "bill" at the UN that Canada must now admit as many refugees as the UN deems necessary. So, we are no longer a sovereign nation! We have no rights to admit who we want, when we want!! After the never ending fiasco Trudeau created with the Syrian refugees, what were the headlines on CBC and CTV today?

"Customers complaining of mouldy pot!"

Roman bread and circuses. And it won't take 400 years like Rome for Canada to fall!

America’s Next Civil War

The United States shows all the warning signs of impending social and political collapse

Everyone in Canada with any power has the same job. It doesn’t matter if you’re prime minister, minister of foreign affairs, or premier of Alberta; it doesn’t matter if you’re the mayor of a small town or a ceo of a major company, if you run a cultural institution or a mine. Canadians with any power at all have to predict what’s going to happen in the United States. The American economy remains the world’s largest; its military spending dwarfs every other country’s; its popular culture, for the moment, dominates. Canada sits in America’s shadow. Figuring out what will happen there means figuring out what we will eventually face here. Today, that job means answering a simple question: What do we do if the US falls apart?

Full article:

https://thewalrus.ca/americas-next-civil-war/
Regardless of ALL who disagree, the U.S. has been the backbone of Western Democracy for the last 70 plus years.....because of our military we have kept the world in check, because of the Petro dollar there has already been a one world reserve currency.....

My view....

The U.S. will fall after the collapse of the dollar and a civil war....Russia will sweep Europe, China will sweep the south Pacific and the U.S. will sit the the smoking ruins of a nation consigned to the pages of history.....our allies which include Australia, Canada, England primarily will be crapping the proverbial brick and then have to submit to Russian/Chinese rule.......at the same time the Madhi/12th IMAM will sweep the Middle East under his wing and then fail with the almost destruction of Israel.....GOD will stand and the gig is up for all.....

And this comes from a man who was a Marine in the 80's, a patriot and a believer above all.....

I think of people like Trudeau as deceived and deceiving others.
He ain't as bad as Trump with the over 5000 lies/half truths.

let the civil war happen, the leftist socialist democrats will be purged rather quick and then the USA will be a proud nation again.

It will happen. But how quick any victory would be is questionable. The liberal left will have the numbers. It will take on a racial tone, and then no one is left at the borders to protect them. Which means more Mexicans, and those of Central America will pour over the border.

Once it takes that racial tone, then even the African and Mexican Christians, will not side with white conservative Christians. Not all of course, but the majority. They will do to the white conservative Christians what they did to us in the South. You will be demonized as evil, the party of evil. You need to be destroyed.

Victory will not be establishing the USA again. It will be surviving the war and establishing your own rule for your own people. Who knows what boundaries that would reflect. It depends on what you can defend.
