Excuse me..i said there 'child of God'?..no..I was referring to all people..that God created and definetly love[/QUOTE]

Biblically... all people are not God's children.

People commonly say, "all people are God's children", but that is not a proposition found in the Bible.

According to the Bible, all humans are not God's children.

So God does NOT send his own children to hell; but all humans are not God's children.

There are many people who do NOT WANT to be God's children.

Those who know Calvin missed the mark ALSO arrived at their conclusions through Scriptures, sincere prayer, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.............Calvinist DO NOT have a lock on The Truth of Scriptures. They ONLY have their opinion.........but, then, so does every one else..........but Calvinists do not recognize that others can disagree with them and STILL be Christians......and children of God.

Nekka, if reality was like you stated then God would appear cruel and vindictive...but it’s not. Think of cancer. The body is designed a certain way, to grow and thrive. When part of the body behaves irradically, and deviate from function, it upsets the body as a whole. To save the body sometimes drastic measures are taken so the new growth can be heathy. It requires the death of rogue cells, sometimes even some healthy to accomplish a favourable future. God is a big picture thinker, we are the cancer. If we won’t respond to the cure, then we will be destroyed.

Here, lemme help you

Romans 3:23) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24) Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25) Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
26) To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

Put this with my comments in #3, and mayhaps you will have some point to begin studying.........

Now, please provide your thoughts?

YOU SAID:

Let.s say you have a son..and he did something terible, hurt someone or broke something...you as a parent, would you send him to burn in hell for eternity because of that?...i guess not, cause he's your son and you love him...so i ask you..how could God punish people with an eternity in hell because of their sins...God, who is pure love...he could to that? Isn.t that a little cruel?

That statement implies that you are speaking of God's SONS.........children, so Maxwell is correct in his assessment.......

But first let me ask you...what do you think is God's purpose..why did he created us?

It's the implication that was made. Was it misunderstood? Possibly, but anyone reading your comment would naturally think you were speaking of Gods children since your example was of a "son." Now, if you are ONLY speaking of the unsaved, you should have been more clear in the OP......

This is why I keep asking you to provide YOUR opinion(s) so we all can better understand what you are asking.......

Ecc 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
Ecc 12:14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

Deu 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.

Psa 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
Psa 9:18 For the needy shall not alway be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.
Psa 9:19 Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight.
Psa 9:20 Put them in fear, O LORD: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.

Isa 5:14 Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.
Isa 5:15 And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled:
Isa 5:16 But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness.

We create our own prison, or paradise, by our actions that we do on earth, and on the good side mainly that we love people, for love works no ill towards their neighbor, therefore love is the fulfilling of the law, which creation testifies of a God that created all things, and of His attributes, which one of them is love, for he provided food, and the means to make clothing, and shelter, so the world is without excuse, and testifies of the 2 greatest laws, love God, and love people.

Out of faith, hope, and charity, love in action, charity is the greatest, and the truth is it is our love that saves us, for God's kingdom is love, and the world is motivated by selfishness, arrogance, and self exaltation, but we cannot love perfectly without the Spirit, and it was our love that caused us to accept God, and confess Christ, and we received the Spirit then we go on to perfecting ourselves in love.

It is really a simple thing, believe in a higher power, abstaining from fleshy pleasures that war against the soul, love God, His moral commandments, for the lust of the flesh is a selfish motivation that we basically only care about ourselves, as is testified throughout history, and even today where millions, and billions of dollars, and multitudes of material things does not satisfy them, but they keep heaping, and heaping, and fighting with each other, and love people for love is the fulfilling of the law.

That is why love is the root of all evil for it neglects the poor and needy.

God is not going to be known as cruel, and is not going to be known as not fair, and will accept no blame, for it is on us if we do not get on the right side of God.

If it were true that we could have an excuse for our actions that are wrong, then God who cannot lie would tell us, and our wrongdoing would not have to be forgiven, but there is no excuse.

Isa 59:1 Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
Isa 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

If we all could be saved despite our actions Jesus would of not had to come to shed His blood, but it is our actions that determine our standing with God, and even the world can abstain from sin as they choose what sins they like, and what sins they do not like, but since they are of the flesh they want to do things of the flesh, but a person led by the Spirit will want to do things of the Spirit.

Which the Spirit and the flesh are contrary to each other, so we need to receive the Spirit, and the blood of Christ, and acceptance of Him is what causes that to happen.

Some people may say they do not understand why Jesus is the Savior, and we need Him to save us, and the Bible says the Gospel is foolishness to some people, but it is because we have a choice between right and wrong, so we are born not knowing God, so we will do wrong before we do right and accept the truth, so no person is right in the eyes of God, and all have sinned, done the act, and fell short of the glory of God.

Only a sinless man can open the kingdom of heaven to people, and Jesus is the mediator between God and men.

The purpose of God creating all things is to allot mankind a certain amount of time to have a people that dwell with Him for all eternity that accepted the truth, and loved correctly by the Spirit, which in the Old Testament they could not receive the Spirit like in the Old Testament, which is why Jesus said that no greater has been born of woman than John the Baptist, but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than him, for John did not receive the Spirit in a saving manner while he was alive on earth, but had the Spirit from the womb to give him power to live correctly to prepare the way for Jesus, but the Old Testament saints that accepted truth have the Spirit now.

Let's say you had a son that was an evil, a murder, liar, thief, adulterer, fornicator etc. and his destiny was to be punished for all eternity and you gave him an out....a complete pardon, and a life of bliss with a new nature and the cost was the death or another SON which was WILLING to do this for you and your wayward son. And your evil son said hell no, rejected you, your offer, your sacrifice, and the one SON that was innocent yet willing to pay the price that your evil son might go free......

Wisdom is justified of her children and the punishment fits the crime!!!

God is not cruel, he takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, has done all things possible to redeem all of humanity and paid the ultimate price in the process............MEN will send themselves to hell by rejecting the free pardon offered in Christ!

Now for the really absurd....Imagine a criminal strapped to the table or chair fixing to be electrocuted or killed by lethal injection and at the very last second the governor calls with a pardon and the criminal says...NO thanks pay....flip the switch.....!!

Nekka,
we all seem to be misunderstanding your original question.

For clarity, can you please restate your original question.
What EXACTLY is your question?

I gave you an answer, now, you respond in kind...........why DO YOU think we were created?
Well..as you can see..everything is dual, dark and light, cold and warmt, good and bad..and that makes me believe that God is dual too..that he is good and evil at the same time. Otherwise how do you explain evil..how it appeared? If not created by God..cause he is the alpha and omega.(who put the pride in Lucifer's heart?...it wasn't born of anything i'm sure)
I don't know the answer to this either..because God is too big and complex for some intelectual animals like us to understand..in the state we find ourself now, full of ego. But i'm sure we can descover more and more if we seek Him..and to do that we must descover ourself first "Man, know yourself and you will know the Universe and the Gods."

You're using New Age philosophy to affect how you perceive God. New Age goes against the concept of the Christian God and is quite in opposition to the biblical God.
If you want to argue or question biblical and spiritual answers then you either have to A) announce your real starting point, or B) readjust to rid yourself of eastern/new age beliefs.
You can't claim a biblical view of God and also refer to non-biblical belief systems, let alone views that blatantly contradict the God of the bible.

My point in what i was saying is that..it seems absurd to me that God only created us to live just one life..no other chances to get better. For example there are a lot of kids who die as babies, or 5-6 yrs old and they not even get the chance to live..to know God. How is that possible? Why they haven't got the chance to live?..What is going to happen to them?
