Scripture doe say that He loved the diligence and compassion of Martha and the spiritual hunger of Mary. That seemed so obvious to me. Why are you so sarcastic.
i wasn't being sarcastic?

i'm trying to list facts. like your ETRSF -- i have studied math for a couple decades. when you try to make a proof, you start by listing facts. you put those facts together and you look for relations between them. you ask questions about them and see where they lead. so, i look at complex problems like this. i list what i know, what i want to find. i look for paths between these sets. it's a methodology grown out of how my mind has been trained to think, the same way your ETRSF is. for the same reason i recognized from your pattern of indentation representing dependence that you may have had experience writing readable code.

show me which scripture you are talking about in re: Mary/Martha's virtues? i have a guess :) thanks; see, you put more information into the list, too

And there are many humble human people in the World which goes against your first response.
this is what i was basing that statement from:

The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
(Psalm 94:11)
This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
(1 John 4:10-11)

while were were sinners and enemies and haters of God, at just the right time He came for us.
we're all vain - proud & arrogant & selfish. and we're liars if we say we don't have sin - all of which sin is vanity.
if He doesn't love us in our vanity, we're in trouble. see Ecclesiastes. if there are humble people in the world it's because God has first loved them enough to reveal something of Himself to their hearts, eliciting humility, IM(H?)O

The Holy Spirt helped me find the acceptable if and then statements.
what about "while" ?

while (God.loves[us] = TRUE) do
//send Son to save us
for each i in (1..N)
if (i.look_to_Son = TRUE) && (i.faith > 0)
i.saved = TRUE
else
i.saved = FALSE
end if
end for
end while

You are missing the the __judgement(i.saved) utility function...returns null if i.saved == false and returns eternal life otherwise. ;)

I majored in Arithmetic/Mathematics and minored in logical classical Music from 4th grade until mid my 2nd year of college. I was recommended to change majors in order to get more courses that could help prepare me to be a elementary school teacher. But the logic of Math and good examples of good literature even in much of my free time helped me to be hired by 2 Christian curriculum developers as a writer/editor even though I didn't take any upper division English courses. God works in mysterious ways for those seeking truths.

Again what is the purpose of this thread?

In regards to your being puzzled about Martha and Mary:
Luk 10:38 Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house.
Luk 10:39 And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus' feet and heard His word.
Luk 10:40 But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, "Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me."
Luk 10:41 And Jesus answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things.
Luk 10:42 But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her."

Joh 12:1 Then, six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus was who had been dead, whom He had raised from the dead.
Joh 12:2 There they made Him a supper; and Martha served, but Lazarus was one of those who sat at the table with Him.
Joh 12:3 Then Mary took a pound of very costly oil of spikenard, anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil.
Joh 12:4 But one of His disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, who would betray Him, said,
Joh 12:5 "Why was this fragrant oil not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?"
Joh 12:6 This he said, not that he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and had the money box; and he used to take what was put in it.
Joh 12:7 But Jesus said, "Let her alone; she has kept this for the day of My burial.
Joh 12:8 For the poor you have with you always, but Me you do not have always."

And many sermons about those 2 women. Expanding or adding to Scripture or just speculating what Jesus thought?

A spiritual buddy Linda told me that she had been studying Greek and Hebrew in relation to Scripture, and what she had learned supported my logical indenting. One major tip is "but" and "for" usually indicated coordination. Back in October 1977, my first assignment for a 72-year-old roof construction company Founder and President had me type the first page of Ephesians. I was his first fulltime employee for ETRSFing. Before he had hired part-time seminary students. I loved it so much that I gave him 20 hours for free often and he only paid me $5 per hour but the Holy Spirit paid me a lot of peace and joy. Those are priceless.

have you ever written computer code?
part of the description here is like when you have nested 'for' loops

for i = 0:N_i
for j = 0:N_j
for k = 0:N_k
((do stuff related to i & j & k))
end for
end for
end for

iterative; interesting :)
Computer programming and mathematics really go hand in hand, don't they? Interesting that mathematics is an abstract concept...a concept about concepts.
For I, the LORD, love justice, I hate robbery in the burnt offering; And I will faithfully give them their recompense And make an everlasting covenant with them.
Hey! I have something in my profile I think you should see! You should see the things I've been saying...hilarious...

***First Challenge: My proposals are indicated in Philippians 2:1-5 and John 14-17.

Guess what are actions done by true Christians are loved by God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.

Php 2:1 Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy,
Php 2:2 fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
Php 2:3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.
Php 2:4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.
Php 2:5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,

If the Believers Faith is placed exclusively in Christ and the Cross, i.e., The Finished Work, i.e., The Blood of Jesus, these things will be done (carry out by the Holy Spirit). If the Believer does not understand this, all scriptures become enticing words to the flesh that will be attempted by the flesh to perform (Romans 8:2-3, 1 Cor. 2:4, Gal. 2:18). The Believer now becomes a transgressor.

In my opinion, God’s love is bigger and more complex than what passes for love in humanity. Absolute & pure love can only be glimpsed under the power of the H.S. - Jesus said, “You can do nothing without me.” Can we do anything lovable without Him? If so, we can claim praise, if not, then thanks seems the proper response.

Rather than thinking God will love me “more” if I do this or “less” if I do that, I think interpreting much of what characterizes God as anthropopathic in nature would better line us with His reality.

The most I can do for God, is to simply agree with Him.

If you can read the question in the OP and not understand why I just simply quoted a verse describing something that GOD LOVES....there is no sense in even engaging you!

Specifics? I am interested about what you agree with God about.
Starting at Genesis 1:1 to Rev. 22:21, I believe God reveals enough about Himself and His relationship to man that we can enter into a relationship on His terms. To the degree that we trust that He desires the best for each of us, and that human logic is no substitute for faith, in Him, we can have a peace that passes understanding, all provided for us by Him.

When we hear and accept the terms (gospel) for that relationship we are then adopted and treated as children, that have much to learn. He often uses suffering to refine our thinking. Many become confused by the suffering but trust can turn suffering to blessings. We are humbled, we trust, we grow, we share the love of God, which is the basis for it all.

As Jesus answered a group in Scripture who wanted to know what they could “do” to do the will of God, He replied, “Believe on the one He sent.” Our thinking determines our actions and those motives merit blessings, or lack thereof. Paul said to habitually put on the mind of Christ, (Scripture) so how do we please God that He May love us? Believe that He is who He says He is, and bathe daily in His word.

***There are two ways to read the Bible: for selfish reasons and for unselfish reasons.
Most professing Christians do only the former way.
But you don't know the motives of others do please don't assume you know this about most Christians.

Please reread the challenge which is about in what ways do His adopted children please Him more to love them more. We know He doesn't love our sins and such stop our Holy Spirit connection with Him.
Not sure we can cause God to love us more knowing the fact that we cannot increase upon the love he demonstrated for us while we were yet sinners, Romans 5:8. Therefore I see your premise as flawed.
