I cannot get past.....many are called, but few chosen........

Many is not ALL....and the few chosen of the many is not all of the many called.....

There has to be a balance somewhere IMV!

"God so loved the world, that whosoever...."

God calls everyone in the world to repentance (Acts 17:30), thus choosing (or "predestining" ) to save anyone who will place their faith in Christ.

All are called, few respond.

My view on predestination is as follows...

God the Father predetermined that All who would come thru Christ would be received...obviously no all are called and he is under no obligation to call those who he knows will not believe....also babies and those born mentally incapable of making a decision are safe under the blood in my view based upon the words of David and Paul concerning sin reviving and him dying (Paul) ......salvation is open to all, creation testifies but only those called that believe will be chosen.....there is a fine line and a balance that must be struck with all scriptures on the subject....just saying and also saying there are truths and scriptures that I am still studying and open to learning or adjusting my view.

Hardly pal......12 tribes scattered abroad not only trumps your ridiculous notion but also makes you look foolish.....as well as denying the historical fact that there were remnant's of both Kingdoms.....some of the people from the Northern tribes fled to Judah and were carried away captive by Babylon and returned into the land....put down the commentaries and creeds and pick up the bible....it will set you free pal!
The Romans dispersed the Jews out of Israel.

Here is reference to just the Jews returning to Israel.

Try reading the book of Ezra.

Ezra 1 New International Version (NIV)
Cyrus Helps the Exiles to Return
1 In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, in order to fulfill the word of the Lord spoken by Jeremiah, the Lord moved the heart of Cyrus king of Persia to make a proclamation throughout his realm and also to put it in writing:
2 “This is what Cyrus king of Persia says:
“‘The Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and he has appointed me to build a temple for him at Jerusalem in Judah. 3 Any of his people among you may go up to Jerusalem in Judah and build the temple of the Lord, the God of Israel, the God who is in Jerusalem, and may their God be with them. 4 And in any locality where survivors may now be living, the people are to provide them with silver and gold, with goods and livestock, and with freewill offerings for the temple of God in Jerusalem.’”
5 Then the family heads of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests and Levites—everyone whose heart God had moved—prepared to go up and build the house of the Lord in Jerusalem. 6 All their neighbors assisted them with articles of silver and gold, with goods and livestock, and with valuable gifts, in addition to all the freewill offerings.

The tribe of Judah, Benjamin and the Levites with them are the kingdom of Judah returning to Israel. Get your facts straight from the Bible not made up by you.

Is that the first or second book of wikipidia?

What cannon is that in?

You are right, not many people choose to believe Christ's Divine Revelation to man.

And you expose nothing but ignorance of truth.....Listen Seoche...you are a law breaker and by default are in sin...You were banned once, came back under a different name which breaks the rules of this forum...good luck in iggyville because engaging you drags the truth through the mud!
Your hatred and insecurities are showing.

Nice try rebel soldier. Ever heard of Lucifers pride and rebellion and the Son of perdition? Doesn't sound like he's obedient to authorities. Now if you're a good soldier, YOU will obey your commanding officer. Take as an example the people of God who won so many battles and were saved from destruction whenever they OBEY God as their commander. Did you trust and OBEY your commanding officer in the Marines?

Why won't you obey the Lord Jesus when He says that "if you want to ENTER LIFE, obey the commandments. (Matthew 19:17)

...“Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? Luke 6:46

So by your own definition, you go to Hell if you deny just 1 of Christ's Divine Revelation to man; I hope you are a believer.

The law is in place until heaven and earth disappear according to Jesus. If we accept the grace of God through faith in Jesus we are freed from the penalty of the law. Sin is breaking the law. Woe to those rejecting Jesus because God will judge them according to the law.

Jesus stated that breaking the least of the law is as if you broke them all.

"And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent." (Acts 17:30)

All.

"But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice.' For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners." (Matthew 9:13)

And since all are sinners...

"Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink." (John 7:37)

Anyone is everyone.

THE NEW TESTAMENT LAW IS STILL BINDING ON US CHRISTIANS.
