So the gospel of grace in which Paul taught is a false gospel?
Jesus was teaching the Gospel of grace as well but in a different way, He was teaching that no one would be saved by their own righteousness and the law was about to be replaced.

The results are in: It seems that Christendom (or atleast this forum) is largely influenced by dispensational TV preachers and seminaries which pump out the pastors repeating this stuff.

Its a poor attempt to get away from repentance, because Paul preached the exact same holiness message as did Jesus. For all the free gift verses there are two Galatians 5:19-21s

Nobody before 1800s believed the gospels were only "for the jews" or a different gospel.
This is a MODERN INVENTION, wake up people, do some research on it. Absolutely made up modern american burger king theology, deception 101..

You could not be further from the truth....I have never seen dispensationalism preached on the networks nor the rightly dividing of truth, where have you been? The TV is full of prosperity preachers, and our communities are spreading the gospel of the kingdom....we have been watching it all fall to pieces, and Satan knew all along, after the victory at the Cross, to attack the grace message!! I love to see Paul in his rightful place! just where Jesus groomed him to be, our appostle!!
All glory to our father in heaven! Jesus Christ!

Hi John146, the gospel of Jesus Christ is clear. From the very beginning your gospel has gone fowl by bringing in all of your "additions" to the "True Gospel", You are preaching a counterfeit gospel and no more needs to said. Jesus Christ our Savior is the "True Gospel", and the "True Gospel" was preached by Jesus our Savior not the Apostle Paul. Your message is a counterfeit gospel through and through.

Matthew 4:14
From that time on Jesus began to preach, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near."

Uhhh Hevo???

The Jew today must trust the death, burial and resurrection of Christ for sins to be saved. The gospel message has to do with the preaching of words. We can not preach different words to different groups of people.
Jesus is the messiah.
Even though you word it different. Jesus is presented.
I don't have to use your exact template.
I am free to say messiah and tabernacle, priesthood, passover.
No foul.
No boggey man.
Jesus is the lamb of the passover, the priest on the cross, and the blood presented to the Father as the priesthood depicted.
Read hebrews for the typology.
What do you think hebrews is????
It is to HEBREWS...JEWS

If you were witnessing to a Jew today, what is the message you would share with him?
The early church had no NT.
They preached from the OT.
Jews witnessing to Jews.

The promised Messiah was prophesied to restore the earthy kingdom of David to the nation of Israel. That was good news to the Jews.
The Good news preached was not that at all.
They preached The messiah did come.

Show me anywhere the apostles taught davids kingdom.
Davids throne is alluded to in the last days. They preached Jesus/ and him resurrected and alive.
The gospel with signs,wonders,and miracles.
There is only one gospel.
Jewish prophecy and typology is never used on gentiles.
Gospel to the Jew is Jesus
Gospel to the gentile is Jesus

EDIT: forgot to add to my post (the below):

...the part about the last supper... where Jesus, in Luke 22:30,16,18 said [v.16], "I will not any more eat thereof [see v.15], UNTIL IT BE FULFILLED in the kingdom of God... I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, UNTIL the kingdom of God SHALL COME" (SEE ALSO Matthew 26:29, which states, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, UNTIL THAT DAY when I drink it NEW WITH [G3326 - meta - accompanying] YOU in My Father's kingdom." [see also what I'd said elsewhere re: Matt13 and their later Q re: this, in Matt24:3]. And then see Matthew 19:28 [parallel to Matt25:31-34's TIMING] which states [parallel to the Luke 22:30,16,18 passage], "[WHEN...]… ye also shall sit on 12 thrones, judgING the 12 tribes of Israel" (this is an earthly-located 12 thrones!)]

And then note 1Cor11:26's words (to,for, about "the Church which is His body"/US), "For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew/PROCLAIM the Lord's DEATH TILL HE COME" (that is, till He come in the Rapture FOR US--not His "return" to the earth), AT WHICH TIME [Rapture] we (the Church which is His body) will be CORPORATELY proclaiming something ELSE! ;) (beyond His "DEATH")

At the last supper Jesus said " i go to prepare a place for you, that where i am you may be also..."
That is heaven.
It all happens in heaven

The kingdom of heaven, the literal, physical kingdom on earth promised to Israel where the promised Messiah would rule on the throne of David.

As the word saved throughout Scripture is not always pointing to eternal salvation, the word gospel is not always pointing to the gospel of eternal salvation. As you said, gospel simply means good news. There are several good news messages throughout the Bible.

The disciples were preaching the gospel of the kingdom, yet they had no idea that Jesus was going to die on the cross for sins and be resurrected. How can one preach the gospel of salvation and not mention the death, burial and resurrection of Christ?

I would consider the whole Bible the good news, or gospel The leter of the law kills showing all for short of the glory of God. The Spirit of faith as the law of faith reveals God had suffered giving us eternal life. All thing work together to the good of those called by faith. No good news for those who remain faithless.

The literal temporal as that seen is a copy of the heavenly not seen. The throne of David a shadow . We walk by faith not by sight.

Luke 17:20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation

Can’t equate kingdom of heaven with kingdom of God. Ones physical, the latter is spiritual. Both were preached by the Lord, but Paul only mentions the spiritual kingdom of God.

The kingdom of heaven has been postponed due to Israel’s rejection of their King.

I want to make a separate topic of this:

Is the gospel of the kingdom different from the gospel of grace Paul preached?

In my opinion there is one gospel, because gospel just means glad tidings of good things. (or good news).

So whether its called Gospel of the Kingdom, grace, God, peace, doesn't matter. All of those are in the Bible, if we were to assume all of those gospels are different ones cause one is called the gospel of Peace and one is teh gospel of God, we would end up in an ABSOLUTE MESS.

I made this thread to "feel the waters" a bit and see where people on this forum stand on this issue. I hope I wont end up in the minority here, BUT as usual if scripture is provided to prove me wrong I will be QUICK to apologize, repent and CHANGE my views on it.
I am very much concerned about Matthew being "for the jews" and everytime something is brought up we go back to "its to the jews" or "when did Jesus preach 1 Corinthians 15:1-4" as if 1 corinthians 15:1-4 is all there is to the gospel.

Mark 1:1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;

Remember Paul also says who preaches another gospel is accursed. There is nowhere in the Bible where it says the gospel "switches" to a different one after the rapture happens or ANYTHING like that, that is pure reading into the text and assuming.
One...

Um they all point to Jesus being KING that is why its called - the KINGdom.

The gospel, in that Jesus is the one who qualifies being the son of God, because he died and rose again, being this longed for KING. Before Jesus died and rose again people were preaching that the kingdom of God was 'at hand' meaning near right where you could see him. That he is an earthly king becuase he came in the flesh and also spiritual king because he has the holy spirit.

They arent two different gospels they are the same just some people understood them in different ways. There arent two different Jesus its one...but obviously Paul came after Jesus died and rose again to tell the gentiles about it. Paul also explained how gentiles could be adopted into Israel. Thats something those who were Israel didnt really need to know as they were already Israel in the flesh...if your biological parents gave birth to you, you dont really need to further prove you their son or daughter do you. But as Jesus did say flesh and blood wont inherit the kingdom so Israel in the flesh had a harder time reconciling that fact. This is why Pauls explanation of the gospel to gentiles goes further and is much more detailed in the NT. And why everyone, jew and gentile needs to be 'born again'.

I hope that explains a bit more why there SEEMS to be a difference. Although its just my attempt to make sense of it, I dont think anyone seriously thinks Jesus would divide jew and gentile believers again when he makes the two one in HIm.

your on a roll ,we should point out that that's why in Acts 15 when they were arguing about whether or not the genties should be circumcised and follow the law or not the apostles pointed out that neither the Jews nor the gentiles were suppose to because they were both under the new covenant.

There are 2 gospels that are being taught. One is the gospel thats sealed with the blood of Christ.
The other is the self help gospel which is counterfeit .
Jesus said without me you can do nothing...but the counterfeit says you need to do this or that to achieve anything.
This counterfeit will team up with the one world religion in end times trying to make a mockery out of true faith.
Going back to the garden Satan siad you will be like god......that is the beginning of the counterfeit.
It's all over social media ....believe in your self.....God helps those who help themselves......name it claim it.
Be very aware of it because it is very deceiving.

2 gospels, both true, 1 of which is preached in the wrong dispensation, leading to destruction.
