The word practice is used in both Galatians 5:21 and 1 John 3:9 and practicing sin is descriptive of those who are not born of God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 contrasts the unrighteous who practice such sins in contrast with those who do not practice such sins and were washed, sanctified and justified. No contradictions, just scripture harmonizing with scripture. If the Roman Catholic church could not convince me that truly "saved" people can truly "lose their salvation" then neither will you be able to. Have a nice day.
Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men[a] 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Why would Paul tell believers not to be deceived concerning those things unless it was a warning?
Explained again Gal5:19-21 in relation to 1John3:9

Anyway, I have been on the internet long enough to know people rarely, if ever change their minds, so that was not my purpose.
You have a nice day too

My question is about a heretic according to God.

This is just my opinion; I do not believe God will allow a heretic into heaven.
See, your not being honest, if you ask 20 people you will get multiple views of what they think God considers heresy.

What do you believe God considers heresy? Just answer that question and people will answer yours.

People believe god instituted a works based gospel, that does not make it so,

The type of heretic that goes to hell, was never saved.

But a sheep lacking knowledge who has a genuine faith in Jesus as his Savior goes to heaven if they are born again and adopted.

One wheat and one tare may hold the same error.... the wheat has been made new born again and is lacking in spiritual wisdom (obviously not called to be a teacher in this state) .... the other is a wolf being used by satan pushing heresy.... (being used by satan to teach garbage)

141. hairetikos ►
Strong's Concordance
hairetikos: causing division
Original Word: αἱρετικός, ή, όν
Part of Speech: Adjective
Transliteration: hairetikos
Phonetic Spelling: (hahee-ret-ee-kos')
Definition: causing division
Usage: disposed to form sects, sectarian, heretical, factious.

139. hairesis ►
Strong's Concordance
hairesis: choice, opinion
Original Word: αἵρεσις, εως, ἡ
Part of Speech: Noun, Feminine
Transliteration: hairesis
Phonetic Spelling: (hah'-ee-res-is)
Definition: choice, opinion
Usage: a self-chosen opinion, a religious or philosophical sect, discord or contention.

(though I think it is safe to say, many specific forms of heresy would prove no genuine faith.... if we aren't trusting in Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior and born again and covered by His blood..... no justification)

(also you said "This is just my opinion; I do not believe God will allow a heretic into heaven." )

Using this example, the apposing views of end times prophesy would be considered heresy (it causes division) And God considers only one view to be true, which is why i keep asking what he means. Because according to the blank defenition he is giving a person who has the wrong view of prophesy will go to hell

I am not asking people what they think God considers heresy. I am asking if God allows a heretic into heaven.
And as was just proven, a person who believe in an apposing view of end times prophesy, is by defenition a heretic.

So if that person, who is a heretic, believes the one true gospel, and recieved christ and is given eternal life

Is that person going to go to hell because he is a heretic (causes division)?

You see the problem with your question? I am not biting, and many other people will not either.

They fell away because THEY HAD NO ROOT! JESUS is the root. HE is where we get ALL our sustenance from. These people NEVER had Jesus. Just a false confession of faith. These people were NEVER saved. If you don't have Jesus, our ROOT, you don't have Salvation.
Sorry, Penn Ed but where does the parable state it was a "false confession"

Jesus very clearly states in those on the way side did not believe, "lest they should be saved"

He makes a direct connection between the word "believe" and "salvation"

Your only choice is to say that the rocky ground people lost their salvation, however in terms of the big picture of the new covenant message we know this is not true.

So we know they were indeed "believers" saved and the "fell away" in that they did not continue to develop their faith and produce fruit.

The parable ultimately is about producing fruit......which are converts to the faith. :)

I want EVERYONe reading this thread to take notice of the fact that:

When I asked a question about Luke 8:13 i was ANSWERED POLITELY by the eternal security side without condescending remarks or talking down to me or telling me im a heretic. And i said THANKS.

However when I asked silas here to explain his position to me (SINCERELY might i add) he just talked down to me making it seem like im a LOST CAUSE, that my mind is closed and I cant understand. Talking about the most important thing in this world here too btw, SALVATION!

TAKE NOTE OF THIS GUYS! Which side is answering and how!

Tree is known by its fruit

At least Rosemaryx understands the question I asked. I am grateful at least one person in this thread was confident enough in their beliefs to answer my question.

Anyone who preaches a false Gospel will not go to heaven , but surely you know the answer to your question ?...xox...
Ephesians 1:6-7
The only people who do not go to heaven are those not covered by the blood of Jesus, even true believers can get caught up in false teachings sadly,

.....that is why one needs to diligently pursue truth apart from man made theology that is based down from generation to generation and based on the false interpretation of the supposed Bible scholars.

Be a good fact checker......a good Berean always:)

Those on the rocky ground are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away

So you don't have to keep believing once saved?

So you still will not narrow down exactly what you mean.

Then do not expect an answer. And dont get mad, its your own fault.

Amen, a non believer (a heretic by defenition) will not go to heaven

A believer who choses to believe the wrong view of end times prophesy (also by definition a heretic) will still go to heaven

So context MUST be considered before answering the question.

So according to you, heresy is JUST a false gospel, not anything else? (I have asked this before)

Forgive us, but if you ask a general question most will not answer until the question is confirmed and known, you gave to generalised of answers
EG...Does not Galatians 1:6-7 answer it ?...xox...
