Im not asking for absolute proof in God or christianity I just want my questions answered and being intellectually ready to make the final leap of faith. Im prepared to believe but I cant jump across the grand cannon like you guys

I find it very hypocritical for you people to judge me like im some attacker that has already made up my mind about christianity stuff like if you really sincerely search you will find the answers well what to hell do you people think im doing hear wasting my time with you if your just going to say that its a kick in the nuts to say i havent tried enough well im trying.
How do you know you have the holy spirit? dont u have to use the rational mind to understand that. Where did the idea of the holy spirit come from the bible right? well you had to use your brain to understand the words and then apply it by saying the holy spirit makes u understand. This is just circular reasoning again, Your also dodging my questions you arent answering my objections your hiding behind your own experience which your saying u cant trust based of the mind alone

This will be my last comment to you, if you want to discuss from a logical point of you, I am not your person. The Holy Spirit draws you to Christ, so from then on, he is guiding you, which means, you do not have to read the bible with your logical mind in order to accept it then part from the logical. I hope you find what you are looking for. Im sorry you find my words unhelpful
Aaron, God is real and He loves you very much. He is glad you are here asking us questions and looking for answers.
Each of us have at some point in our life, just like you, asked, "God are You real? Do You exist?"
Philosophy, human reasoning and pride cannot know God and will never find Him, no matter how much evidence is presented.
God must be approached with humility, a genuine heartfelt cry to know Him because I realize I desperately need Him for my own existence.
It's not humanly possible to believe in God. Faith is spiritually experiencing the reality of God, knowing Him and knowing He does exist and His Word (the Bible) is true. If I say it contradicts itself, then I have not understood correctly.

There's no definitive objective evidence of God, but there is subjective evidence.. It all comes down to belief, you either believe there is no God or you believe there is a God, you either believe in creation or you believe in evolution, etc. Everything that exist has a cause, if not a creator, than what? A Christian can't prove God exist anymore than an Atheist can prove no God exist. And for what its worth, there are no contradictions in the bible, despite what skeptic sites might allege.. jmo
My question still hasn't been answered if we cant know God how can you know through God? through the bible? thats circular reasoning to say that you can only know God if God reveals himself to you. first point I asked God to reveal himself to me and he hasnt why can't jesus just appear infront of my like paul. how convinent for paul. 2 i already know what you guys will say the bible reveals God and we know that from God's word. well how convenient to say that the bible is Gods word and thats how you know God because the bible says so. circular reasoning is a logical fallacy anything illogical cant exist
you can say there is no contradictions but clearly you didnt bother to respond to the contradictions i mentioned above. finally lets say im an agnostic i dont know if God exists. I said it previously im not asking for absolute undeniable proof for Gods existence i want my faith to be reasonable
Im curious why kind of christians are you protestant? catholic? how do you know which biblical interpretation is true?
I have to admit to you guys im not an atheist im a catholic christian i was too ashamed to admit this but now i am. My faith has been shaken by seemingly logical arguements im hear to have my faith completely restored because i dont feel peace

I was 25 years old, and began to realize life had no meaning because I eventually die so, what a waste. Why do anything? What's the purpose? Then, I thought.................life only has purpose IF there is a God. So, I knelt by my bed and asked, "God, if You are real, I want to know You. Help me to know You, please don't let me miss You."
Then, I went to bed. It was now up to God to answer. I was invited to a bible study and they had printed handouts that had a typo, every time they meant to type "Israel" they instead had typed "Isreal." LOL!
Somehow, that "Isreal" hit my spirit and I knew God is real! I started reading the Bible with my friend next door. We were smoking cigs and drinking trying to read the Bible! LOL! Ya know what, God started giving us understanding of His Word - the Bible. We sobered up over time and even stopped smoking. lol!
There's more to the story but, just know this......................God sees you and loves you! He wants you to know Him and He will make Himself known to you, just seek Him with ALL your heart. May God bless you with Himself!

Hear the cry of Aaron's heart. He seeks truth because he is seeking evidence. He doesn't want to believe a lie. Only You can provide the evidence he really needs........................the faith that is the evidence of things not seen and the substance of things hoped for. Help him Father, send Your Word and Your Spirit, in the Name of Yeshua/Jesus, amen. Thank You Father.

In truth there is no good evidence for Darwinism and evolution let alone atheism.
And on what basis do you make the outrageous and false claim that there is no evidence for the existence of God?
