Yep. A Christian can become ineffective for the Lord - but they can never be lost.
Sorry I did not know I was speaking the God.
Why do you want to claim what can or cannot be done and its effect, unless this matters to you for your own benefit?

I guess though if you are a brother hating murdering "Christian" you still have eternal life. According to the OSAS
still have?

Here is how can you prove us all wrong:

Find us a verse where ETERNAL LIFE, stops, or ceases to be? Is there ANY verse or example in the Bible where someone HAS eternal life, then doesnt have it anymore?

this obviously begs the question: "Then was it eternal to begin with?" but lets not let that get in the way. Lets just see: Can you provide a verse that states ETERNAL LIFE can be lost, forfeited, walked away from, or misplaced?

I think you miss-understand the gospel. It is about learning to walk in His ways
Wrong. The gospel is the good news that salvation is a gift, available to anyone who will believe Jesus shed His precious blood, died, and rose again on the third day to pay their personal sin debt.

You seem to believe it
is only about the success at the end
Nope. We have the victory the moment we believe.

But you never get to the end unless you try
Wrong. Jesus accomplished it all on my behalf. It is His work, His holiness, His righteousness, His sinlessness that is placed in my account. He took all of my sins - past, present, and future, and washed them away, never to be remembered again. I can never be condemned.

Jesus calls us to the path, and to the goal.
Again, what did Jesus not accomplish for our salvation that we must make up for?

And that changes anything

Lets say your right, and they are remmited and conversion, you better hope you never sin again, because once you do, your done. There is no more conversion.

Jesus paid for my personal sin on the cross, my unforgivable sin was stopped the moment of my conversion (unbelief).

Again, unbelief is the cause of damnation, not sin, jesus payed it all.
So, did you come from your mother's womb "born again" and free from the penalty of sin????

is only about the success at the end, otherwise it is pointless. But you never get to the end unless you try,
but maybe if you have always given up, you never achieved what you aimed at.

Jesus calls us to the path, and to the goal. I suspect you no longer believe in either.

I do not think you understood Bud. It is about SUCCESS before the Beginning of TIME.

2 Timothy 1:9 (HCSB)
9 He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.

Snake oil salesman. Take one swig and all your wishes are granted.

Listen to God. Paint the doorposts with blood and your first born will not be killed.
They then leave Egypt and go into the desert to party and worship an idol, to then be
killed and die in the desert.

It was more than just a one night event. But that is all you are offering.
Do not buy it. So unfortunately God speaks louder and clearer than you do.

Go to the post you are responding to, highlight the portion you would like to respond to, when you release the mouse you should get a little box that reads "reply"

Go to the portion you want to respond to.
Highlight it.
When you do then a popup of reply will come up.
So press it and then you can reply under it.

If you do not get reply then you can copy it.
Then hit the ...(down arrow key) the one next to the smiley face.
Then you see 'Quote'
When you press that two quote boxes appear.
Insert by pasting in the middle of ][

I use my Ipad. Not sure if it's different on a computer

I'm not going to waste space by quoting the posts in their entirety. It's why I included the post numbers so anyone can go back and read them all if they wish. They will quickly see what I posted in correct about you.
Ok....i understand.......I'm taking back what I thought about you. Lol

There is a logical problem here.
God could not declare someone has eternal life, because that would be an eternal declaration, and then condemn
them to the lake of fire.

We have examples of believers who are believers as far as we can tell, yet left the faith and walked away.
And we have warnings about testing, and making sure our calling, and continuing and striving and following.

But if you know Jesus, there is no problem. The difficulty comes when people do not actually know Jesus.
And worse still are not actually interested in Him or love Him but like being religious.

And it is here that people fall apart. They begin to blame others, and say the problems come from this group
or this teaching or this deception. But it always comes back to us and our walk. Until one is honest enough that
Jesus is always there waiting, we just need to call and walk, we will miss it all, every time.

Does their pardon await the moment they believe?
You seriously just asked me this question????? You didn't learn that in Sunday school?????

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

People who come in the backdoor , side ways , over the wall through deceit , will not enter the Kingdom of God , why , because they are deceivers ...
Jesus is the narrow path , liars and continuing lying is a sin that is being practiced in here...
Stop tearing our LORD to pieces , it is disgusting to see...
He is a beautiful gift from our Father above , He has saved us through the most horrific death , and all for our sins , enough is enough , Jesus said it is finished , so be it...xox...
