Have you notice that GodsGrace101 is now posting BORING for anything we TRY TO EXPLAIN ABOUT SCRIPTURE TO HIM. I have him on my IGNORE, but he just insists on being RUDE.

My guess is he had never read this scripture:

Romans 1:29-32 (NCV)
29 They are filled with every kind of sin, evil, selfishness, and hatred. They are full of jealousy, murder, fighting, lying, and thinking the worst about each other. They gossip
30 and say evil things about each other. They hate God. They are rude and conceited and brag about themselves. They invent ways of doing evil. They do not obey their parents.
31 They are foolish, they do not keep their promises, and they show no kindness or mercy to others.
32 They know God’s law says that those who live like this should die. But they themselves not only continue to do these evil things, they applaud others who do them.

Matthew 7:20 (HCSB)
20 So you’ll recognize them by their fruit.
I see many likes, awards, dislikes, clocks, etc. given out here.

So, only some are allowed to do this?
Boring is when one is speaking about persons instead of scripture.

Interesting how some can't take what they dish out!
Fun.

Who made the cake?
Me or God.....
You really need to understand more.

We were speaking about how we're to respond to God's love with good works/deeds.
We DO THE GOOD DEEDS.
Meriting credit from God is HIS doing....I don't know how much credit He gives me.....that will be up to HIM.

I just do what I think I have to do,,,,but, yes, I AM the one doing the work.
If you think this is taking God's sovereignty away from Him (which we were also discussing)
then YOU have a very low esteem of God...
Not me.
Last time I checked it was Christ doing the work through us as a living sacrifice and why ALL GLORY GOES TO CHRIST.......who produces the fruit....the ROOT or the BRANCHES..........see with your dogma you produce the fruit instead of the ROOT......you totally devalue Jesus......

Interesting concept.

A person is "in trouble" for wanting to please God.
Incredible.

Go read a post by @Argueless a few times.
Something just might sink in....

Again no honesty on your part......exactly why no one that actually studies buys the crap you sell.....and you know I was referencing the false dogma you sell...of a losable salvation that must be kept by what you do.....ZERO HONESTY WITH FRAN FOLKS......

Cute sayings you've heard somewhere.
The Holy Spirit was sent to help us do our works.

So what fruit have YOU produced with the help of the Holy Spirit?:

You belittle His sacrifice when you claim your works keep you saved.

You belittle His gift when you say salvation is earned.

You belittle His glory when you say you get some credit.

(these are all your quotes)
...Now about spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be ignorant. You know that when you were pagans, somehow or other you were influenced and led astray to mute idols. Therefore I tell you that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit. There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but THE SAME GOD WORKS ALL OF THEM IN ALL MEN. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. ALL THESE ARE THE WORK OF ONE AND THE SAME SPIRIT, and he gives them to each one, just as HE DETERMINES. 1 Corinthians 12:1-11

...Therefore JUDGE NOTHING BEFORE THE APPOINTED TIME; wait till the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and WILL EXPOSE THE MOTIVES OF MEN'S HEARTS. At that time each will receive his praise from God. Now, brothers, I have applied these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, so that you may learn from us the meaning of the saying, “DO NOT GO BEYOND WHAT IS WRITTEN.” Then you will not take pride in one man over against another. For WHO MAKES YOU DIFFERENT FROM ANYONE ELSE? What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not? ...Some of you have become arrogant, as if I were not coming to you. But I will come to you very soon, if the Lord is willing, and then I will find out not only how these arrogant people are talking, but what power they have. For THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS NOT A MATTER OF TALK BUT OF POWER.

Brother....read 1st Corinthians 13...what she wrote is false.....if love is not the source or reason behind what we do....IT PROFITS US NOTHING....SHE IS FALSE MAN.....do not buy what she sells
Good works profit us nothing.....
I rest my case.

Here....AGAIN. PLEASE SHOW ME WHERE these verses SPEAK OF LOVE....
The N.T. teaches us to do good works.........and to LOVE GOD....and our neighbor...and good works is a way to show our love for our neighbor.
THIS is salvation.

Galatians 6:9
And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

Colossians 3:17
And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

James 4:17
So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.

James 2:26
For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead.

Hebrews 10:24
And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works,

Matthew 7:21-23
Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’

Titus 2:7-9
Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, and sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us. Slaves are to be submissive to their own masters in everything; they are to be well-pleasing, not argumentative,

Philippians 2:13
For it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.

Galatians 5:19-26
Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. ...

James 1:27
Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.

2 Timothy 3:17
That the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.

Matthew 5:16
In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Titus 3:14
And let our people learn to devote themselves to good works, so as to help cases of urgent need, and not be unfruitful.

Colossians 3:23
Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men,

Micah 6:8
He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

Ephesians 2:8-10
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Matthew 6:1
Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven.

3 John 1:11
Beloved, do not imitate evil but imitate good. Whoever does good is from God; whoever does evil has not seen God.

James 2:14-17
What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

1 Timothy 6:18
They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share,

James 2:24
You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone.

Hebrews 13:16
Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.

One of the most ignorant things you have said.....especially the last line....the bible teaches no such lie.....and the Jesus of the bible saves eternally....your false god is not found in scripture
So a follower who follows Nazarene Church theology is now a false god.
Are you a protestant at all or do you defame fellow believers or perhaps are hiding your true beliefs?

If Nazarenes are following a false god, maybe the shoe is on the other foot.

I read it already.

You have NO SUPPORT for your position.
The verses above are speaking of PRESENT TENSE BELIEVING.

They are speaking of BELIEVING, which I repeat, few understand what it even means.

They are speaking of the Law of Moses....the TORAH. I don't know anyone that keeps the Torah (although some Christians attempt this).

Jesus will lose NOTHING but raise what God has saved on the last day. This is more complicated than this...but what's the use? You should study this.

They went out from us BECAUSE THEY WERE GNOSTICS....find out about how John was very concerned with that sect.

The promise is heaven. What are you waiting for??? Rewards?

God would like for us to be righteous....in Him...but righteous. Which only means RIGHT WITH GOD.
Are we right with God when we state obeying Him is not necessary?

We are JUSTIFIED,,,but are we SANCTIFIED...and does one cancel out the other also?
