Aren't you against them? Do you not believe that Satan is the god of this world?

Adams sin has allowed tenancy to transfer to Satan.

Satan is able to influence this world through those who are eager to do his will.

And those who do not have the gift of discernment are easily baffled by evil charismatic propaganda. It sounds good. It tickles the ears. It may tug at the heart strings or arouse greed or lust for power but it's like oceanic whirlpools that sucks lost ships into an abyss.

Yeah - we need Godly rulers, and I am very thankful for Trump. We need to pray and fight in the spirit and here in the arenas of man- political, social, etc. cause we live in a free country adn thats our duty really as rulers ourselves "by the people."
I agree, we need godly rulers but I dont understand what trump would have to do with that. Seems like he would be on the opposite end of the spectrum from godly rulers. He is a casino owner, casinos came from organized crime, do I really need to go further.

We should pray for our rulers, they need it more than anyone, but IMO it would do little good as most of them are so corrupt and have gone past the point of no return long ago. We used to live in a free country but all I see today are laws laws and more laws, most are very trivial.

The historical intent of the Republican Party was to abolish slavery. The original intent of the Democratic Party was to continue slavery -- that is what these are founded on. BUT, under Obama... "in the end days people group will rise up against people group.." has happened. Pray for America that she repents, the church, and God saves her.
The intent of the GOP was to end slavery as it was already ending in the other developing countries, russia ended theirs in the 1850s, and after that send the blacks back to Africa. Apparently they believed “those people” had no place here.

in America, the party whose military wing was and is the Klu Klux Klan continues to be the Democratic Party. The Party of freedom, equality, Godliness continues to be the Republican Party -- do some homework. There are those in both parties who want to cut of Social security and disability but they generally lose in a landslide. Obama bailed out the banks more grandly than ever in history and raised the deficit more than all other presidents combined -- do see "Obama's America" it is an eye opener - I suggest
I have done some homework on this and it actually shows the exact opposite of the GOP being godly. Lets take a closer look at some of these powerful republican leaders:

Clarence thomas - Monsanto lawyer then became a supreme court justice and then judged on court hearings between Monsanto and independent farmers. Everyone of those farmers were put out of business, lost land that had been in the family for many generations. Thomas also wrote much of the legislation that prevents farmers from saving seeds. Seeds are a free gift from the Heavenly Father, but Monsanto, supported by GOP, says not any more. this one hits at home for me as my family was farmers and we lost everything.

Dick Cheney – his companies made millions off the war in Iraq. 500 thousand dead children as a result of that war, and he made money off of that, his parents must be very proud.

Hank Paulson – lead the charge for the wals treet bailout. Also paid zero on the sale of all his goldman stock, saved him around 60 million thanks to GOP tax reform for the rich elite.

Ken lay – Enron – close personal frind of G Bush, he even flew George to washington for the inauguration on the Enron jet.

Angelo Mozilo – countrywide CEO – made his money off predatory loans. These loans specifically target the poorest of the poor and are designed to fail, the loan holder is left with nothing.

These guys dont sound very godly at all to me.

When Wilson sold out to the Federal Reserve Bank and a credit based economy was established, he handed us over to a corrupt banking system. An endlessly spiraling national debt is the result. Borrowing money to pay off debt is like doubling down on a loosing hand. Even the unwise servant who buried his masters gold, returned the gold and not a stack of unpaid bills.

What sence does it make for the USA to borrow money from a bank to save banks that squandered the money they had? Leaving taxpayer to pay of debts + interest in order to pay off the bankers that basically perpetrated the ripoff to begin with? Is everybody dumb?

No. Capitalism unchecked winds up being free trade, anyone being able to create their own life as God wills. Commnism's economic horrors are here to see in South Korea, Cuba, Venesuela and other places. USA and the world gave millions of lives and resources finallyh defeating the U.S.S.R. and the world rejoiced. Now satan has people like you fooled into thinking they were really right and America and free economies are bad. The onlhy reason that China still exists is that they switched to a capitalist economy heavily controled by the government. Sill a godless attrocity of a country.

Jesus did not say the government should take care of people He said The Church should take care of people. However, where the Church is unwilling or unable as in people who cannot care for themselves I agree that disability, some kind of aid is good. JOhn MCain fought for medical care for people - But Obama Care is a a scam of a scam - just let anyone take medicare like Congressman can if they choose. SImple
This sounds really good in front of a big crowd but when tried and tested we know for a fact it does not work. Capitalism unchecked will result in the US circa 1900. 14 hr work days, 6-7 days a week for a 1 room tenement you most likely had to share with another poor family. Little kids had to work in those factories as well.

This is pretty much how the Philippines are today, they had a fire over there a few years back, 500 workers died, 500 workers were crammed in a factory built for 100, no fire extinguishers, no fire exits, many exits were locked shut because the locks were broken. that is capitalism in its purest form.
Jesus taught to help those in need, thats it. There is no way to spin this one way or the other.

Nope and nope:)

You could only make this case about the government if we lived in theocracy where every person is a Christian. That has never existed.
Democracy does not work, it is a flawed system, since it is the will of the majority imposing itself on the minority.

You really have misapplied Luke 14:14

If you knew anything about capitalism you would know that capitalism is a system of check and balances, it is government interference in those checks and balances that causes problems.

There is no end result of capitalism because it is not goal based system trying to create utopia, capitalism is based on the premise that humans are flawed but very capable of innovation......

.........which is very unlike socialism, where people are incapable of caring for themselves and therefire seeks to create a false utopia where everyone is equally poor except for a few at the top.
most of my reply is on post 34 but just wanted to add a few more points.
what your calling government interference are laws put in place to make sure the tycoons dont take everything and trust me they will if you dont have anyone watching them.
california was at one time the strongest economy in the nation, the government deregulated them (removed the rules) and they are hurting badly now. this deregulation was lead by ken lay of enron. the result of these changes was people like enron bought power companies, cut off power to cities, and then traded off these outages making millions. bank leverage was increased making investments 10x more risky, many lost their retirements.
these laws go way back to the 40s, the people demanded these laws when they saw people like JP Morgan and Rockefeller destroy the economy and they didnt want to see it happen again.

capitalism is a good idea but it favors the rich and greedy. people that are only concerned with the bible, family and earning a living will always get filtered down to the bottom.

Yep, it's all me. You're right about everything. Happy?

You can't perform proper exegesis on the Biblical text you gave, you can't give a succinct definition of exactly who the poor are, you claim to be a Christian but openly say it's OK to insult people randomly, you obviously don't understand the concept and consequences of living in a fallen world, you don't understand the difference between faith in Jesus Christ and a satanic religion, and you just repeat the same tired talking points, over and over.

You aren't ready, or prepared for these kinds of debates.
its not all you, i was just as bad with the smart mouth things i said, it was un called for. im only human.

all one needs is basic common sense to get that passage, help those in need.
the poor are those in need. trying to establish different groups of poor sounds like looking for a way out of helping.
i dont think its ok to insult people. i make mistakes everyday.
living in a fallen world is not an excuse to live in a fallen state.
your opinion has been noted.

I really think you do not understand economic theory, this is all stuff from the media.

Capitalism is about supply and demand and people providing goods and services in an free and open market.

capitalism is a good idea but it favors the rich and greedy. people that are only concerned with the bible, family and earning a living will always get filtered down to the bottom
Trickle down economics is not a thing, again another term used my the media to brainwash those who have no background in economics.

Capitalism is the only system that has elevated the standard of living of people world wide.

i dont understand why you tell me i dont understand when i have given you many examples which proves i do have an idea of what i am talking about.
right now europe has a much better standard of living than we do and most of those countries are not capitalist. they are all social democracies. i was in europe for five years, there were very little large impoverished areas like we have in the US. half the people in my home town live below the poverty line. thats not just something in the misissippi delta, its all over the US, why so much poverty in this country and so little in europe?
there are some countries in europe that are in chaos, Greece and Ireland, yet they didnt get that way until big banks and the IMF started meddling in their economies, those are tools of capitalism.
capitalism creates more poverty, debt slaves. its the same thing that happened in the roman empire. rome had some of the worst poverty ever, thats why this country has always been called the new rome. thats what they want, a country for the few with the best government money can buy.

Big banks are not tools of capitalism...capitalism is against big banks.

You have given me no examples, my undergrad degree is in poli sci and economics, so I will be waiting until you give me something real to discuss not the typical leftist emotional rhetoric that is not based on reality.

Big banks are not tools of capitalism...capitalism is against big banks.
capitalism leads to big banks. banks profit off capitalism, they grow and expand at the expense of the working folks and eventually turn into big banks.

You have given me no examples,
every response of mine has had an example, such as:
california was at one time the strongest economy in the nation, the government deregulated them (removed the rules) and they are hurting badly now. this deregulation was lead by ken lay of enron. the result of these changes was people like enron bought power companies, cut off power to cities, and then traded off these outages making millions. bank leverage was increased making investments 10x more risky, many lost their retirements.

my undergrad degree is in poli sci and economics,
ok? my buddy has a degree in history, he knows nothing of history cause he partied to much in college and only knew how to take test but not so much learn the subjects. a degree is just a piece of paper, unless you have knowledge to go with it.

so I will be waiting until you give me something real to discuss
i have given you many

not the typical leftist emotional rhetoric that is not based on reality.
typical rhetoric is scripted copy paste type answers. every example i have given is going off memory that i have put together with my own thoughts with examples of how it works. with due respect you have not really provided anything of substance. lets review:
"capitalism is against big banks" why? you gave no reason.
"I really think you do not understand economic theory " why , you gave no reason
"Capitalism is the only system that has elevated the standard of living of people world wide" example? how about a before and after?

anyone can make a statement, if you provide nothing to back it up, such as the examples i have provided, they are just empty statements.

Part of my new philosophy is the Lord wasn't sacrificed so we could hoard money, argue political agendas or worship flags. We were save for another reason: Grace! We have a mission to spread the word! Not worship idols like oil companies or get involved with sorcery (big pharma) or bow to leaders that are just the Devils pawns. Adam was created to take care of Gods' garden here on earth. Look what's been done to it.

I'm an out of the box, politicly incorrect anti fascist/anti Marxist/anti Vatican Bible believing follower of the man who cleared the temple.

The politicly correct Nuevo Pharisees, Sadducees and Romans can't stand it. They spread rhetoric like a landscaper spreads manure. God is my judge and they can kiss my gluteus maximus.

I did not party through University and when I went to University, degrees actually meant the person demonstrated the knowledge, skills and understanding to earn the degree.

I know all about Universities presently, I teach for one and it is very rare for anyone to fail unless the are in STEM programs.

A false analogy btw.....

its not false your just missing the point. if i was in a court of law defending a client, and my argument was "i went to law school" therefore my client is innocent, how far would that get me.
rather than tell me you went to college, why not show me what you learned there. that make sense? sometimes im not the best at explaining things.
