Crap?
You think it's crap when he said we have to stop sinning and I asked the obvious question if he himself has stopped sinning?
Your real side is creeping out, Bub.
I could probably replace your contributions with one symbol.
It is like a child going about attempting to deface work and effort. We could all do this
yet we choose not to. You appear to not have learnt this.

It is really bugging you that you don't actually have a defense for your views, isn't it?

One of the passages where the word "repent" IS used, is in Acts 3, where Peter is speaking to "ye men of Israel"... note what he says:

Acts 3 -

12 And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?

13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son [/Servant] Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.

14 But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;

15 And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

17 And now, brethren [his Jewish brethren, that is], I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.

18 But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.

19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

Here, Peter is telling them to "metanoēsate" about the Person of Jesus Christ.
Peter was telling the Jews that they now had to go through Jesus for forgiveness of sins. That would covert them.

Have you sinned yet today?
Let me know when you do.
Because you will.
How would I know? Who is there to tell me? You seem to believe I will be aware.
My conscience can be clear and I still be wrong.

But it appears sin holds no problems for you, or the destruction it brings.
Why might that be? Is the world your friend and sin your constant companion?

If you everyday put a knife through your hand, would one day you stop doing it,
or are you so addicted to self destruction you would carry on behaving like this.
This is what sin does to us, yet you seem to be totally unaware of this.

Typical straw man argument. You are not fooling me or any of my brothers and sisters in Christ on Christian Chat with your perverted gospel of works salvation. So which false religion or false denomination are you associated with?
It is not perverted to obey God.

Well, that's disturbing. The Bible says the Holy Spirit convicts us when we sin. If you don't even know when you sin, you have a definite problem.

But it appears sin holds no problems for you, or the destruction it brings.

That was more scrambled than my eggs this morning.

I cannot defend what I do not believe. You seem to think I am works salvationist.

Paul summed up my simple view on faith.
I preached that they should repent and turn to God and prove their repentance by their deeds
Acts 26:20

So I have nothing to defend. We are to walk the way of Jesus, to be like Him.
If you oppose this you oppose scripture and Jesus.

Do you not understand who Jesus is and what He came to say?

Even the apostle Paul beat his body into submission so that he would not be disqualified as he preached salvation to others.
Okay, but the context here isn't merely about "sinning" [I'm not saying it couldn't also involve that, in other cases, somewhere, but I mean in Paul's case (this context)], and the "disqualified" is with regard to those he's preaching to (in their reception of his message)...

I'm not sure of what you are trying to say. Could you explain more of what you mean?

I have stopped sinning; and, if I did sin and see it, I OBEY BY REPENTING OF IT.
The very fact that you think you have stopped sinning, is an indicator that you are sinning, because this is self- deception and self-righteousness and you are trying to deceive those here.:(

I have stopped sinning; and if I do sin, then I obey by repenting of it.
Now tell us all if you have stopped ANY sin for Jesus.
You can't claim you have stopped sinning and then say "if I do sin..."

You are chasing your own tail.
