Fear that God will leave us is your foundational denial. I did not know this, thanks for telling me.

How much did it cost Jesus to die for us? Everything within Him, His pride, His status, His honour,
His truth, His position, His rights, His ownership, His submission, His defence, His pain, His dignity.

He did this all so that we might have life. He did it to show we are completely safe in Him if we
listen and obey and just take one step at a time towards His will and His ways.

If you are in repentance and in Him there is no fear, it is taken away, you are safe.
It is not difficult to get here, it is through repentance, turning from sin to righteousness,
asking God to forgive you and walking in His way trusting in the cross for forgiveness of our sins.
And one step at a time He changes us, from one state of glory to the next.

Now if our fear is to deny Jesus our hearts, to stop healing of sins of hatred, bitterness, envy,
jealousy, resentment etc. then we stop Him saving us, stop the work to bring us to the point
of His likeness and the goal of salvation. So here is the tension, are we prepared to die and
let Him in or fight until we meet face to face and find ourselves condemned of the sin we
refused to give up and the heart to be cleansed. Is this price worth it, when Jesus offers
us so much more in Him?

It is not a false teacher who preaches obedience to Christ.
It is if you peddle it as part of what saves us...especially saying one must BECOME A CHILD TO GET THE GIFT and then claiming a special REVELATION that few know.......you sound just like an ex member......so....who were you before??

How many times do you need to be told we are saved by grace through faith?......and anything beyond faith is the result of the salvation, sonship and faith WE ALREADY POSSESS IN CHRIST!!
Amen, we are saved by grace through faith, so that we might become like Jesus in our walk
of obedience and faith to Him to glory, Amen.

What has been changed is our walk of obedience, and to be like Jesus.
But remove this you remove salvation and the message of the cross.

The cross has always been the statement of it is possible to walk like Jesus,
watch me, I am doing it with my friends the disciples, and when I am gone,
they also will do this as an example to you for now and until judgement, Amen

Do you know we only die once, and then judgement?
How you answered implies you have no goal at all.

If you are not listening to Jesus, you certainly will not listen to me. God bless you.
Actually, my answer gives the ultimate answer Christ Jesus.

Righteousness in the New Covenant is much deeper than mere good or holy acts and adherence to rules and regulations. It is the very nature of GOD (that energizes us to do those good things).

Also take note, unlike the OT, righteousness in the NT is not earned by men but given freely as a gift from God.

The serpent said to Eve that God lied. Hath God said? The three words that doubt His Word. Is why obedience and belief is interchangeable. No one will step out on His Word if the thought is God can't be trusted to speak truth.

God is not a man that He should lie, nor the son of man that He should repent. Hath He not said, and shall He not do it?
Did God gave Adam and Eve a command not to eat from that tree?
Did they not believe God when He said it? They did believe God and obeyed Him. Only when they were DECEIVED did they DISOBEY God.

So be careful not to be DECEIVED and do not to follow the example of Adam and Eve's DISOBEDIENCE...

...Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
Galatians 6:7-10

...Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient. Therefore do not be partners with them. Ephesians 5:6-7

Does God scare us? Yes.
Is it hard to follow Jesus? Yes
What is hard? Being brutally honest with ourselves and learning to trust Him with healing
and wholeness as we walk in faith and not sight.

Without me getting scared a lot of things I would do that I should not.
I have almost died and maybe I am not scared enough.

Fear is not our problem, our problem is being scared of God and sin, and not taking seriously
the cross and how to follow as well as the cost involved.

But if you think this is just a jolly trip with Jesus into heaven, sorry guys, that is not Jesus
of scripture, but only of delusion and easy believism.
They have faith in their faith.

I keep a record of all the groups I have ever joined. I don't have this site as a place I have joined before, but some times things seem familiar here. I have searched the members list and do not see any names I have used.

See posts #93,842 and #94,011. You remain confused about repentance.
Isaiah 59:20 “The Redeemer will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who repent of their sins,” declares the Lord.

Luke 17:4 Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying ‘I repent,’ you must forgive them.”

Luke 24:47 and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Revelation 9:20 The rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the works of their hands. They did not stop worshiping demons and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone, and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk. 21 Furthermore, they did not repent of their murder, sorcery, sexual immorality, and theft.

Jeremiah 8:6 I have listened attentively, but they do not say what is right. None of them repent of their wickedness, saying, “What have I done?” Each pursues their own course like a horse charging into battle.

Ezekiel 18:30 “Therefore, you Israelites, I will judge each of you according to your own ways, declares the Sovereign Lord. Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall.

Revelation 16:11 and cursed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, but they refused to repent of what they had done.

Revelation 16:10 The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness. People gnawed their tongues in agony because of their sufferings and because of their sores, but nevertheless they still refused to repent of their deeds.

Acts 8:32 Repent of this wickedness and pray to the Lord in the hope that he may forgive you for having such a thought in your heart.

2 Corinthians 12:21 I am afraid that when I come again my God will humble me before you, and I will be grieved over many who have sinned earlier and have not repented of the impurity, sexual sin and debauchery in which they have indulged.

They have faith in their faith.

NO, we have FAITH in the REAL JESUS CHRIST, the Author and Perfecter of our FAITH.

Hebrews 12:2 (ASV)
2 looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and hath sat down [SIGNIFYING OUR HIGH PRIEST HAS FINISHED OR COMPLETED HIS SAVING WORK OF SALVATION,] at the right hand of the throne of God.
