So being saved is not salvation????

And again, You got it wrong. Obedience cannot be done without love

And no one can LOVE until GOD LOVES THEM FIRST by SAVING THEM/
Hi E-g agreed, the preeminence of love, "agape love" we may know how to give earthly love but only agape love first comes from the Father and God's love is then shed abroad in our hearts and we love because He first loved us. And this agape love is the same love that the Father has for the Son in John Ch17 Jesus' high priestly prayer;

So that by Gods abiding love in the believer we are eternally saved so that we may serve and obey an awesome loving God. The same love God has for His Son is the same love we as believers have, of course I know you know this so I am only stating a promise of God to all believers...:)

John17:26
I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that "the love you have for me may be in them" and that I myself may be in them."

1 Corinthians 13:4-8,13 -- "Agape Love"
4) Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5) It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6) Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7) It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8) Love never fails.
13) And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

How ignorant to teach that it is shameful to obey God.
No one teaches or says that (nor have they been banned for that reason)

Thats all in your head.

It is a shame to claim we can save ourselves. And that obedience leads to salvation, Not EMPOWERED by salvation

Amen

People can not comprehend this.. The mock it by thinking they conjur up love all by themselves. Peter could not even admit he agape loved jesus after walking wiht him for three year. His pride had to be broken.

But look what he did when God broke his pride and still showed his agape love for peter..

Agape love is not specific to believers, it is general to the whole world

Matt 24:12 agape - love
Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold,
but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.

2 John 1:6 agape - love
And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have
heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.

1 cor 13:4 agape - love
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

We are made in Gods image, because love is in our hearts from the beginning.
Sin destroys the showing of this love and it is buried under layers of protection
so we lose sight of who we really are and can say brutal things without knowing
the impact they are having.

So to strip someone of their faith and security in Christ, that His love is not outstretched
to a repentant, contrite believer who trusts in the cross is a cruel, unchristian act.

To warn those who are walking in rebellion and unbelief, while claiming the promises
given by Christ is our calling. We are called to be like Jesus, to honour His will and ways,
so to condemn aspiring to walk in them or acknowledge Christs work in our lives is not
showing agape love but rather the opposite.

If someone stabbed themselves in the hand, you would warn them about the damage
they are doing and that they need to see a doctor. So to continue in sin is to damage
ourselves and others, but to flee wickedness and seek Christ is to find life, life eternal.

I would like to know "What happened?", as well. I think it is common knowledge that GodsGrace101 aka Fran was banned and returned to this forum illegally. Did she get banned again does anybody know?

"that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust." (Matthew 5:45)

It's the very gift of salvation that makes one a child of God. You don't become His child first and then get salvation. Those who are not saved are children of the devil. (John 8:41, 44)
We have to be accepted by God to be adopted as sons.

Can you give a single example from the Bible where one was born again, and they gave back salvation, or God took it away?
There are warnings from Jesus for a reason.
Would you like the warning scriptures?

If you can give just one, I'll admit my error and proclaim you are right to the whole board.

Just....one.
Saul had the Holy Spirit taken from him, and David asked God not to take the Holy Spirit from him.

Your NOT trusting Jesus,

Your trusting YOUR WORKS (IE SELF)

If you TRUSTED JESUS, You would RECIEVE his GRACE GIFT, and praise him by allowing HIM to sanctify you. NOT IN FEAR, but in hope BECAUSE YOU HAVE ETERNAL LIFE, thus you KNOW you can stand boldly on the last day, NOT BECAUSE you were RIGHTEOUS. But because GOD SAVED YOU!

I already gave you the passage, as usual, you ignore it..or twist it to mean something it was never meant to mean

Jesus said anything noty done out of lobve us sin

The bible says we LOVE because GOD LOVED US FIRST

Conclusion

No one can love (not sin) UNTIL they have first experienced the love of God in salvation.

But you think you are more powerful than everyone ese and can some how conjur enough love to not sin and thus earn your salvation

Good luck!
God says love IS obeying His commands.
God says the whole law is about loving.
