But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it— the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins.

O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? It was before your eyes that Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified. Let me ask you only this: Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law or by hearing with faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh? Did you suffer so many things in vain—if indeed it was in vain? Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith—
Amen,

This verse PROVES those tho think salvation must be perfected (maintained) in the flesh are foolish..

Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

For, being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own, they did not submit to God's righteousness.

10 Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”

11 The woman said to Him, “Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that living water? 12 Are You greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, as well as his sons and his livestock?”

13 Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

How did Jesus say we get this water that one can DRINK and NEVER thirst again?

ASK.

3 righteous behaviours
1. Faith righteousness
2. Heart righteousness
3. Acion righteousness

We are saved by faith, which cleanses and purifies our heart which is shown in our behaviour.

8 Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
James 4

1 Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that
contaminates body and spirit
, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.
2 cor 7

3 Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure.
4 Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.
1 John 3

8 "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith
we are proclaiming:
9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God
raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Rom 10

17 But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly
obeyed the form of teaching to which you were entrusted.
18 You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness
Rom 6

10 For, "Whoever would love life and see good days must keep his tongue from
evil
and his lips from deceitful speech.
11 He must turn from evil and do good; he must seek peace and pursue it.
12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their
prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil."
1 Peter 3

11 Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what
is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God.
3 John 1

yes if yu see what i said about it too.
but if God maintains it then what of our free will, are we calvinists?
No

Free will is still in effect

People chose to stop trusting people who let them down, Or who fail them continually.

Does god do this?

Then why would you EVER stop believing he died on the cross to save you from you sins? But he was just a fraud who died a martyrs death nothing more.

Amen,
This verse PROVES those tho think salvation must be perfected (maintained) in the flesh are foolish..
22 You see that his faith was working together with his works and his faith was perfected by works.
James 2

12 Not that I have already attained this – that is, I have not already been perfected
but I strive to lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus also laid hold of me.
Phil 3

24 Now I rejoice in what was suffered for you, and I fill up in my flesh what is still lacking
in regard to Christ's afflictions
, for the sake of his body, which is the church.
Col 1

The concept everything is established already in Christ by just faith is just delusion in what God
has called us to be in Him.

17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs--heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed
we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.
18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
19 The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed.
Rom 8

If we are co-heirs with Christ we must be walking righteously, pure, clean and Holy.
