Um, you just made our case right there.
You condemned yourself when you judged me for supposedly judging fruit, then you judged my self control, which is a fruit.
Romans 2:1
I didn't start judging fruit until I was accused of it 100 times first. And there is nothing wrong with judging fruit.

Not saying you are a child of the devil. Just saying that John says that actions manifest who is of God and who is of the devil. By your definition, John was a fruit inspector.

I wasn't inspecting fruit before. I went ahead and started since I was accused of it umpteen times.
Want proof? Before I asked you for a post that demonstrated I was fruit inspecting. And all you could come up with is a general statement that I said applied to EVERYONE..

Wit is not a fruit, neither is argumentation, so I am not inspecting fruit, O grande Inquisitor.
Brother, I am not refuting what you are saying, I am sharing in essence about different people and
how certain theological ideas are worked out and preached about.
Simply put, we are to be examples of walking in Christ and to shine a light on sin, whether rebellion
against God or walking in sin. And sin here is quite simply theft, sexual immorality, slander, lying,
making good people in Christ out to be evil deceivers intent on destroying Christs work.
Insanity and the beginning of the collapse of any society is when good behaviour becomes evil and
evil behaviour the acceptable face of humanity. And what drives this evil behaviour is often scapegoating
another group as the true evil people, and ones own group the innocent party.
The only way in Christ we respond is just by following Christ and blessing those we meet. This is because
we are not into winning arguments, but actually being a light to the world.

Now this is a good aim, if we were talking about evil behaviour.
What we are talking about is a guy who says he sins all the time and cannot stand
people who suggest they behave differently to him. It is funny, because this is a posting
forum with a few sentences put by contributors. One has literally no way of knowing someone
elses life whether a statement about themselves is true or not. So zero ability to judge, but
100% ability to project and then judge. And this is in essence the 100% example of what judgementalism
is, judging people not by who they are or what has happened, but merely by ones own agenda.
I can rightly judge this behaviour as sinful and wrong, from beginning to end. It has no foundation
either in truth, Gods word or sanity. It is merely aimed to create condemnation in the readers hearts so
that they might feel condemned and thereby, in the writers mind, rest on Christ alone to forgive them as
they continue sinning and failing without break.
It is like a group in a bar, drunk as anything cheering that God has saved them, while doing all the
worldly things they want, enslaved by sinful desires and denying there is ever any freedom.
It is like Jesus saying to the woman caught in adultery, I have forgiven your sins, so carry on like before,
you are going to heaven, congratulations. No Jesus says this

John is saying if a believer hates, he does not know God, but if a believer loves, he has understood
the essence of who Christ is.
Love is about being vulnerable and coping with rejection and hurts. And people will say hurtful and
difficult things no matter how good you are, because sin in essence is about shutting love out and hurting
others, in a sense, without knowing it. To the hurter they are just being true to the hurt within, which tells
them we are all hurt and fallen, so hurting others is to be expected.
In a strange way this is true, but in Christ we can respond in blessing and love, to those who wish to provoke
anger and rage. It is how Christs love overcomes the world, literally, that the more others try and prove these
