I have a Muslim friend, sad thing that by mistake I questioned his beliefs in ways i shouldn't have but I know that he doesn't believe Jesus is the Son of God. He considers it wrong that we as Christians drink an alcoholic drink(wine) for communion... he is very knowledgable too actually.. he knows many things about Christianity but keeps telling me that the Bible is adulterated.. and firmly believes in Islam. Am afraid we won't be talking anymore which makes me feel bad...and i suppose it's my life and my actions that must bear a testimony than my words.. but the least i could do is pray for him... and stop being selfish..
Do not beat yourself up.....Jesus spoke to this....John can and was as straight laced as they come, Jesus came eating and drinking with sinners, prostitutes and publicans.....He said....NO MATTER who I sent or how they came you would not dance....A Muslim will remain blind to the truth regardless of how faithful you may or may not be as long as they refuse to acknowledge the truth

You don't have to be mature to bear fruit. You don't have to have perfected fruit to bear fruit.

John 15:2- Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

Obviously, the believer is bearing fruit and then the Father purges him or her to bear more fruit, and the process is continued all the days of their lives (or should be)

Andrew began to bear fruit the day he met Jesus

Philip began to bear fruit the day he met Jesus

The Samaritan began to bear fruit the day she met Jesus
BLAH BLAH BLAH........no one bears INSTA FRUIT......get over it pal and quit being a whine bag

SO what....that proves nothing concerning the drivel and blather you continue to whine about

Curious if your name came up in the past week, or if you decided it was time again to dredge up this issue you like to bash DC with.

I honestly don't know which.
The latter....I do not even address him and he comes in and starts bloviating.....I just need to ignore his drivel

You guys, (Budman, DC, EG, GB9, etc) keep coming at me with your opinions and philosophy, and I keep answering with scripture. Because you have NO scriptural basis for your refutations.

So the answers y'ALL have given have increasingly devolved into o_O, so if you don't mention or quote or refer to me again, I will bid you adieu. It's been interesting at least.
HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHHAHAHHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAH wow man.......another cake taker

I just read that 5 times. Can you please show me where he mentioned your name, or you specifically?

Because all he is doing is talking about an issue. HE never agreed not to talk about that issue.

But YOU said you weren't gonna come back unless someone brought you up.
EXACTLY.....so...when you say someone named you by name and they have not......what does that make them.....??

Isreal is one promise, It is the fac t that God promised them as his people to do some things, He also gave them a specific inheritance. Non of this means Israel is saved though, this is not a salvic covenant between God and Israel.

And God has made specific promises to her, even promises that he has not yet fulfilled (future prophesy)

Some believe the church has replaced isreal. And these promises belong to them. This is not true

The church is composed of all believers (jew or gentile) from Adam until the last man or woman who will ever come to christ.

That is the difference
btw you are off topic LOL....we are talking about "Not By Works"

NIV1984 Romans 2:1-11
God’s Righteous Judgment You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. Now we know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. So when you, a mere man, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment? Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, tolerance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness leads you toward repentance? But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed. God “will give to each person according to what he has done.” To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For God does not show favoritism.

NIV1984 Romans 2:12-16
All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous. (Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law, since they show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them.) This will take place on the day when God will judge men’s secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares.

Unfortunately you are wrong, 100% wrong. Confession of faith is the first fruit of faith.
So important is this confession is it is linked to salvation itself.

8 But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming:
9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
Rom 10

So many listen to the cynical attitude of the heart, which is just saying you are a sinner just like
me, so all you are saying is a lie, and I with this truth can say ........ which is a slow working of
Gods word into our lives, without much effect or purpose.

Now hard hearts will go to this like a duck to water, because it is the way of the world.
And it is simple to say my heart is so messed up, no amount of analysis will get it sorted.

And this is true, but obedience with Jesus and the cross before you, will change you, everyone
who believes. This is the promise of the cross, action in faith followed by growth and healing
from the Lord. But we have to put faith into action or nothing happens.

Now unbelievers will always insult, slander, oppose, invent, lie, but it does not change these
spiritual realities. Kick the bucket of the heart and what flows out, love and the joy of the Spirit,
on anger and self justification.

Our witness in Christ is an eternal witness, born on the hard plains of lost souls search for love and
life and finding it in Christ Jesus. Millions testify as I do, not because we think these things, they
are who we are, Jesus has bought us and made us as a living testimony to His work, Amen.

Jesus does save His elect eternally, but we do not know who are His and who are not.
Security is a fickle thing like being married. The relationship is either alive, or it is dead.
Some kill it, and give up, others invest and sow, finding out what is and how it works,
while others destroy and pull it apart.

So security is first in knowing where your heart is, and what is ones priority.
Secondly it is spending time in the word and with God, walking in His ways and growing
in Him with a clean purified heart.

What hope is there if one has never let the Lord purify ones heart, never let go, never truly
opened up and been vulnerable.

I was sharing with a young man yesterday about my life and what I had learnt in life. It mattered
to me I began to feel nervous. It mattered that much, I wanted reassurance, but also that I was
vulnerable. Only here, where things matter dearly, can we know ourselves in Him.

Jesus sweated blood, knowing what lay before Him. He calls us to follow His way and find ourselves
in this place also. Jesus is a stunning Lord, a stunning person, a stunning giver of Himself, He breaks
me, He humbles me, and reduces me to praise and wonder, that He should choose us and call us
His children, a people after His heart. Thank you dear Jesus, you are more precious than anything I
have and own and have achieved, to you I owe everything, Amen

Their key belief is they are sinners without the ability to walk righteously in communion with
Christ, FHA, faith, heart and action. Scripture is so clear this is the way, and through walking it
we are refined and transformed as we strive and struggle through the issues.

God bless you

10 And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please
him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,
11 being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may
have great endurance and patience, and joyfully
12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the
saints in the kingdom of light.
Col 1

Oddly when we come with the path we are meant to walk, these folk say we are hypocrites
denying our sin and our incapability to walk like this. Sounds like lost sinners pretending
to know Jesus. The door is always open, humble yourselves before the cross, confess your
sins and He will lift you up, Amen
Oh no dcon put an X on my post. I am so distraught, my anger is rising, how dare he, I mean
it is really the end, what is the world coming to, to allow such behaviour.

Joking aside, thank you, I really appreciate it actually matters this much anyone openly expresses
their feelings. It is so much more healthy for people to be honest and open about their likes
and dislikes. I for one do not understand the anger, but then the anger comes from peoples
past, so of course I do not understand it. God bless you

I wrote this because over a few weeks it really bothered some that individuals reacted
negatively to their contributions. But if you look at who they are and their history, why would
anyone expect anything else. It makes me think that people contribute here for reassurance
and affirmation, even though they know some responses can be completely designed to be
discouraging and condemnatory. But that is often stimulating, and lively, which you could say
is odd. But you can learn the best lessons from your enemy, which is one reason we are called
to love them, just as the Father loves them. Amen

I think we get confused between what CAN happen to us, the CONSEQUENCES we face, HERE, on Earth, vs. our Salvation. I don't see in the text where Peter says he lost his Salvation.
I am not saying he lost his salvation. You missed my point.
