I would think to those who beleive in a sign wonders gospel miss the mark of Cain .Its an evil generation, natural man (walking by sight like that of Cain ) that does seek after a sign. The last as the sign of Jonas.

He should of bought the gospel truth rather than selling it seeing no value in the spiritual things not seen rather than killing the messenger. His punishment cursed from the earth and no rest in his work was more than he could bear. The Sabbath rest that Christ did bear for his brother whom he murdered .

There is not one reason why we should look for a literal mark. .John who penned it knew the mark was the mark of Cain (666) natural unconverted man.

The idea that it stayed a mystery until smart techknowolgy advanced is not taught in the bible .

As of the reformation we are the temple of God. In the future his glory will be the light there will be no darkness no night.

God is not a man as us. The one time outward demonstration in the flesh typified as sinful is over. 2 Corinthians 5:16 makes it clear there will not be another demonstration of the power of the unseen Holy Spirit .The veil represented the temporal flesh is rent. We know Christ no more forever more by that in which the eyes see, the temporal.

Its the authority of God in us his temple, not of us.

At least I am willing to carefully re-examine my beliefs on a very conflicted, highly debated topic in Christian doctrine.

Ok back up to where you first quoted my post about the mark,image ect.

In Revelation 13:15 the beast is said by the Scriptures to be going to kill those who don't worship his image. Now if they were deceived and and worshiped his image then they would be spiritually dead but it don't say he kills the ones who worship his image it say he kills the ones who wont. So they are spiritually alive and he physically kills them because they wont worship his image.

In Revelation 19:21 those who are deceived are spiritually dead and he spiritually killed them. The problem is with what you saying if they are spiritually dead because they took the mark and worshiped his image then at the Lords coming they are already spiritually dead and so them being given to the sword and eaten by birds can only be physical because that's all that's left.

So who you need to convince this is all spiritual is fist Jesus Christ my Lord and then the beast because they both seem to be going to physically kill them or physically give them over to the sword and the fowls according to Scripture.

If at some future date the whole Temple system was to be brought back again why would Christ tell the Samaritan woman
this ?

Then on the wing of the temple,,not just any temple,,one seen as God as Holy an abomination is set up and pollutes it? and he defends that temple.

Az,, I do realize that you have been a member of CC for 24 days and you may not yet see that although we do differ in opinions we do love one another and respect each others opinions. Geesh...was not aimed at you Grace, but rather the misapplication of CAIN in the above post..........try as people may try.....the MARK is an identification process and IDENTIFIES ALL on the planet with the 1st BEAST and is the NUMBER or MARK signifying HIS NAME............

That's a good thing. The correct way to interpret the scriptures is to view then "in Christ". They're fulfilled by him and in him. Many "believers" are waiting for someone to return who supposedly lives within them.
