understand the Lords will

I can see Ephesians 5:17 in that. last time I checked in my profile, Ephesians 5:17 is my favorite Bible verse

It's sobering, God want us to know His well

high-ranking actually means I must be the lowest and many others are so much
more gifted and walking closer to Jesus than I am.

I am merely a servant who desires to share and understand the Lords will, His heart
and how we can walk in it.

Budman is suggesting everyone is a sinner, sinning all the time, with no victory or overcoming
evil with good. What some regard as wisdom is to call believers sinners, yet not specify what
about. Paul was always specific about sin in the churches, and confronted, else he called the
people of God, pure, holy, redeemed, washed, purified, temples of the Holy Spirit.

If we know nothing about our brothers and sisters just their witness, and the indwelling of God
in their lives, we can but conclude they are pure and blameless. So this is the contrast I have
between our example we are to follow and what accusers are doing with no foundation.
There are Christian who consider me a very strong Christians and for soul winning team, our team is considered "a strong pack"

But deep down I know that I'm a broken sinner, a mess, the mess that the public does not see

But partly glad that privacy protects our witness

If I didn't record any true authentic emotion in my testimony, it will be nothing but a status quo.

As a humbling thought: without my testimony, without the God that my testimony describes, I'm nothing

And sometimes, you present yourself sober-minded with wisdom, a part of me think you could be a good moderator of cc.com site but that's just my opinion
You make me laugh. Do you not know when you realise a reality about God, the feeling you get
is not a blank status quo, but yes, finally insight. Your words testified to this, which is a relief,
which you talk about desiring to return to this experience and the associated feelings.

When the opposite happens, and things fail to work out, the disappointment, is a sadness, which
again is an emotion. It is literally impossible to live life without these ebbs and flows, summed up
often with its been a good day today or a bad day.

Thank you for suggesting I have a sober mind. I try to see things from all sides, and to feel the rawness
of peoples expressions, because it helps to understand why some extreme things a written, over a few
words or ideas expressed. One thing I admire about Jesus was His ability to read peoples minds and
intensions and then respond. This gifting I often lack, but maybe also it is a good thing to not know
what others think, as it can confuse the issues. God bless you

Irreducible complexity is probably the only way to describe the moment of that desired experience, hardly any earthly experience can possibly piece together like that, it's awe

…..all sides that do not go against your feelings and emotions. anything that does, like the actual definitions of the words in Scripture, you ignore that.

most of us get that feelings and emotions do NOT create reality, facts do. maybe one day you will see this.

We are all broken sinners at the start. Jesus rebuilds us and makes us different.
There are no limits to what He can build and how new things can appear that were not
there before, because love is at work in us.

I remember having this feeling, that I came from a small family, not very open or supportive,
so I could only ever relate to others from similar families. It was like a solid reality. Then one
day Jesus touched this, and I saw it was simply not true. Love flows no matter the situation,
or experience, that Jesus defines the how, the where and the why. I can get close to all in His
people, and share as one real family in Him. Something changed in me that day, thank you
Jesus, Amen.

have you ever had a toothache? and have you ever experienced how feelings can seem to dominate our lives

and also in my apologetics against atheists who believe that physical reality is the only reality I would use concepts like "subjective experience" to refute their errors

Or
Explain why psychology is considered as a science

Hi gb9,
You like to express something generally, yet without content. Your emotions drive you to express this
emotional response to me, without facts, while claiming facts are your message. Rather ironic, showing
you are your own example of what not to do.

If I remember rightly, your factual position is we cannot be purified and cleansed, just sinners lost in
slavery to sin, pointing to Jesus. All this is just what the world does, though they say Jesus was just a
moral teacher, and wanted to share love as the basis of life. But maybe this is actually higher than
the position you are taking, denying even the value of His morality, as an impossible goal. :)

Does worship exist?

John 4:23 can quickly proof how deceptively simple that question is.

For worship to exist, it implies that spiritual Truth exist

Or at least you do not deny that there are many man-made religions right

Okay in John 4 people will worship neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem

Or there's no such thing as stupid questions because it's possible that we might fail to appreciate how deep it could be

Then stop your hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, etc., sinning.
If you only committed 10 sins a day (low estimate, considering our thoughts, words, and deeds) that's 70 sins a week, 280 sins a month, 3360 sins a year, 16,800 sins in 5 years, and 33,600 sins a decade.
If you have a single one of those sins attributed to your account, you are hopelessly lost, damned, on your way to a fiery hell.
If I commit 50 sins a day, and you only commit 1, are you any more saved than me?
The only people I know who think like this are legalists.
And it has no love or insight or context or content.
I could create both a perfect day view and a failure day view, but it would not change
ones behaviour. Because our behaviour is dependent on our loyalties and our training.

I every time you feel pain, you swear and curse, guess what you will do next time you feel pain.
If you want to respond differently you need to establish a new way of handling pain, which you
are happy with, and this will become your new way of dealing with things.

Life is not actually more complex than this and we can become a different expression in our
lives through choice. Start by looking at the best in others and start complementing people for
the good things you see. Suddenly the negative thoughts, critical thoughts and words will
receed, and a new set of relationships will start to emerge. Most of our behaviours are learnt
and become embedded is us without noticing, but in the light Jesus can begin to change how
and what we do. This is what it means to put off works of the flesh and put on works of the
Spirit.

But what is listed by Bud, is just defeat and condemnation, abdicating responsibility and not
learning to walk in faith and follow Jesus.

You're right, I would not be surprised if people quit because of negativity

And if people fall from grace then the negativity will be held accountable for being a stumbling block

Yes, because when I sing praise to God, my heart soars, when I sing in the Spirit,
I am lifted up, the words I speak and sing, I sing to Him for God to hear, and I know
this is called a sacrifice of praise.

And God comes to His people, and blesses them, with spiritual gifts and His presence,
and people are moved in song, in prayer, in adoration, and their hearts are lifted up.
It is totally subjective and emotional, but are His people it is also our hearts.
God bless you

Hebrews 13:8 - Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever

Sustained yesterday, sustained today, sustained forever

Once saved, apply Hebrews 13:8 to that

Therefore, osas is true

Else, that "once saved" violated the sameness of a Bible verse Hebrews 13:8
AMEN......I WILL NEVER leave thee or forsake thee <------THIS verse alone proves it.....if salvation is losable or can be forfeited....JESUS WILL LEAVE THEE and FORSAKE THEE........

do you believe that if i become a hindu today that i can never return to Jesus? its over forever?
What he does not understand is that the very verse he uses to "prove" a losable salvation actually proves it is impossible to lose it....but hey....gospel devaluers and those not LED OF GOD will devalue the truth and JESUS at every turn.....rather sickening.....

sometimes I wonder if it's possible to get addicted to rereading one's own testimony just because of how meaningful it can feel <-- I bet only the saved would ask that question

Hinduism? say what?

If the moment of salvation the experience is so powerful I bet back in our mind if we're offered concepts like Hinduism, we can't help but to make comparisons like 'but what about our salvation, that moment of salvation for our Christian faith"
therefore, I think God grounded our faith, and our faith should be secure

Oh ye of little faith

It's our New Nature that is free, unblemished, free from sin, holy and righteous. The Flesh is the exact opposite. If you were free from the Old Man you wouldn't you commit a single sin. Why in the world can't you understand that?
NO MAN will be 100% sinless until the day they get a glorified body or die..........and yet when we post the truth of this we get accused of a live as we please and sin when we want lifestyle......bs.....!!
