I agree.....I have whacked over 100 deer in three states with bow, cross bow, muzzle loader, shotgun with slugs, 25-06, 30-06, Mini-14 and everyone was eaten and or given to poor families that needed food............I even took two and processed them for an Indian lady that would not eat beef for fear of eating a REINCARNATED relative............I never really cared about the rack, and would just as soon smoke a nice doe for the freezer

Ever been to Tiger Georgia I have/had a lot of family from there "Quarles,Qualls" ect. I looked at a lot of pictures and always wanted to go.

I just hope someday the gang banging and the senseless school shootings like just two days ago in NC can be resolved probably not at this point, I hear a lot of gun fire where I live and I know what’s going on gang banging sad indeed.

I don’t know if someone has to go through basic fire arm training when buying a gun today, I know back when I got a few guns I just walked in the store and purchased without giving any info yea it’s was way back in the 80’s hehe

there’s background checks I know today but don’t know about the training.

But A right to have is a right regardless.

It's the same here in Texas every night gunfire everywhere.

I get the owning guns thing I don’t want my guitar being band.

I really don’t know what to say about the oscillating gun violence across the board. I think having to walk out the house being loaded isn’t living in my opinion but it’s getting to the point where I have to think about that, people are getting more and more whacked out that ol saying (must be something in the water) hmm maybe that’s not to far fetched.

I believe that the bodies ability to produce superhuman feats of strength when it is absolutely necessary for defense is a clear sign that defending yourself may occur but, I seriously question some who have guns.

I believe that 95% of people with guns that are criminal minded, just want what you have and would rather take it without killing you.....If they desired to just kill and take, a gun in your hands is useless with a bullet in the head before any conversation happens.
ANY material item is not worth dying for.....So what scenario do some envision where having a gun would benefit them? Gonna outdraw a bad guy?
A gun is a tool. Since it can deal death it needs to be used with care after training both physical and mental. I live in Florida where there is a stand your ground law. A person is expected to try and back out of the situation but if need be defending themselves or others they can stand their ground.

Can. Yes

Should. Not necessarily

Any person who pulls out a gun should be ready to use it. And not lethally either. Which means it takes great skill to disable an intruder or assailant without killing them. And yet that is all that is necessary to stop the bad guys.

There are several other means of self defense which can be quite effective. And for those without the training, trusting in the Lord is your primary defense as a Christian. At the same time, a proper monitored security system for the home should be a given.

I agree it felt ok the whole time when just hunting but now it's really odd thinking about a defense thing.

Keep in mind it takes increased skill to disable a person with a gun so they can't shoot back. That's why cops are trained to go for center chest. It's an easier target and the person is incapacitated or dead.

I know how you feel I really don’t want to kill anyone but it’s getting to the point where it’s just not safe out there in our neighborhoods and city’s

I noticed that too. The police dept. in Dallas was the only place I remember where someone assaulted armed officers. The only other was the guy that did at fort Hood but he did it when they were unarmed eating. All the others were the places with no guns.

I posted martial arts stuff to maybe present alternatives to killing but the reality of it all is even knowing hand to hand self defense is fading fast and being quick draw McGraw might be the only option moving forward.

For a Christian that would be murder. And yes it does take great skill to shoot without killing, and that is really what cops should be doing.
