Romans 11:23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again.

me: I laughed
God: laughing because you are "self-righteous" is a sin (keep in mind that God looks at the heart), want to confess to me?
me: sure
God: I will be faithful to cleanse you of all unrighteousness, you are forgiven (1 John 1:9)
me: thank you
God: your welcome :)

the evidence of weakness (ie: impaired judgment) as proof that
self-righteousness is sin
if improperly treated, these thoughts can lead to "lashing out"

But you and others are boasting of having superior faith whether you want to accept it or not.You claim to be trusting 100% in Jesus and I guess the professors are somewhere below that.Got to work harder to get to 100%. So even 99% trust will see us being lost?Who/what determines who is trusting 100% vs 99%?As I asked and you failed to answer:

"The way you and others try to claim, the faith of those who say they have faith, was not genuine, make faith into the work and a source of boasting which you despise so much. Those who have "mere" faith will not be saved neither will those who only have,"professing" faith. But what would you say is the amount of faith out of 100% that will get us saved? Is 50% the pass mark or maybe 60% or do I need 100%. What is the standard and who determines this?"

Can anyone from the superior(harder working)faith camp answer these questions?
These people easily claim they are unworthy sinners who can only point to Jesus and they have the
true faith in Jesus not to add anything to His work. But truly they are claiming 100% faith.

In this argument, commandments are sarcastic jokes, their failure is Gods intention, righteousness
and goodness is never achievable, the cross was God showing how great He is nothing more, and
He forgives who He chooses, and they are incapable of walking like Him.

But that is the joke. God has always been perfect, fulfilled, true, Holy, pure, righteous.
The power of the cross is to cleanse and purify us through forgiveness and love, to open our hearts
and cleanse us, to purify us through faith, empower us to walk and know the love that abounds in
Him. The apostles knew how incredible this is, so they stated as such.

13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show it by his good life, by deeds
done in the humility that comes from wisdom.

14 But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth.
15 Such "wisdom" does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, of the devil.
16 For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.
17 But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate,
submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.
18 Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness.
James 3

We obey Jesus because we love Him.
23 If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching
John 14

If one does not love Him, one does not obey Him. This is an important realisation, because rather people learn
this now than before the throne of God. Once learnt one can repent and accept His forgiveness and start
to learn what His means, and walk in His ways. Make no mistake God cannot be mocked.

7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
8 The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction;
the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
Gal 6

ETC.............I dare to say that salvation losers are false.....and what they peddle is not of GOD and as blasphemous as it comes......the above is a SMALL sample of scriptural promises that MUST BE DENIED, REJECTED and or SWEPT UNDER THE TABLE to peddle a dime store salvation that cannot be found in the bible and or a dime store salvation that devalues the work, promises and ministry of CHRIST!!!!!!!
Those who do not know Jesus, literally, think their walk is adding to Jesus's work rather than
the fulfilment of it.

This is so fundamental to repentance, purity, holiness, those who preach the opposite have never
entered in, and are trying to close the door for those who might believe and enter.

Their faith is the faith that all are saved no matter what, so why preach so aggressively, unless in
truth they represent opposition to the very gospel itself, and wish to persuade as many as will listen
to abandon the path of salvation and faith, and stay like the world lost in sin.

In their theology I am as saved as anyone, and can never lose it, so why get angry, why accuse of
blasphemy which does not matter, because put simply they are no friend of Jesus or His love.
They claim not to be condemning, judgemental or divisive, except this is what they preach all the
time, and desire to discourage anyone who takes holiness and purity seriously as God intended.

Such opposition to the path of God has only one source.

7 For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life.
1 Thess 4

A Christian can sin all they want and will still remain saved. A Christian can even stop believing in Jesus and still remain saved.
The above statement is said by someone who claims to be a believer, and yet it was asked by another
member that no one ever stated such an idea, or believed it.

Now these kind of statements of belief stick in my mind because they are so staggering.

AMEN...........the foundation of bedrock......By grace FAITH saves ETERNALLY
Let's hear it for the beautiful verses Paul wrote in Titus!!

Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. 15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

Those who have truly received GRACE have

a. Been taught to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts.

b. Been taught to live soberly, righteousnly in this present world. (or age)

c. Looking for the blessed hope and appearing of our Great God and Saviour.

d. Have been redeemed from all iniquity.

e. Have been redeemed by Christ, with the intent to be a purified, peculiar people, zealous of good works.

f. And we are to teach these thing with all authority, and not allow ourselves to be despised.

NOTE- These are all DESCRIPTIVE statements, not prescriptive. In other words, they are not things prescribed in order to receive grace/salvation, they are descriptive of those WHO HAVE received salvation.

EXACTLY.....very deceptive and subtle.....yet the same result....a losable salvation that is maintained by men
"the doctrine of Perserverance" holds that

1. a person CANNOT lose their salvation,

2. and this fact (point 1 above) is based on the faithfulness of GOD

Why are you deliberately lying? Is it because a Christian can lie all they want?

He has spoken to a few he says......which ones are that........only the few that do not have him on ignore......
They should not despise me for teaching what Titus 2:11-14 says, because Paul said the things in that passage are to be spoken and exhort and those who deny them should be rebuked, and he tells Titus not to let anyone despise him for doing so.

So I don't have the authority Paul had, nor that Titus had, but I can still proclaim the truths written in Titus 2, and I guess people can just despise me for doing so, but I personally don't care.

If you thought I cared about popularity, you were wrong. The truth is never popular, not even among professing Christians, obviously.

You obviously do not believe in eternal security and you fail to acknowledge the truth that contradicts your hard fast blather.....
You obviously do not know what the doctrine of perserverance teaches. The doctrine of perserverance and the doctrine of eternal security are ONE AND THE SAME.

Does your JEEZUS FINISH and COMPLETE the faith you describe above in PETER? MINE DOES
Why are you treating the Name Above All Names with IRREVERANCE? o_O. But anyways, I don't know who Jeezus is, but my GREAT GOD AND SAVIOUR JESUS finishes and completes my faith. Which is exactly why those who are saved believe and will believe until the end. Even though a Christian may have a temporary lapse, and the Good shepherd may have to go and retrieve them.

Why do you suppose GOD chastises BELIEVERS <-->SONS that he receives?
That we might be partakers of His Holiness and To produce righteousness in us. (Hebrews 12:10-11) Why do you believe He chastens them.

Why does God yank rewards and inheritances from believers?
Where does it say in the Bible that God yanks inheritance from us?

Why does God say some are saved yet SO AS BY FIRE?
Because some of our works will be burned up.

Why are some cut loose for the destruction of the flesh?
I'll let Paul answer that one.

1 Corinthians 5:5- To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of theLord Jesus.

See...your idiotic stand makes no room for the above
:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL: Wrong again, as evidenced by my answers above

SIN in a believer is the answer to last four on the list!
never said a believer does not sin. Do you want a hat for your strawman or a match to burn it with?

I know your position.
And I agree with it.
But remember we can be encompassed by the old nature and it does rule over us.
That's why we need to walk with those who are.
Telling them to stop it doesn't necessarily work
Afterall they are walking in/after the spirit.
I disagree with the statement that the old nature rules over us. Sin shall have no dominion over you. Romans 6:14

as staggering as one who thinks he can one, while still in the flesh walked just as He walked, while at the SAME TIME denies the Biblical definition of sin?

yep, that is pretty staggering....

The once saved always saved is very risky business, that is pretty saying there are automatic wheats who don’t get judge at judgement day, the wheat and tares have not been divided yet, everyone will be judged according to deeds and those are not of OT deeds, and no one knows want the judge will do.

Matt 7
21Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’

23Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness!’

22 and 23 is quite profound in that even though they did miracles, good deeds etc. in Jesus name, even folks who believe and do mighty things. plainly are not known.

Things of deeds/works that are required are these,

Gala 5
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

which I fall short myself and need to ingrain these. other whys wont be known, and I believe this goes for everyone not just me.

Of these things self control is probably the hardest to do, no doubt I’m guilty of this, but I’m not the only I see far to many who like me have no self control, at times I’m not patience kind good gentle. if I lack these I’m not very worthy. I can’t keep saying o well it’s a new day that doesn’t cut it, I have to ingrain these and they need to be part of who I am.

Mr. M.....I think you are bringing together two separate ideas that are in fact separate

The old man and sin nature are not one and the same

When we are born again we put off the old man, the old man is our former position in the first Adam.

Everything we were in Adam #1 is gone. So yes we become a new creation in Christ, located there positionally and judicially.

When you understand this you will understand why the doctrine of "perserverance" of the saints is not true OSAS but the carnal (as in the flesh) approach to OSAS.

The new man still resides in the body where the sin is ever present, there will always be a propensity for sin in our lives that is just a fact.
