the Abrahamic Covenant is un-conditional, (GEN. 22:18.)
'And in Thy Seed' shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because you have obeyed My voice.'

there is more to this, but this is the 'long and short of it'...
REV. 7:9-10.
After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations,
and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before The Lamb,
clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sits upon the throne, and unto The Lamb.

promised in Genesis - fulfilled in Revelation...
(Thy Word is Truth and Sure, from the BEGINNING to the END.)
He PROMISED Abraham around 4,000yrs. ago, - and we see it written by John around 2,000yrs. later,
and Praise God, 'we shall see it fulfilled'...

An example of a Chief Jewish Rabbi, not antisemitic speaking at the U.N in 1947. ...

The United Nations Special Committee on Palestine was formed for the express purpose of dealing with the question of Zionism. On July 9th, 1947, during its 24th meeting, the following testimony was heard from Rabbi Fischman, the Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem:

Sir Abdur Rahman asked him the question: “When was the promise made by God?”
Rabbi Fischman replied: “The promise was made to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob about 4,000 years ago.”
Sir Rahman: “When was it confirmed by God?”
Rabbi Fischman: “It was reaffirmed to Moses.”
Sir Rahman: “Did God also promise that 10 tribes would also arise out of Ishmael, son of Hagar and Abraham?”
Rabbi Fischman: “He did not. 12 tribes would arise only out of Jacob, the son of Isaac.”
Sir Rahman: “According to Jews, was not the return to their land to coincide with the Messiah’s appearing?”
Rabbi Fischman: “No, according to Hebrew tradition, they must first return to Jerusalem in Palestine before the Messiah can come. Only then, after the return of Jews to Palestine, will their Messiah appear.”

Sir Rahman: “How long after the return of Jews to Palestine will the Messiah arrive, according to you?”
Rabbi Fischman: “This is a thing nobody can tell.”

lol, I was completely content that we didn't need to see anymore about the Jewish rabbis when you said that you already knew that in post #376 so if you notice I gave no more quotes from rabbi's after that(you said you already knew). It's fine though that you posted this from the opposing side of this issue but I think you may be missing the issue that they are facing.

In Israel 74.7% are Jewish,17.7 are Muslim 2% Christian and then the others. In the last election B, Netanyahu warned that the right wing government is in danger(120 seats in knesset so 61 in order to win and form government) https://www.nytimes.com/2019/01/04/opinion/sunday/israeli-jews-american-jews-divide.html . Netanyahu promised in his speeches he would annex the Golan heights if he does or not we will see but it is a violation of the peace accord if he does.

The Jews who don't live there(mostly Orthodox) don't see this as the correct Israel and live in other nations(mostly US) and are anti-Zionist, (not antisemitic you keep using it improperly/media training, lol ) but since they do they cant vote in Israel anyway. Neither of the two sides of Judaism believe Jesus is the Messiah and so don't follow the Christian books as we do and so only have OT to try to understand the AoD(we have much more in ours on the subject).

So Israel is locked into a position where if they expand out and rule the lands the Scriptures give then they would then be expanding into nations that are predominately Muslim and so if they let them vote then in the first election of PM the Muslim vote would be dominate and win and would form a new government and pull the Israeli flag down.

lol, now the Orthodox Jews know this and keep saying that it is not the correct type government(should be a theocracy/Torah) and so see it as an imposter. Christians should see this also but don't know enough about Judaism or Israeli politics to understand. I'll stop at this point to see if I need to say more later.

If the Abrahamic covenant was unconditional, why and how did Israel lose the use of the land ? Didn't God Himself first bring them there ?

I think we can safely say that Ezekiel's "dry bones" prophecy to those exiled in Babylon would have taken little comfort had they known that Ezekiel's words were intended for those in the 20th century.

I believe two people already answered your question.

Not only that, but his words ring hollow.....God allowed them to rebuild the temple and they had a system of worship.....and JESUS called the temple his Father's house of prayer.....the dry bones prophecy indicated a nation standing but no spirituality....JUST LIKE THEY ARE TODAY.....but hey........the end came and went in 70 A.D. and we are on auto cruise I guess....

Hmm, I responded with this...

I already realize there are anti-Zionist Orthodox Rabbis, I also know the Jewish community has many pro-Zionist Rabbis. I also know that the Jewish community has more views on any one topic than there are Jews discussing that topic. lol
I don't see where I said, "I already knew that" (whatever you took 'that' to be referring to.). It is obvious from the above what I did say though.

Netanyahu promised in his speeches he would annex the Golan heights if he does or not we will see but it is a violation of the peace accord if he does.
I'll let the Israeli Courts decide that.

Judaism opposed Jesus holding to the teachings of their Traditions rather than God's Word, (sort of like many Roman Catholics today) so they are wrong on at least two counts...Jesus and Israel today.

So Israel is locked into a position where if they expand out and rule the lands the Scriptures give then they would then be expanding into nations that are predominately Muslim and so if they let them vote then in the first election of PM the Muslim vote would be dominate and win and would form a new government and pull the Israeli flag down.
And so? God is in control and He can pull a rabbit out of a hat at anytime He wants.

I'm sorry you keep seeing God and His dealing through the Orthodox who don't even know God or the power of God although they definitely have a 'form of godliness'. Christians know that the government that is there now has plenty of faults, but is better than the Jews living under Sharia or in a Concentration Camp.

ps, back in post 397, I made this blooper I saw after the 5min buzzer,..."

It should have read 'not an anti-zionist.

I said, "I'll let the Israeli Courts decide that", concerning Netanyahu wanting to annex the Golan (although I thought he mentioned the West Bank not the Golan Heights.)

Benjamin Netanyahu is not the president of Israel Reuven Revlin is. His term began in 2014 and expires in 2021 he is who has the power to appoint a PM in Israel who now is Netanyahu they are not a democracy like the US, they are a parliamentary democracy ....

Did I call B.B. president? Still, their courts decide on matters such as annexation, if challenged.

No the top executive powers are exercised by the cabinet of minsters, legislative powers by the Knesset and the interpretation of law by the judicial selection committee.

In the US the challenge takes place after the elections,,,last month was the challenge in Israel. Netanyahu won enough seats, was appointed by the president and has full approval to do what he agreed to do.

lol, it's simple actually if you think about it,,PM runs and says he'll annex somewhere,he gets appointed,,someone gets mad because of it, certain flags pop up on satellite of movements,,,, in response and carrier groups and bomber squadrons move all their rooks and castles in place to intercept it.

I'm talking about a legal challenge where annexing the Golan Heights is challenged. It will end up either in Israeli Courts or the International Court.
You seem to be talking on a different wavelength all night. Are you feeling okay?

Nice....now show where Israel conquered them....should be easy to prove......GOD said they are yours as an everlasting inheritance...do they rule them to this DAY...NOPE...you're still wrong!! YET to be fulfilled

PAYING tribute does not = conquered territory BORDERS......try again....not fulfilled yet
Don't you at least "wonder" why Joshua 21: 43-45 and Nehemiah 9: 8 say what they do ? 1 Kings 4: 21 ... not impressed ? Oh well ... conquer onward.

Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Kuwait ... and most likely one or two more, we're coming for you. And don't simply "secede" your territory, because technically, that doesn't equate to being conquered.

Not understanding the difference between spiritual Israel and earthly Israel ... not understanding the difference between figurative and literal prophecy fulfillment leads to this, and a myriad of other "inevitable conclusions", including Christ's glorious presence and Him giving approval of animal sacrifices being reinstated in yet a 3rd temple. Glorified saints co-existing with fleshly bodies. And one day after a thousand years has passed, the fleshy inhabitants of the millenial reign are going to say of Christ's glorified presence ... " you know what ... He's nothing without his chompers". Let's overpower this guy. This is what you get folks. And on and on I could go.

A few things

Spiritual Isreal. Never promised land, Not jew or gentil (not even really spiritual Israel. Not sure where this term came from)

Physical Isreal. Given a plot of land forever

Prophesy. Not symbolic

There is no such things as symbolic prophesy, God is not the author of confusion. When he says this will happen. it will happen. He may use symbols to represent literal things or events (like he used beast to represent literal gentile empires) but the prophesies still LITERALLY occure. Not symbolically.

Actually yes it is

A figure is a symbol, which us used to represent something,

Again, even daniel used figures (statues and beasts) to represent literal things, but the things the fugure represented literally came true

Example. Nebuchadnezzar was the head of Gold, A figure was used to represent him and four other kingdoms, Yet th ekingdoms were literal kingdoms, not spiriual truths that were not literal

Sorry not following all the discussion but just wanted to add that many churches/believers in my city are getting together to bless Israel this weekend.
Bless as in worship and praise God and pray for that nation.

Is this a good thing to do or not? GOd does ask that we pray for Jerusalem, which is the apple of his eye. Its where our Lord was crucified and where He will return. Its from there the gospel spread to the ends of the earth. Its Jesus homeland.

Maybe the reason we don't understand the difference is because there is no mention in Scripture of a thing called 'spiritual' Israel, referring to Gentiles, nor is there the term 'spiritual' Gentile.
