From what I've read in scripture...It seems certain that this world will be destroyed and there will be a new heaven and new earth coming down from God out of Heaven. If there is scripture saying that this present earth will be saved and not destroyed someone please post the scripture. I really would like to see it. Thanks:)

And yes, we really should try to take care of animals, but to put their well being above other people just don't sound right to me.

Matthew 10:29-31 King James Version (KJV)
29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.

30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Where does it say that God is going to clean up this present earth/world?

Isaiah 24
18 And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.

19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.

20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.

21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.

22 And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.

23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the Lord of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.

Revelations 21
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Right there He makes it new cant you see?

What you think God is just going to replace this planet with another one lol.

Never said we put them above others. GOd loves the sparrows and he loves us more than the sparrows, yet He still cares for the sparrows!

Yeah, because that's what scripture says...This earth is doomed... Unless it says something other wise in scripture that I've never saw before, then yes, this world will fall and not rise again...and will be replaced by the Holy City coming down from God out of Heaven. I've never saw anything in scripture indicating that he is going to salvage this world, but hey I could have missed something. If so then please post it...thanks

Every christian ought to know this scripture John 3:16-17
GOd so loved the world, that he sent his only begotten son, that whosever believeth in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Wasn't talking to you there. Sorry I should have hit reply. Just talking about where the other guy said the US is spending 70 billion dollars to care for animals when there are so many homeless, hungry, people in the world.

Seems pretty petty to me to make sure your dog has the best puppy chow when there are so many people starving. Just saying...People should be more concerned about other people than animals.

I totally agree with this comment. I believe we are all connected. I believe we are mandated by God to care for all of creation (Genesis 1:26)

For many people, we Christians are the only Bible they read (I found that idea somewhere- it isn't mine) When they see Christians sincerely caring for all of God's gifts we are setting an example. It is kind of like living rent free in someone's house, it doesn't belong to me, and I want to take care of it and leave it in just as good or even better condition than when I moved in.
That helped a while until we see a political candidate criticize the sitting Vice President Pence for always standing by biblical truth. There has not been a single negative on him, yet the corrupt and perverted use every opportunity to castigate him. My concern is a growing concern locally believing he is overly tender in demeanor, though he's simply being a back-seat guy as proper toward the POTUS.

Rather than count on people "reading" our actions so they might interpret our Christianity, it's a commandment to preach the gospel, you know, like Jesus, the apostles, and disciples have done all along. I know many non-Christians who often act like the "best" Christians, some of them being atheists, Buddhist, Muslim, Hindu, and others. Keep in mind the religions of the world are based on works, not faith. The Way of Christ is the only belief based on faith. So how much faith do people see in us?

Whatever scriptures you see as "mandating" care for creation is dwarfed by commandments towards spiritual issues. I just don't see global concerns as being important to God. He keeps the universe working on time, but lets us believers build a crop for a harvest of souls.

Also key into the fact that it says the world through him might be saved. Not will be saved because that is up to us as people to choose to accept his salvation or not.

LOL...Get a clue....
So this is what it means by reading the word with the natural eye and not with the spiritual eye.

He that hath an ear let him hear what the Spirit is saying.

God had established a covenant, not just with Noah, but with every beast of the earth, no more destuction with a flood. You think He doesnt care? Hmmm, so everytime you see a rainbow, you dont remmeber this covenant I suppose. Which is everlasting. Okaaay.

Check out genesis 8:21

You get a clue. If you have the holy spirit living inside of you, you will know what He means.

You are concentrating on this world, but as Christians we should have our minds set on things above, spiritual things not things of this world. This world is going to end, but we do have a hope of a better world....so we need to be focused on that and helping as many people as we can.

LOL...same goes for you, honey.

God never told us to be out cleaning the world, picking up trash or what not, but he did tell us to get busy for him... spreading his word and feeding his sheep (meaning people not actual sheep).

Actually a few did. It wasnt just for jews it was for israelites. I see your entire theology is rather twisted just by that statement. GOd did promise land to abrahams descendants right?

As far as I know the land is still there....
I never said will be saved either, days theough him might be saved. Because guess whos going to look after the land and everything when He makes everything new. Believers! Will he allow anyone who pollutes and defiles to enter in? Nope.

And how will He know this, why by our actions now. So if you are of the mindset it doesnt matter to God what you do on this earth, and how you treat others, think again.
