Especially when nails are driven into our Lords hands and feet,,,there defiantly is a consaquence to sin...
As well as...

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

There are consequences to sin. Period.

I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
(Rom 6:19-22)

Galatians 6:7-8 (KJV) Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
You are of course free to believe that God will still punish you for your sins.

Since you subscribe to CT, that is understandable. Cheers

Your meaning Isaiah 1:26 ? If so who do you see as the judges and Councillors who are ruling in the earth, Pope Francis,Joel Olsteen,Benny Hinn?

26 And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city. Isiaih 1:26

The city of righteousness or the faithful city he name Christian in Acts She will come down prepared as His eternal bride on the last day . her counselors are the living abiding words of her husband Christ. . She is comforted by the words of her husband our counselors.

Not sure about those guys. I would think our surety comes from Christ not seen. Not judges as counselors seen or kings as counselors who are ruling over the earth as if we did walk by sight. we are warned of those who say we need an man seen to teach. One is our teacher and father in heaven .In that way we are to call no man seen good teacher. The Son on man, Jesus refused to stand in that Holy unseen place of the glory .

When accused of standing in the Holy place of the father (good master) .Jesus said only God not seen is good.

Judges was the period of Kings in Israel it was restored to .God had temporally given over the Jew in unbelief to do what they should not. Because of their jealously of the surrounding nations

It was restored to the time of Judges when God not seen used prophets, bringing His counselors as the word of God so that each man could walk as two in agreement with the counsel of one ……...our King of kings, and Lord of lords.

The counsel of God is after no man

Psalm 119:23-25 King James Version (KJV) Princes also did sit and speak against me: but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.
Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counselors. My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word

Boy am I ever confused now.
So you are saying, THAT Nathan told David that his son that died was Jesus?

Amen, it was not revealed by flesh and blood, but a faith that comes from hearing God .The faith of Christ. He is the witness giving first hand information. .

ALL Isreal will be saved,
Can you tell me who is the "Israel" in this plan....are we talking about ethnic Israel, you do know that there are no records for present day Jews to trace their bloodline back to the various tribes, as well, analysis of anyone's DNA will show we all have many lineages in our history

And you are free to believe there are no consequences IN THIS LIFE for your sins, since you ascribe to an aberrant form of Dispensational teaching and bear false witness of others. (I am not CT).

Many people claim to hear God or hear from God, but if it doesn't jive with God's written word it's not fling in my book...

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but test the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
(1Jn 4:1)

Isaiah 8:20 (KJV) To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Hah, I was aware that CT tend to allegorize scripture to fit their view but this kind of allegory just takes the cake!

If God were to punish me for my sins, he is punishing the same sin twice, once in Jesus, another in me.

King David did not get the benefit of that, that was why his son had to die.

No in Scripture https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1+Samuel+8&version=KJV what they did was refuse the Lord as their king and ask to have kings over them like the other nations. But in Isaiah 1:26 it states that they would be restored https://biblehub.com/interlinear/isaiah/1-26.htm "as at first" and so he(Jesus) will be their king and the Judges and Councillors will be restored just like before king Saul...

Nathan told him someone sinned and slew a lamb and that his son then would die and he was forgiven. Jesus is one of his sons right?

If you are willing to allegorize anyone of his many sons as Jesus, as and when it suits your purpose, then you can of course make any point you want.

nope I'll stick with the literal nails, beating, body disjointing, bleeding, piercing spear in the side, getting spit on death of the Cross and attribute mine own, yours, crossnotes Davids ect .ect. salvation to that literal death. But then several pages back when I ask you when where and how Saul/Paul was saved you talked about Acts 9 as if you didn't understand he was saved by the blood of the Cross. And from that point on you've been trying to show all sorts of salvation other than that the Cross.

Nope, I was saved by the blood of Jesus Christ on the Cross, you were too about two thousand years before I/we were born and then I/we played the "Get Saved Game" until I/we realized I/we were denying the Cross where I/we were actually saved. Do you believe he saved you on the Cross at Calvary?

Are we still on the point about David and Nathan, or have you moved on?
