no, this is interesting and helpful, thank you. "munching gets to me, i need to chew gum, that is a help, and drink water, so often I mistake thirst for hunger and munch when I should drink water.

Did you know chewing gum is preparing your stomach for food , it thinks it is getting something , all chewing gum does is fill you with air , a part from making your breath smell nice for a while , but it will give you hunger pains and keep you thirsty , eat fruit anytime of your choice , it is filling , and healthy , and the natural sugars are not the same as the sugars you find in food...xox...

Studies show that the digestive juices start activating even before food hits the mouth. Just the smell and sight of it sends signals to the body to get those digestive juices flowing.

I made the mistake once of using a whole punnet of strawberries to juice and ended up with a really bad stomach ache and was in agony at work. Never again.

ok, I seem to have a chewing need, and it helps with that instead of eating something. I am aware the stomach doesn't know the difference between food and water, thus drinking water fills at least temporarily, and we do need hydration. I have read that many of not most symptoms are abated by hydration, perhaps blood sugar as well?

That is the sugar I use in my hot drinks , it comes from the birchwood tree , and does not spike me , it is the most natural sugar I have ever tasted , and it is very good for cleaning teeth and gums if you are chewing it for this matter...xox...

There is another word you can use at your convenience. We say footpath and you guys say sidewalk as I understand it. You can tell them you are learning a second language, Australian

Thank you for your kind comments , I truly appreciate them...
And all of us learn through our mistakes...
I made a huge blunder last week , and yes I have learned by my mistake , instead of blending my soup I made , I used my whisk LOL , you can only imagine the mess :D...

The funny thing was , when I realised it was spraying everywhere , I turned it off by the mains , took out the whisks , put them back in and tried again , only to make matters worse , it didn't dawn on me until the next day that it was my hand blender I should of used , not my batter whisk :giggle:...xox...

Hi all...
Today I blended my fruits and made my little favourite snack pot which is chia seeds , goji berries , made with Hazelnut milk...
I woke up feeling achy and tired from the gym yesterday , so I am resting today in bed...I have realised that when changes happen in our life , it takes the mind sometime to catch up , so rest is good for this...

Oh boy! Take 1 day away from the computer (to do stuff with the kiddos) and miss so much, lol. (I have spent all morning catching up on everything from CC yesterday, lol)

Just a little reminder that I have made this thread for my personal use , to give me something to look back on as I go through this journey of healing , and all of you who have taken time to comment has given me so much encouragement to help towards pushing through...
I guess what I am saying is , I do not want to bore you , but it is a place where I am using for my personal needs...xox...

Today was wonderful at the gym , although I do not like the floor exercises , Ii cannot even do a sit up lol , but the bike and rowing machine I loved...
I got home and made a Hazelnut milk smoothie , with peanut butter ( no palm oil ) frozen banana , and a dribble of caramel for added flavour , and a few ice cubes , it was delish , and I tested my blood sugar levels , and they are just fine , all the glory to God who has set this path before me...

"I guess what I am saying is , I do not want to bore you , but it is a place where I am using for my personal needs...xox... "

So... are we to butt out and not respond to this thread on a forum intended to encourage one another in faith???

As an American, a "citizen" and not a "subject" it may not happen that way, we tend to work against established order.

I just found oat milk in my local grocery store, is it sweet?
Bless you sister
SO (I have read on ahead here a little, but I'll back up and reply little at a time)
Another wonderful example of how different cultures interpret things, lol.
My first impression was also that maybe Rosemary didn't want all these replies. Then I read:
"and all of you who have taken time to comment has given me so much encouragement to help towards pushing through..."
and I thought "ok she likes the replies. Then I read:
I guess what I am saying is , I do not want to bore you , but it is a place where I am using for my personal needs...xox...
and I was like .

I concluded that Rosemary just wants a place to write about her stuff and just wants people to know she's doing it! And if they find this boring, well to bad, they don't have to read/stick around!
Rosemary, thank you for sharing all this with us. you are very informative and encouraging.
I started doing the same with my thread in the ladies room. Part of me stopped b/c I had the same thoughts "is this boring people" but then decided "oh well" The main reason I stopped posting on it is b/c I actually stopped with what I was doing. Life and time getting in the way again. But I may start again soon.
Anyway I'm glad you choose to share with us! I don't find you boring at all!

Hi all...
I thought I would make this thread hoping to encourage those who are interested in juicing for health reasons , like detoxing the body , giving your organs a rest , or looking to lose some extra pounds that we want shifting...

I am type 2 diabetic , and have been for the past six years , and I have gone from eating junk food to plant based eating thrown in with junk food in my eating plan , now after years of crying because I have failed so many times , I have been led by a brother on CC who has kindly led me on a strict eating plan through Gods leading , and I have to say for the first time in six years living with this chronic disease , my blood sugar levels are dropping , and I have lost 8lbs , all the glory to God most high...

I eat one main meal a day , usually at 5.30pm , and eat nothing after 6.pm , my night time snacking was a big downfall for me...
I wake up normally 6.30am and drink raw ginger & Tumeric root ( using my juicer ) followed by a green juice of veg...

I am on a journey to get this diabetes into remission , so I thought if I make this thread , it will help me also to keep track of my journey and share with you my juices and ingredients ...

Yesterday , I prayed nearly all morning before I saw my doctor , I never know which doctor I am about to see , but I sure did need someone who was going to help me , and not tell me the usual that I will need meds all my life , and scare me with the horrors towards the grave , and God so blessed me with a lovely young doctor who said " keep on keeping on " and was full of encouragement...

Well here is my juice for mid morning , watermelon with some fresh strawberries that I put into a mold and froze... View attachment 199322 View attachment 199323
